Hunter X Hunter Trailer
"Look I'm not a big fan of them but I'm pretty sure the term for them is Huntsmen." Roman said to Bill.
"No, it's Hunter." Bill repeated.
"Why do you think it's hunter!?" Weiss asked.
"Because in this universe, things are done differently." Bill said as he fiddled with his remote "Huntsmen are referred to as Hunters here."
"Then why didn't you flippin' say so!?" Glynda exclaimed.
"We've been arguing about it for 5 minutes straight and you decide to enlighten us now with that information!?" Winter exclaimed.
Bill shrugged "I wanted to make some conversation."
"Why I oughta…" Roman growled as he rolled up his sleeve.
"Anyway, let's start!" Bill announced as he teleported to his seat and started the universe.
The universe began by showing a vast misty forest then red eyes glowed within some bushes.
"Ominous start but I'm digging the guitar." Yang said as she bobbed her head to the rhythm.
A large tree was shown during the day and on top of a long branch on the tree sat Oscar who was focused on fishing with a large leaf on his head and more leaves on top and some leaves on his shoulders as small forest critters surrounded him.
"How still are you?" Ruby asked in surprise.
Oscar chuckled "I was taught to stay extremely calm and extremely still when fishing so I could always get the best bite."
"The fact that birds turned you head into a nest means you've been there for hours." Taiyang said.
"So you stayed still in that position for hours? I need that kind of patience." Blake said.
"Why?" Velvet asked.
Blake pointed at her team and Velvet sweat dropped at the fact that both Ruby and Yang were poking Weiss on both sides of her cheeks while she looked ready to blow a gasket at any minute.
"Are you sure about this?" Amber asked worriedly.
"Yeah." Oscar replied determinedly.
"When you were just a baby, your father abandoned you to be a Hunter." Amber said as Oscar perked up when his bait bobbed in the water "You know that don't you?"
"What kind of scumbag would do that?" Saphron asked.
"What's my connection with him?" Amber wondered.
"He did?" Summer asked sadly
"Don't know," Oscar said with a shrug "I never met my parents."
Yang folded her arms "I know the feeling."
"I apologized didn't I?" Raven asked.
"Yeah you did but still want my birthday money." Yang said.
"How much birthday money?" Vernal asked.
"A thousand for each year." Raven said with a sigh.
"Seriously!? Your daughter's a swindler to the highest degree!" Sienna exclaimed in shock.
Raven nodded as she gave them a thumbs up and a proud smile "I'm so proud."
"I do." Oscar stated as a large crab-fish was shown with people from around town gathered to see it.
"Oscar really did it, he actually caught the master!" A fisherman exclaimed within the crowd as Amber stared at it in worry.
"What kind of fish is that!?" Emerald exclaimed.
"Don't know but it looks delicious." Nora drooled as she stared at the fish.
"Is he my son or something?" Amber asked as she was confused at the relationship she had with Oscar.
"Pray to Oum you're not his lover." Glynda said dully.
"Some of us were not so lucky." Robyn said as she shivered
"I wanna find out why it was so important to my dad!" Oscar stated as he was shown reeling the master in with a determined roar as he pulled it out of the water "That's why I gotta do it!"
"So he's becoming a Hunter to find his father?" Oobleck asked.
"Seems to be the case." Clover said.
"At least it's not a bullshit reason like saving the world from some kind of demon lord or that junk." Mercury said.
"Hey, I wanna save the world from some kind of demon lord!" Ruby exclaimed.
"My point exactly." Mercury said as he rolled his eyes.
"He's strong for a kid." Ironwood said.
"I promise you I'll pass the exam," Oscar stated to Amber as they made a pinkie promise and he ran off with his backpack "The next time you see me, I will be a Hunter."
"It's not gonna be easy." Qrow said in amusement.
Taiyang chuckled "Yeah, like that's gonna stop him."
"He reminds me so much like Ruby, it's scary." Yang said with wide eyes.
Ruby smiled and gave him a thumbs up "You can do it!"
Oscar grinned "Thanks!"
Whitley pat him on the back "I believe in your other self."
"This is actually starting to make me consider being a Huntsman." Oscar said.
A GREAT ADVENTURE BEGINS
A ship was shown in a storm as the waves were powerful and lightning struck in the background.
"There are as many Hunter wannabees in this world as there are stars in the sky." Port stated as he was shown sailing the ship.
