"And with him out, I can now activate the effect of my Summon Reactor SK. By sending my 3 monsters to my graveyard, I can summon my favorite monster," Greiger said as his 3 monsters disappeared. "Crow is in trouble now," Alex said, remembering his duel against Greiger's ace monster. "I'm glad you remember my Flying Fortress SKY FIRE Alex. Although I don't think your friend will have as easy a time at beating it as you did," Greiger said as his ace appeared. "That's not a monster, that's world war 4!" Crow exclaimed. "If you think he's scary now, just wait 'til his special ability kicks in. By discarding one card, I can destroy any card on your field, like your Silver Shield," Greiger said.

Crow could only watch as his monster was blasted into oblivion. "And now for his attack. Hit Bora the Spear with missile barrage!" Greiger shouted. Sky Fire launched a volley of missiles at Crow's monster, but a barrier appeared between Crow and the shockwave from the attack. "Due to Mistral's special ability, when he's destroyed, the next time I'm supposed to take battle damage, I don't," Crow explained.

"Looks like Crow outplayed Greiger on that one," Alex said. "You've just prolonged your suffering. Now which one of your little birds is going to swoop in and save you?" Greiger taunted. I wish I knew that myself. His Sky Fire is looking unstoppable. Not only can he destroy any of my cards during his turn, but if I summon or set a card, he can destroy it and deal me 800 points of damage. If I wanna win, I'd better do it fast, which means it all comes down to this draw, Crow thought to himself. "Here we go!" he shouted as he drew.

Another Blackwing. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but maybe my deck's trying to tell me something. If I can't stop Sky Fire's effect, maybe I should use it to my advantage like Alex did. Crow thought to himself. "I summon Blackwing Vayu the Emblem of Honor in defense mode," Crow said.

Crow you trickster, Alex thought to himself, familiar with his monster's effect. "What a waste, I was hoping to destroy something of value this turn, but your monster is about as threatening as a rubber duck. And I can't wait to hear the squeak it makes when Sky Fire takes it out and your life points," Greiger said. Sky Fire hovered above Crow and dropped bombshells on his monster, sending him flying from the blast and almost knocking him off the track.

"Now that was a close one," Crow said as he regained his balance. And if it gets any closer, I'm afraid Crow might not be around for a victory lap, Yusei thought to himself. "You ready to take this duel up a notch?" Crow asked. "I am, but your field's running on empty," Greiger responded. "Well I'm about to fill 'er up Greiger," Crow replied. "What?" Greiger asked. "I activate Vayu's special ability. You see, Vayu can't be used for a synchro summon when he's on the field, but if he's in my graveyard, I can remove him and another monster in my graveyard from the game in order to synchro summon," Crow explained.

"A synchro summon from the graveyard?!" Greiger exclaimed. "That's right. And I tune Vayu with the Elphin the Raven that's in my grave in order to synchro summon Blackwing Armor Master!" Crow shouted as he summoned his ace monster.

"And since there's a Blackwing on my field, I can summon Blackwing Gale the Whirlwind from my hand," Crow said as he summoned another monster.

"You got two monsters for the price of nothing. Perhaps I did underestimate your little birds, but you gotta realize this duel isn't about believing in your deck, it's what I call a numbers game. And after taking a look at your monsters' attack points, I can see your strategy is for the birds," Greiger mocked. "We'll see about that. Blackwing Armor Master, attack Flying Fortress SKY FIRE!" Crow shouted. "Is this some sort of joke? Your feathered freak doesn't stand a chance against my monster," Greiger said. "I wonder about that. Attack with Black Hurricane!" Crow ordered. Armor Master rushed Sky Fire and became wrapped in a cyclone.

But when the wind faded, Armor Master was just fine. "Impossible! Your monster should've been destroyed!" Greiger shouted. "Hasn't anyone ever told you that life's full of disappointments Greiger? Due to Armor Master's special ability, he can't be destroyed by battle, and I take no damage when he does battle," Crow explained. "Then why attack in the first place and waste a move?" Greiger asked. "I wouldn't say it was a waste," Crow said as Armor Master pulled his fist back, revealing a large black spike embedded in Greiger's monster. "Why is there a spike in my monster?" Greiger asked. "That's Armor Master's other special ability. When he attacked your monster, he left a wedge counter on it, and by removing that counter, your monster's attack and defense are stuck at 0 for the turn," Crow explained.

SKY FIRE: ATK&DEF 3000-0

"My Sky Fire!" Greiger exclaimed. "And why don't I have Gale take advantage of the situation and attack?" Crow said as his monster sent a powerful gust of wind at Greiger's monster, making it explode and causing Greiger to spin out of control and crash. "Greiger!" Yusei called out before he and Alex caught up with Crow. "You were right Yusei. I'm no better than a Dark Signer if I duel with hate in my heart," Crow said. Have I really been dueling with nothing but hatred since I lost my parents? How long until I end up like Greiger? Alex thought to himself. "I'm glad to see you being yourself again, now let's," Yusei began to say before they heard the sound of Greiger's duel runner behind them. They looked back to see Greiger driving out of the debris. "Talk about counting your chickens before they hatch," Crow said. "You scratched my paint job Crow, you'll pay for that!" Greiger shouted. "All that and a scratched paint job is his only concern?" Alex asked.

"I place one card face-down and end my turn, now let's see what you've got," Crow said. "Oh you'll do more than see it, don't forget that this shadow duel's full contact. Just watch this!" Greiger shouted as he began his turn.

"Because of your attack, my field is completely empty, which means I can summon Dark Tuner Doom Submarine from my graveyard," Greiger explained as a card ejected from his graveyard slot.

"Nice move, but I think your submarine's attack points got deep sixed on the way up," Crow taunted. "Then it's a good thing it won't be alone for long. I summon Darksea Rescue in attack mode," Greiger said as he summoned a raft-like monster.

"And now I dark tune my Dark Tuner Doom Submarine and my Darksea Rescue, in order to synchro summon Dark Flattop!" Greiger shouted.

"Crow'll never sink that thing!" Yusei exclaimed. "Well, looks like this duel's just starting to get interesting, I can't wait to see what happens next," Crow said. "Something tells me we don't wanna know," Alex responded.

Hey everyone. I have a big announcement. I've officially finished writing this fanfiction. I was able to sit down with the computer for a couple days without any interruptions and I was able to finish it. I'm still going to space out my uploads a little bit so I have time to work on my upcoming fanfics, which will be uploaded here.
