Indestructible

"Azazel? What's wrong?" Issei spoke quiet as not to alert his family.

"You remember that we have a certain prisoner here correct?" Azazel chuckled at first.

"Yea. What about it?"

"He's gone."

"WHAT?!" Issei quickly shushed himself. "Azazel, how the hell did you let him get out?!" He took a seat in the living room as he heard his two wives and children go upstairs.

A minute passed before he got an answer. "We don't know. The camera system I had in place never even bugged out. It was like…"

"You say 'magic' and I will personally kill you."

"Fine."

Issei sat in thought for a moment. "Who the Hell busted him out?"

"We don't know. However, we would like you to come down here to help." The phone clicked.

He sat on the couch with his head in his hands. Everything was just beginning to feel normal again. No baby, no pregnant wife, no monsters or evil, just nothing. Of course, something had to come up. And it had to be Valdos Kasadi of all things.

"Azazel, I'm gonna kill you." He groaned.

"Now, now. He's done so much for you in the past. Why kill him now?" The voice of his first wife came from behind him as she wrapped his arms around him.

"I'm sorry Rias. I have to go again." He went to stand but she plopped herself down on him and pushed him to the cushions.

"Nope, you're going nowhere." She giggled.

"Rias, you don't understand. Someone busted Valdos out of his prison. I have to go." He kissed her head and stood up.

She stood and followed him to the table. "I want to come too."

"I can't let you do that. Ellie needs her mother and…"

"They all need their father too you idiot!" She yelled at him.

They both stood in silence for what felt like hours. Eventually, both stood down and Issei wrapped her in his arms.

"I love you Rias. So, so, so very much." They rocked for a minute.

Rias was soon okay enough to pull back. "D-Don't be gone too long."

"I won't." A red circle opened and Issei was gone, leaving Rias to stand alone in the room with teary eyes.

"Rias?" Another voice came from the stairs.

"…"

"Are you okay?"

"…" Rias began to sob as soon as her best friend's hand reached her shoulder. "He's gone."

"He'll be back I'm sure." Akeno tried to sooth her but it wasn't working.

Rias shook her head to argue. "No. Valdos is out and Issei had gone to find him. He could… he could."

"Is he the man you love?"

"What?" Rias was shocked for a second. That was an easy question.

"Is he the man you love?" Akeno repeated.

"Of course."

"Then have faith in him. He's indestructible, remember? No matter what comes his way, he'll find a way out." They both moved to the couch and tried to calm Rias down.

"I know. But I just can't help but think that his luck has run out." She looked glumly at the floor.

Akeno giggled a bit. "He has a promise to keep to a lot of girls in this house, he won't let them down."

"I would hate for that to happen." Said a malicious voice behind them.

With Issei

Issei popped into the mansion of one Sirzechs Lucifer. He ventured through the hallways to find himself at the main meeting room. Knocking on the door, he heard a muffled summons and entered. Around the table, sat Azazel, Michael, Sirzechs, and Vali. The white dragon had not been seen since the fight with Kurata almost a year ago. Since then, he was laying low.

He took a seat next to his rival. "How ya been Vali?"

"Good. Living a quiet life waiting for you to get stronger." Vali chuckled.

"Things just got a lot less quiet." Azazel drew their attention up to the front of the room. "Kasadi was busted out yesterday evening."

Issei put his phone down on the table as it vibrated. "Hmm. A text from Asia. 'Come home please. I need your help.' Something's up."

"Do you think they got attacked?" Michael asked in his calm voice.

"It's possible." Sirzechs added. All attention was then averted to the chair left spinning as the red circle faded. Issei had gone. "Vali, do you mind helping him out?"

"Sure. Not like I have anything else going on." He too was soon gone.

Azazel shook his head. "Those two will never get along. Hopefully this little test will help him."

Michael sulked. "I still can't believe you talked us into this.

"We need to see if Issei is ready to become a high-class devil or not. This test will prove that he is strong enough to do it." Sirzechs sat at the head of the table.

"He's gonna kill us, isn't he?"

"Oh yeah."

"Totally."

Hyoudou household

Issei appeared out of the circle to find the house in shambles. He hadn't even been gone an hour and the Khaos brigade had attacked his house again. "Great. Not looking forward to cleaning this up."

"I'm sure you'll have help." Vali chuckled.

"Not now. Vali, I'm gonna ask you to stay out of this and let me handle it."

"Done." Vali made his exit.

"Kasadi, what the hell have you done with my family." Issei ventured around the house, looking for his family. The kitchen was empty, and so was the living room. The underground training room was empty as well.

"Rias!... Akeno!... Kuroka!... Asia!" He called. No response. The entire first floor was empty. The elevator brought him to the second floor, which was much cleaner. Only one thing stood out. A long jagged claw mark on the wall near his door. As he approached, a sound could be heard from inside. The sound of a baby crying.

Issei kicked the door open and found Ellie, Ewan, and Shuri all on his bed. "Don't worry, Daddy's here." He scooped up all of them and started to the door.

"Asi." Ellie spoke softly and stopped Issei in his tracks.

"What honey?"

"Asi" Ellie pointed to the far side of the bed.

Issei set his children on the floor and peered around the corner. Lying face down, was Asia Argento. Her head bashed and blood pooling on the floor. Her ring was shining from the sun. "No. NO!" He quickly pulled her up to his chest. "Asia! ASIA!"

The blonde groaned a bit. "Y-you came."

"Of course, I did. Stay with me now." Issei was tearing up. This was the third time this happened.

"It's okay, I protected them. Even if I *cough* couldn't be a mother, I still felt like one." Her own tears ran down her cheeks. "I love you Issei."

Issei cradled her close and kissed her. "I love you more Asia." After he pulled back, he noticed the light from her eyes was gone. "Asia? Asia!" Gently, he picked her up and laid her on the bed. "I'm sorry." He returned to his children and took them. He needed to get somewhere safe.

About a mile away. Valdos Kasadi was standing in triumph. He had managed to find the Red Dragon's weak point, his family. "Now Red Dragon. You shall see you precious family be slaughtered by my hands, then you will beg for death."

I'm back guys! hopefully now I can keep up. My uncle is still at my place covid stricken, but i think I can do it. Peace!
