"That's quite the ship Greiger. It's a shame I'm gonna have to sink it along with all your life points," Crow said as he looked at Greiger's Dark Flattop. "We'll see about that. Because of Darksea Rescue, if it's sent to my graveyard for a synchro summon, I can draw 1 card. In addition, if the monster I synchro summoned was called out in defense mode, I can draw another card," Greiger explained. "With that out of the way, I activate Dark Flattop's special ability, which means I get to bring Sky Fire back from my graveyard," he continued. "You've gotta be kidding me! And I just got rid of it!" Crow exclaimed. And you're gonna have to keep taking out unless you find a way to deep six Greiger's Dark Flattop, Yusei thought to himself.
"Welcome back, Flying Fortress SKY FIRE!" Greiger shouted as his monster revived. "I can't say you've been missed," Crow said. "And now that he's back, I'll celebrate with a bang by using his effect to destroy your Blackwing Armor Master," Greiger said as he discarded a card. Sky Fire unleashed a barrage of bullets on Armor Master, destroying him. "And with him out of the way, I can now set my sights on the only monster you have left," Greiger said as his monster launched a missile at Gale the Whirlwind, destroying it and sending Crow spinning out of control.

When they caught up to him, he was lying face-down in the street and his duel runner was lying on its side. "Crow!" Yusei shouted. "Don't even bother trying to get back up. I'm afraid your runner's down for the count and so are you," Greiger said. "Crow are you okay?" Alex asked. "Stay back, if you interfere, I'll lose. And losing isn't an option," Crow said as he got to his feet.
"Well, from the way things look up here, neither is winning," Greiger said. "Crow this is crazy, let me take over for you, I'll even use your deck," Alex offered. "You should take your friend's offer," Greiger said. "No way. I owe it to the kids to see this through myself," Crow said before he collapsed against his duel runner. "Crow, don't be foolish, you can barely even stand up, and what about your duel runner?" Alex asked. "She may be down, but she's not out yet," Crow answered as he revved it up. It righted itself and made a U-turn to pick up Crow. "See, what did I tell ya?" Crow said. He started walking towards his duel runner but collapsed before he could make it.
"Crow!" Yusei shouted. "Looks like he's down for the count, if he can't duel, then he loses," Greiger said. "No he won't. Because I'm taking over for him," Alex said as he turned to face Greiger. "Fine by me. Just don't beat yourself up when I win and you become a Dark Signer," Greiger said. Alex started to walk towards Crow's duel runner. "Alex, don't do this. I can still," Crow began to say as he tried to push himself up with little to no success. "Crow, you did great, now take a rest. I promise that Greiger won't win, and I'll beat him using your cards. Consider this my way of thanking you for helping me find my way off the same path as Greiger," Alex said as he mounted Crow's duel runner.
"A touching moment, now let's get on with it," Greiger said. "Fine by me, just don't lose your head when I beat you Greiger," Alex said. "Big words, let's see you back them up," Greiger replied. "I've beaten you once before and I can do it again," Alex responded. "Well, while not the circumstances I would've preferred, I guess we finally got to have our rematch," Greiger said as they got ready to start.
"Looks like it," Alex said before he took off, Greiger following close behind. It's a shame you couldn't see this duel to the end yourself Crow. I know that if you had the choice, you would've never backed down, because like me and Alex, you're fighting for the memories of those you care about, Greiger thought to himself as he began to think of his village.
Although we grew up in different parts of the world, we shared a common goal. Like you, I hoped that dueling would provide an out to the life that had been dealt to my friends and family. I believed that if I shared my knowledge of dueling with those close to me, that someday their dreams of a better life would come true. But because of Goodwin, their dreams vanished along with their home, he thought to himself before returning his attention to the duel. "I place one card face-down and end my turn," Greiger said. "It's my move," Alex said as he drew his card.

I've gotta figure out a way to take down his Flying Fortress Sky Fire and his Dark Flattop. If I take out one without the other, I'll lose next turn, Alex thought to himself before he looked at his hand. Wait, with this card, I have a chance, Alex thought as he pulled out a card. "I place one card face-down and end my turn," he said. I hope Alex knows what he's doing, Yusei thought as he drove behind them, Crow seated behind him. "Is that all?" Greiger said as he started his turn.

