In a dreadful and foreboding realm is where a dark figure resided in. A figure that was currently sitting in a large throne that floated above the floor of the large castle that they took shelter in, but their outward appearance would one think they were merely human and nothing more. Sitting upon the throne was a being that had immense power. Power that is beyond imagining, enough to make men tremble in fear and drop to their knees.
They had blue spiky hair, with a dark blue vest over their muscular physique with belts across it, with their eyes closed.
This was Jesse Anderson. A student from the famous Duel Academy, and wielder of the Crystal Beasts. However Jesse was no longer himself, not anymore. Right now his body was being used by the duel spirit Yubel.
Yubel had taken possession of Jesse in the hopes of luring in the one person she so desperately wants to meet; Jaden Yuki. The same boy who she grew to adore but was left and abandoned many years ago when she caused pain to his friends when he was a child, forcing him to send her off into space.
Right now we find ourselves in Jesse's mind, filled with darkness and showing a figure of the boy himself chained against a wall by his arms and legs. Jesse was struggling with all his might trying desperately to free himself. But the chains were too strong. "Agh! Let me go now!" He exclaimed while tugging on the chains.
"Now now Jesse, you're only wasting your strength." Jesse looks up and glares as Yubel was slowly descending before him. "After all, there's so much for us to do." She said as she landed and slowly walked over to him.
"What do you want now? Gloat some more? Make fun of me? I've heard it all."
"Oh Jesse, you really need to learn how to relax, especially since you can't do a thing." Yubel said with a mocking smirk.
"Oh yeah? Unhook these chains off me and see what happens!" Jesse snarls while tugging as hard as he could, but the chains wouldn't budge.
She wagged her finger while walking around him with amusement. "That's never happened before, and it never will, not while your body is under my control." she chuckled while dragging her claws lightly against the wall. "Trying to fight against me is useless Jesse."

Jesse's eyes widened as the screens showed mostly him and Jaden hanging out, dueling, or just paling around. One scene revealed an event where Jesse gazed at Jaden with loving eyes while hiding in the shadows and a small blush forming on his cheeks.
"You harbor deep feelings for young Jaden, but you don't know how to express those feelings."
"T-That's all a lie! You're just making things up to mess me up!" Jesse denies. His face turning even brighter with his heart starting to pound over the images that Yubel showed him.
The she-demon only chuckles. "You're lying~" She sang. "You may say I'm lying but your body tells me otherwise." she raised her hand up, which began to show more memories, but these ones were far, FAR more risque.

And Jesse sees the younger Jaden being forced to send Yubel away and undergoing psychiatric treatments to keep him from the nightmares and visions that Yubel would send to him.
"He left me! He got rid of me like I was trash!" seethe Yubel who turned away from Jesse who could tell she was tearing up from the tone in her voice. "All I did was do my job to protect him, but he left me to suffer all alone!"
"Jaden's not that kind of guy!" spoke up Jesse with a frown, making Yubel glare at him. "He had a good reason to do that. You took it too far and he had no other reason. If you really cared, you would have understood his side of things and talked to him."
"SHUT UP! Shut up shut up shut up!" Yubel cried out loudly which echoed in the void. The monster woman held her head low as her body was trembling, and a few tears were falling. "...You have no idea... no idea at all how I felt about this. To be cast out into space and then sudden forgotten by the very boy I adored... The very boy who I loved so much..."
Jesse watched, in the back of his mind feeling pity for her, and saw her turn to him before giving a cruel grin.
"And that's why I'll show him how much I truly love him, by making him feel the pain I felt all those years ago!"
Jesse's eyes went wide with panic and thrashes in the chains. "You out of your mind?! YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO HIM!"
"You're right, I can't, but WE can." she smirked sadistically as Jesse glared before she turned away from him with a surprised expression as she looked out into the darkness before it turned to a smirk. "Well well, feels like Jaden himself is coming, perfect."
"JADEN! GET OUT OF HERE NOW!" Jesse cried out as loudly as he could, but sadly it was for naught.
Yubel smirked before vanishing, the camera panning back outside the body as Jesse's body stirred and opened its eyes, showing Yubel's eyes as she got up from the chair and climbed down, looking across the large room and seeing Jaden entering the room, but his hair shadowing his eyes as he stayed there. "Well well well, and here I thought you wouldn't show up."
Jaden didn't respond, didn't even look like he heard her.
"You know it's rather rude to not even say hello to an old friend, my dear Jaden~" She smirked with Jesse's voice. "So you decided to come without that squirt beside you?"
"I came without Syrus because this is personal." Jaden said with a hard gaze. "I'm only gonna tell you this once; lets Jesse go now. This is between you and me!"
"Oh? Is that the only thing you have to say?" Yubel smirked with a chuckle. "If you truly think you can force me out of your friend, you're dead wrong. Because there's something he and I have a LOT in common."
"Then I guess I have no choice." Jaden looked up at her, his eyes shown to be golden and cold as an aura of darkness rose up and swirled around him, surprising Yubel momentarily before smirking.
"You think using the Supreme King's power will be enough against me? It was thanks to me you even became that way." she held out Jesse's hand before letting out a purple blast which hit the darkness, but it dispelled around the aura as Jaden began to slowly walk towards her, making her go wide eyed. "What?!"
"Don't make me repeat myself, Yubel, let Jesse go now!" Jaden snarled with his voice distorted from his powers awakening from within.
"Never! I'll make you feel the pain I feel! And I'll use your dear friend's body to do it!" cackled Yubel exerting more power, making the blast grow and push Jaden back slightly, but he kept pushing forward and got closer and closer as the dark aura grew more and more.
Jaden gritted his teeth as he forced his way towards Yubel in the hopes of freeing Jesse, but as he came closer he noticed Jesse's body was engulfed in darkness, so much so he couldn't even see him anymore.
"Fall! Fall down!" roared out Yubel who was secretly feeling fear the closer Jaden got with her seeing his eyes giving off an unearthly glow that made her break out into a sweat.
"I said! Let him GO!" Jaden's arm lashed out, grabbing the wrist and tugging Jesse's body over before his other hand lashed out and grabbed onto Jesse's head, causing the darkness to swirl around them as Yubel's eyes went wide open with her feeling a sensation pushing itself into the mind.
'This...this feeling...it feels...s-s-so good~' she thought before the camera zoomed into the mind, showing Jesse staring in shock as he saw Jaden appear in the space.
Jesse was surprised to see the dark powers Jaden had used to push Yubel back, so much so he felt his heart starting to pound like a drum, and his cheeks gaining a healthy shade of pink.
"Jesse, are you alright?"
Jaden asked as the dark aura around him seemed to calmed down a bit.

