I'm hoping this is the only author's note I'll ever have to make, but I just wanted to explain some changes of plans. After thinking it over and looking at some reviews I decided to move "History of Trunks" back a bit. I did originally have a plan for them watching it early and getting spoiled on 17/18. I wanted them to hold animosity for the twin terrors at first considering what happens to a certain half-saiyan and the destruction of the world, but that would make later reactions a bit lackluster.
So, the next chapter will be "Revenge of Cooler" with "Return of Cooler" following after. The 2nd Cooler movie has no good time placement, so it will follow the first one while also spoiling Super Saiyan Vegeta. Kinda sucks, but I don't like awkward movie placement.
For the video game side-story I decided to go through with writing it. As for the game they'd be playing I've narrowed it down to two options. I honestly should've done this in the last chapter, but oh well.
1. Dragon Ball Z Kakarot: This option gives the FT cast the chance to go through the entirety of DBZ as if they were watching the show themselves while enjoying the vast world of Dragon Ball. However, it limits not just them, but you all as well to a rehash of the story.
2. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1/2: This option gives the FT cast to create their own character and explore DB outside of the story. Almost as a way for them to interact with Dragon Ball characters themselves and fight along side their favorite characters. However, they are given bits and pieces of Buu Saga, Super, and GT. With the extensive amount of things to do in both games will make posting chapters take longer, but it's still doable.
These are the games I'm considering if you do have another games that you believe are better than these two options then feel free to leave it in the reviews explaining why. Again, I apologize for those who were waiting for "History of Trunks", but please look forward to Cooler. He is my favorite movies villain and I hope not to disappoint.
