The Elder Wolf tilted her head, looking demurely. Great…. another one. She groaned. Why can't they just?.she sniffed.
The wolf smiled gently. The hallway smelled of the outdoors, the woods, grasslands, and…
"Bathe much?" Kuroko spoke with a shake of her head. "I could've handled her… You know."
Elaina chuckled, her long tail swept across the floor…
An Elder wolves' tails are not like ordinary wild wolves or even shewolves. Nothing like the otaku beauties usually read, seen in mangas and novels or some amines. Those were short, maybe floor-length tails and fluffy. No, not at all. They were lean and powerful, more Wolf than human. They may stand as tall as an elephant to as small as an enormous wolf. They, she, stood nearly 7 feet in height, not including her large ears, barely scratching the ceiling. Wearing light grey colored armor, a favorite outfit of all wolves, besides nudity, or in their Wolf form. Speed… Speed kills. And they did. Claws and fangs sliced and gutted their prey. It didn't matter to an elder Wolf. You may have been comrades before… But wolves hired themselves out as mercenaries throughout their history. Fighting and killing your sister or brother was entirely possible.
They had a streak of Independence, and it made them hard to control. And some decided that had to be changed. During the brutality of wars, Some of the vilest of the Vampiric overlords ordered them to be tied down onto rape stands and taken over and over by males. To give birth and rebred. to change and bred out the independent streak many carried. Many strived to escape and make their way to the free wolves' territories. If caught, paid a hefty price. And with the breeding tells signs of the elder wolf remained.
She was the apex of the breeding—one of the few lefts.
Her long rope-like tail slowly lifted and curled in a come here motion. Kuroko smirked, watching the playful movement. Beware, she remembered. That tail can hurt, even kill. But it also hinted at how they were feeling, happy, sad, angry, romantic. Or it could be lying to you.
"You and she were evenly matched," Elaina spoke. She was one not to mix her words. "That one is old and has too much experience for you. You… Maybe quicker, but…"She shrugged, rolling her eyes. She sighed, "oh… no, You're quicker…" She crossed her arms over her voluptuous breast with a shake of her head.
Kuroko closed her eyes. Wolves fought in packs. She knew that. And when she spoke, she was increasing the odds in their favor. Letting the vampire know she had her back.
"Nothing wrong with it…" She puffed out her chest without a shred of shame. The armor stretched the fabric, straining, making little noises.
"So," Kuroko knew it was all right but being here in this place. It made her feel a little unsure or undeserving.
"Beeeeeeecaaaaauuuuuse…" Elaina could read her like a light novel. She groaned slightly. Kuroko spoke, "I didn't think that… Maybe after… You know…"
"It doesn't matter what road you take, what way you choose, as long as you feel you are right." Elaina cocked her right brow, her eyes thinner, "live honorably, treat others fairly. And I will kill you honorably." She ended with a smile.
"Nice one," Kuroko smirked. "Make that up yourself. Sounds more like…"
"Yeah, It's one of his." A weak smile made its way across her face, and her dark eyes glimmered in a sad past.
"Figures… Anyway… Why?"
"Well," Elaina dropped her head, "since you didn't come to see us… I thought I'd greet you here. You know, like a welcoming party."
"And try to make me feel guilty…"
"And that, of course."
"Even after…"
"Remember the last conversation," she answered with a raised right brow. "And I will add this… I'm sure you had personal things to deal with." Her voice softened, barely hiding her emotions. "Some deal with grief one way and others their way. The fact you didn't…"
"I couldn't… I just couldn't come." With a shake of her head, she closed her eyes and bit her lower lip. "She was, and… I was… But they didn't, and "I couldn't attend the…" She clenched her fist tighter. her words and stomach twisting painfully.
"Do you want me to smack you?" Elaina tapped the floor with the tip of her blunt tail, "not too hard… Maybe you'll enjoy it, or maybe you'll end up at the end of the hallway bounce of a few walls." She nodded quickly, blew out a breath. "I came to greet one of the four who helped us when we needed it. What you and uiharu, ruiko and…. Mikoto did, helped many of us on that day. We said you earned a position in the packs… And that never changes. So, since you didn't step off the path into the woods, I chose to see my friend." She sighed, slipped her head to the other side, and glared, "And it was obvious you needed help in escorting you to your meeting… Dumb ass…"
A pitiful look crossed Elaina's face. "So, are we good?"
"Yeah…" Kuroko whispered slowly, sorrowfully shaking her head.
"Oh, by the way…"
"hmmm…"
"I think I know why that vampire was really interested in you.?"
"Why?"
"You reeeeaaaalllllly stink like a vampire." She covered her nose and mouth, "and I didn't figure you for a fang banger." Shaking her head. "eeewwwwww."
"I'm not!" She growled, snapped her finger up. "Samantha lied to me… And… and… Oh, forget it," she snapped, "let's go. You'll keep saying it… damn shewolves!"
"Phew... did you roll on something dead? Are you sure you don't want to take a bath first… Stinky." She took the door handle, "or do you want me to lick you?" exposed her facetious grin wiggled her tongue. Making room as kuroko walked by. "Keep that tail and tongue to yourself, Elaina…"
"Whaaattt, are you talking about?" she feigned ignorance.
She shut the door behind them, drop her head near kuroko shoulder, and whispered, "stinky."
And with that, her long tail slipped into the air, curled, and snapped like a whip. Pain rolled through Kuroko's ass.
"oooouuuuuuchhhhh!" The hallway echoed in her painful cry.
"That's not for visiting… Fang banger…" Elaina laughed. Kuroko grumbled, rubbing her butt as she walked down the hallway. The searing pain reminded her of the elder wolves' justice.