"Looks like someone's too scared to attack," Greiger taunted. "Remember who you're talking to. We'll see who's too scared to attack, after all, don't forget about my two face-downs," Alex replied. If Greiger attacks, his monster is going down, Alex thought to himself. "I activate Sky Fire's special ability. By discarding a card, I can destroy one of your face-downs, so how about the one you set last turn?" Greiger said as his monster fired at the card in question, revealing it to be Mirror Force. "No!" Alex shouted. "The trap card Mirror Force. If I had attacked carelessly, then I would've lost my monster. But now there's nothing protecting you, and due to the effect of the Darksea Float I discarded, I can draw 1 card," Greiger said.
"Then come and get me!" Alex taunted. "If you insist, Flying Fortress SKY FIRE, attack directly and end this duel!" Greiger ordered. "Alex!" Yusei shouted. "It's over!" Greiger shouted. "Are you sure about that?" Alex asked. "What?" Greiger asked in return. "I play the trap Blackwing Backlash. If you attack me directly when there are 5 or more Blackwing monsters in my graveyard, all your monsters are destroyed," Alex explained.
"Say what?!" Greiger exclaimed. "Say goodbye to your monsters," Alex said as they both exploded. "How could this have happened?" Greiger asked himself aloud. "It's your own fault. Maybe next time you won't go around underestimating me or my friends," Alex said. "Funny, I was about to say the same thing to you. I play the Contaminated Earth trap card," Greiger said as he revealed his face-down. "What's it do?" Alex asked. "Since you destroyed 2 of my monsters, including a level 8 or higher monster, I can summon an Earthbound Immortal from my deck," Greiger explained. "Not this again," Alex said. "I was afraid of this," Yusei said. "Meet my Earthbound Immortal Chacu Challhua!" Greiger shouted.
Level 10/DARK/Fish
ATK 2900/DEF 1600
"Luckily for you, since he was summoned by Contaminated Earth, he can't attack or use his effects this turn, so I end my turn," Greiger explained. "Well, here's hoping third time's the charm, I draw!" Alex said as he started his turn.

I better think this out. Greiger's got the lead in life points, not to mention he's got an Earthbound Immortal out. I gotta beach that thing, or I'll be washed up, Alex thought to himself as he looked at his hand. This card'll help, he thought as he pulled out a monster card. "I summon Blackwing Fane the Steel Chain in attack mode," Alex said.
Level 2/DARK/Winged Beast
ATK 500/DEF 800
"If that's all you have to attack with, then maybe you should just pull over and surrender," Greiger mocked. "No dice Greiger. Fane the Steel Chain, attack him directly!" Alex shouted. His monster threw a kunai at Greiger, striking him in the chest.

"Not a bad move, too bad it's going to be your last," Greiger said. "I wouldn't be too sure of that," Alex replied. "And why not?" Greiger asked. "Because I'm activating my monster's special ability. When it attacks you directly, it can switch one of your monsters into defense mode and keep it there until the end of my next turn, which means your Earthbound Immortal can't attack me next turn," Alex explained. "Way to go Alex!" Crow shouted. "I place one card face-down and end my turn," Alex said. "It's my move then," Greiger said.

"You may have forced my monster into defense mode, but who said he had to be in attack mode to deal out damage? By skipping his attack for the turn, you get slammed for damage equal to half his defense points," Greiger explained as the dorsal fin of his monster appeared out of the ground and headed towards Alex. "This is gonna hurt," he said. The fin collided with him, causing him to lose his balance a little bit. "Hang in there!" Yusei shouted.

"Now I summon Darksea Rescue in attack mode. And now I play the continuous trap Basara. By sacrificing one of my monsters, I can destroy a monster with a higher level and deal 800 points of damage to its controller, so I release my Darksea Rescue in order to destroy your Fane the Steel Chain," Grieger explained as a column of fire shot form his trap at Alex's monster. "If Alex doesn't stop this, he's done for!" Yusei exclaimed. "Which is why I play the Explosion Guard trap card. With it your effect is negated, and you get slammed with 500 points of damage," Alex explained as mines were launched from his trap, stopping the attack and damaging Greiger.
Greiger: 800 LP
"I should've expected a move like that from you," Grieger said. "It's my turn," Alex said. I've got one shot at this. I've got one trap left in my hand. I have to draw the right card, for Crow and everyone else whose fate is riding on this. Here goes everything, Alex thought as he drew his card before looking at it. "Just what I needed!" he exclaimed.