"Living out your dreams as a sea captain eh?" Oobleck chuckled.
"I have done so already, you see back when…" Port started to tell his tale and at this point everyone was just tuning him out.
"I'm called Yang." Yang said as she stood across a familiar man in a suit as they stood on the ships deck during the storm.
"The name is Roman." Roman stated as he stared back at Yang.
"I want to be a Hunter!?" Roman shouted in disgust.
"Oh great, no I gotta tolerate this guy!?" Yang shouted.
"Tolerate? No, no, you don't tolerate me, I tolerate you!" Roman said as he pointed between him and Yang.
"Don't point at me!" Yang shouted.
"I can point at you whenever I want! My body, my choice!" Roman exclaimed as he put his finger in front of her.
Yang slapped his finger away as she started pointing in his face "Take that! How does this feel!?"
Roman slapped her finger away as she slapped his away and now the two of them had started a slapping matching while throwing insults at each other.
"Children!" Salem shouted which stopped them "Shall we get you a crib so you can sort out your differences in a ring befitting you?"
Everyone held in their laughs as Roman and Yang backed off from each other whilst still glaring though.
"That's where people like come in to pick up the slack." Port stated as Oscar was shown helping steady the sails and looking on in shock as a man flew off because of the winds.
"The ocean man, literal hell on earth." Neptune said in fear.
"So that guy's dead." Emerald said as Cinder and Mercury nodded in agreement.
"The Hunter Exam has already started." Port stated as Yang and Roman looked at him in shock.
"It has!?" They both exclaimed.
A TEST UNLIKE ANY OTHER
"Ugh, I hate tests." Yang groaned.
"But this looks better than Professor Ozpin's entrance exam at least." Jaune said.
"I guess you're right, so far it's just surviving a storm which is pretty easy." Pyrrha said.
Qrow chuckled "Tell that to the guy that got a one way trip to heaven."
"All four hundred and four applicants will now participate in phase one." Oobleck announced as a large group was shown in a large tunnel, then they were shown running after Oobleck who ran like he was on a brisk walk.
"So the storm wasn't even part of the test?" Pyrrha asked in surprise.
"There are phases to this!? Oh I would so fail!" Nora exclaimed.
"A running test? Pshh, easy." Yang said with a smirk.
"Nothing seems to be deadly so I guess this a good test." Glynda said with a shrug.
"I doubt things are gonna stay so calm for that long." Watts said.
"Why do you wanna be a Hunter?" Yang asked as Roman was shown sweating as he ran "Is it really just about the money?"
"Sorry but I don't have some big noble cause like you do." Roman responded as Yang looked down.
"People have their own reasons for doing things Yang, all we can do is respect that." Taiyang advised.
"Yeah, even if he is a jerk." Yang said as she sighed "This version of him doesn't seem that bad…I guess."
"Doing it for the money? Yeah that is definitely Roman!" Roman shouted with a smirk.
"You look like you're struggling there Torchwick." Cinder said with a smirk.
"Yeah physical things are not my strong suit." Roman admitted as he rolled his eyes.
"My name's Whitley." Whitley said as he ran with Oscar.
Oscar smiled "Hi, I'm Oscar!"
WHO WILL PASS?
"Nice to meet you Oscar." Whitley said as he laughed.
Oscar laughed as well "You too Whitley."
"Fast friends I see." Winter stated as the boys looked up at her fearfully but then she smiled and nodded "I approve."
"I don't!" Jacques shouted.
"It's cute you think I care." Winter said as Jacques glared at her.
"Now why do you boys wanna become Hunters?" Port asked Oscar, Yang and Roman.
"My entire clan was annihilated by a band of criminals." Yang stated as she stabbed the top of a dinosaur's head and dodged a hit from large, blue man.
"She's out for revenge?" Raven asked with a smirk "Good."
"No not good, Yang revenge is a one-way street that you don't ever come back from." Taiyang said to her.
"O-okay…" Yang said as she nodded nervously at how serious her dad's face was.
Raven rolled her eyes "She said her entire clan, meaning you, me, Summer, Ruby and maybe Qrow."
"Gee, feeling the love sis!" Qrow shouted.
"I know but what would chasing after them accomplish besides endangering her life and those around her?" Taiyang asked.