"I set a card face-down and summon Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North in attack mode," Alex declared.
Level 2/DARK/Winged Beast

"And due to his special ability, I can summon a level 4 or lower Blackwing from my graveyard in defense mode, like Shura the Blue Flame," Alex said. "And now I tune Fane and Shura with Blizzard in order to create Blackwing - Silverwind the Ascendant!" Alex shouted.
Level 8/DARK/Winged Beast
ATK 2800/DEF 2000
"Alright, with 2800 attack points, Alex can finish Greiger in one hit!" Yusei shouted. "Except it can't attack," Greiger said. "Why is that?" Alex asked. "Due to Chacu Challua's special ability, if it's in defense mode, you can't conduct your battle phase," Greiger explained. "In that case, I can activate Silverwind's effect. By cashing in his attack this turn, I can destroy up to two monsters whose defense is less than his attack," Alex explained. "But that means," Greiger began to say. "That your immortal is history, and so is this shadow duel. Now Silverwind, take down his Earthbound Immortal," Alex said. Silverwind raised his sword and was about to slice through Grieger's monster when the image of two children appeared inside, a boy and a girl. "Don't do this," the girl pleaded.
"Who are they?" Alex asked. "Please, help us get back to our village," the children pleaded. "Village? Wait, could you be?" Alex asked. "Enough stalling Alex, if you're not gonna finish your move, then allow me to," Greiger said as he pulled up next to him. "Greiger, look at your Earthbound Immortal," Alex said. "What are you playing at?" Greiger asked.
"There's kids up there, please just look for yourself," Yusei said. "Fine," Greiger said before turning his attention skyward. "Greiger, it's us, please help," the kids begged as more people appeared inside of it. "This can't be," Greiger said in disbelief. "Greiger, are they from your village?" Alex asked. "Yes, but why would they be inside my Earthbound Immortal? Unless, the Crimson Dragon didn't destroy my village, the Dark Signers did!" Greiger shouted.
"Greiger, now that you've figured out the truth, you have to stop this duel!" Yusei shouted. "Yusei, I'm sorry, I'll forfeit this duel so that," Greiger said before he felt a dark presence entered his mind. "You'll forfeit nothing. This is nothing but a Signer trick. They are your true enemy, so show them and their comrades no mercy, and send them all to the Netherworld," Roman's voice said.
Suddenly, Greiger's eyes glowed purple. "I'm afraid your tricks won't stop me from sending you all to the Netherworld," Greiger said. "Greiger, you have to stop!" Alex shouted. "Get out of my head!" Greiger shouted as his eyes returned to normal for a moment. "Alex, you have to finish the duel. It's the only way to release my family and friends. Don't worry about me, just save them!" Greiger shouted.
"I will," Alex promised. "Thank you," Greiger said before groaning in pain as his eyes began to glow again as he was taken over. "It's my turn, I draw!" Greiger shouted. "And I switch Chacu Challua into attack mode, now attack Alex directly!" he ordered. "Alex, I know you can win this!" Crow shouted. "This shadow duel is over!" Greiger shouted. "It will be when I activate the trap Parasite Mind. Your Earthbound Immortal may be immune to my spells and traps, but not yours. And this trap lets me take advantage of that by using the effect of your Basara for myself," Alex explained.
"Say what?!" Greiger shouted. "I sacrifice Silverwind in order to destroy your Earthbound Immortal!" Alex shouted as his monster was turned into a pillar fire and was launched at Greiger's monster, piercing through it and releasing the spirits of the people trapped inside.

Everyone stopped where they were and Greiger fell off of his duel runner. "Greiger!" Alex shouted as he ran over to the man. "Thank you Alex. Because of you, my people were able to return home," he said. "No problem, you would've done the same for me," Alex said. "Stay strong. Defeat the Dark Signers and save your family. You too Crow," Greiger said as he turned to the orange haired duelist.
"You can count on it," Crow said as he gave him a thumbs up. "Yusei, thank you for helping me to see the truth, and for freeing me from the darkness of my heart," Greiger said. "Of course," Yusei. "Stand strong, and most of all, stand together. For when you do, you hold more power than the Dark Signers ever will. Farewell my friends," Greiger said as he turned into dust and faded away.
"We won't let you down, I promise," Alex said. "You're right, we won't stop until the Dark Signers are defeated," Yusei said. Back in Greiger's village, all the people had been returned safely. "What happened sis?" Greiger's brother asked. "I think we've been saved everybody!" she shouted. "So we're home?" her brother asked. "You betcha," she said.
Just then, a shooting star flew overhead. "Check it out. That's a huge falling star," she said. "You think Greiger can see it too? He always loved watching the sky at night," her brother said. "You know what? I bet he can," she responded. Back in the Satellite, everyone had regrouped and were talking strategy. "So is Kalin next Yusei?" Crow asked. "Yes. We have some unfinished business to attend to," Yusei answered before driving off.
Hey everyone. So I had made a poll to let you all choose what I would upload after this series ended, but seeing as only one person has voted so far, I may very well just upload what I see fit. I hope you all have a great day.