"She's a big girl, she'll learn to live with her consequences after she did what she has to do." Raven said.
Ruby and Yang watched them argue back and forth and ate popcorn as they were enjoying it until Bill threw his remote which hit Raven on the head and flew back to his hands.
"Ow! What'd I do?" Raven asked as she held her head in pain.
"Marital arguments later, universe now." Bill stated as Raven rubbed her head and looked back at the screen along with Taiyang.
"Justice not vengeance." Ren said seriously.
"Ren?" Nora asked.
Ren shook his head and smiled "Nevermind, just talking to myself."
"Not such a noble cause, is it?" Melanie asked.
Roman chuckled "Guess not."
"That is why I want to become a Hunter." Yang stated as he eyes turned red and she grabbed the blue man and threw him to the ground.
"You know it's a suicide mission right?" Port asked.
WHO WILL FALL?
"Thank you!" Taiyang exclaimed as Raven rolled her eyes.
"Thanks for the motivation professor," Yang said dully "Really appreciate it."
"I can tell you a story on how I hunted down a whole pack of beowolves with just a toothpick, that is a great motivation!" Port stated proudly.
Yang shook her head quickly "No thank you!"
"This Yang will be going down a dark path." Ozpin said seriously.
"Maybe this universe is not as bright and sunny as I thought." Qrow said.
"Keep in mind that there's a very real chance you could end up seriously injured," Oobleck stated as Oscar, Whitley, Yang and Roman were shown being chased by giant pigs as a man looked down to see many people had fallen down a spike trap and giant winged monsters flew towards a man rock climbing.
"Nothing our rag tag group can't handle, right fellas?" Yang asked as she put her arms over Roman's, Whitley's and Oscar's shoulders.
"Sure whatever you say…" Roman drawled out as he rolled his eyes.
Oscar blushed "S-sure…"
"Unhand me!" Whitley exclaimed.
"Chill Ice Prince, have a sense of comradery." Yang stated with a smile.
"Ice Prince!?" Whitley exclaimed.
"You get used to it." Weiss said with a sigh.
"Death is another distinct possibility." Oobleck added as Roman was shown roaring in determination as he ran to hit Neo who was just smiling at him and as he hit her, she dispersed into smoke. "The Hunter Exam isn't the time or place for showing mercy."
Neo silently giggled as she wrote 'Catch me if you can~'
Roman sighed as he shook his head "You give me several reasons to hit you but you know I'd never do that."
'I know.' Neo wrote with a smile as she took his hat and put it on.
Whitley was shown kicking Ozpin as Oscar lit a candle with a man while Neo was fighting a man who tried to cut her with his blades.
"Letting kids beat you up Oz?" Qrow asked with a smirk.
"Boost of morale." Ozpin answered with his own smirk.
"This Neo sends off some weird vibes." Emerald said.
"You said it." Mercury said.
Cinder rolled her eyes "It's Neo, she always sends off weird vibes."
Cinder ducked as a pencil lodged itself to the wall near her while Neo gave Cinder a crazed grin and glare as she took her pencil back.
"Promise you'll come home safe," Amber said as a large man was shown holding his hand forward while Whitley glided past him with a deadly serious look and Oscar was shown jumping through the woods "Think you can do that for me?"
"Yup!" Oscar replied as he was falling and launched the line of his fishing rod forward as he, Yang and Roman were shown walking together "I sure can!"
HUNTER X HUNTER
"Hunter x hunter?" Weiss asked.
"It's actually pronounced Hunter, Hunter." Bill said as he teleported to the front "The X is silent."
"Oh, okay." Weiss nodded in understanding.
"So what'd you guys think?" Bill asked.
"Less heavy than the last one and very enjoyable." Ironwood stated with an approving nod.
"I liked seeing myself participating in one of these, it was quite a surprise." Whitley said with a smile.
"I enjoyed seeing my daughter aim to fulfill her duty and avenge her clan, not many have the will to do that." Raven said with a smile.
God raven coughed and said "Sasuke!" in between coughs.
"And working with Roman may be a pain but at least that one's got a goal that's technically not illegal, so I respect him." Yang said.
Roman laughed "Yeah I doubt that opinion of me is gonna stick."
Yang sighed "What's next?"
"We're going back to familiar territory this time and seeing the adventures of one lucky man." Bill said as he chuckled "And as the saying goes, there's no honor among thieves."