Jaden looks over his shoulder and narrows his eyes. "Give me one good reason why I should!"
She glared at him, but when she lunged at him, she found herself suddenly restrained by numerous chains made out of darkness. "AGGHH! RELEASE ME NOW!"
Jaden ignored her order and managed to break the binds off Jesse, allowing him to stand on his feet as he rubbed his wrists with relief.

"No problem Jesse." Jaden said with a smile before turning to glare at Yubel. "We're leaving. And I'm taking Jesse back with me."
"NO! You can't do this!" roared Yubel struggling against the chains. "I won't let you leave me all alone again!"
"I'm sorry Yubel. But you hurt one of my friends, and I won't stand for that." spoke Jaden with a frown as he walked towards her with her gritting her teeth, the duelist standing right in front of her.
"That's a joke coming from you! You're the one who made me feel nothing but isolation and pain for years!"
Jaden blinked twice before his eyes glowed and suddenly dove inside Yubel's mind. At first there was nothing but darkness until it all changed when he found himself in what appeared to be a castle of sorts. He walked towards it where he heard speaking coming from a nearby hallway. Jaden walks through the hallway and into a large room, from what he could tell it looked like it belonged to those of royalty, and before him were two people talking to one another.
"Yubel you can't go through with this!"
"But my prince, you know this must be done!"
The first one talking was a young boy who resembled Jaden in a sense, other than the blue clothing and red cape he had on with his hair lacking bangs that draped down Jaden's cheeks.
And the other, to Jaden's surprise, was none other than Yubel herself! Except she was more human than what she is now. Her hair was dark blue, more tame than wild and wore dark blue clothing.
"Please Yubel, reconsider it!" The prince pleaded, trying to get Yubel to see reason, while Jaden walked up behind the young prince.
He raised his hand out, only for it to go right through the prince, noting he was translucent.
"My prince, you know as well as I do that if it can grant me the power to keep you safe. I'm willing to go through with it." spoke the human Yubel with a determined expression.
"But if you go through with this, you can never change back."
"...That's a price I'm willing to pay."
Jaden was surprised as the prince looked at Yubel with worry before hugging the person. The scene then switched to a whole different room, one where Yubel was strapped to a stone bed with four men looming over her.
"We shall begin with the ceremony."
"Bring forth the heart."
"Heart?" muttered Jaden in confusion.
His question was answered when another man wheeled in a chart, carrying a darkish blue almost black heart, a heart that continued beating and radiated power. The man brought it over to Yubel who was shackled with a cloth covering their eyes.
Jaden's eyes went wide when he saw the heart beside Yubel. They were gonna transplant a dragon's heart into a human girl?!
"The process will be done in a moment's time."
"Once you gain the heart you will no longer be human. But something else entirely."
"I understand. I won't back away." spoke Yubel with a firm tone.
The leading man nods before turning to his colleagues. "Let the procedure begin." They all began to chant in an ancient tone, the heart glowing along with Yubel who gritted their teeth.
Jaden watched with wide eyes and his jaw slightly hanging, as his ears were assaulted by the agonized screams from Yubel as the heart was being transplanted into her body. When it seeped into her all the way, her body was covered in a brighter glow.
The men took a step back as the light grew intense and Yubel's body freed from her restraints, floated in the air as her body began to shift.
She let out a louder yell as Jaden's eyes widened, watching as Yubel's body began to shift and transform right before him. When the light faded it revealed Yubel in her new monstrous form. The same Yubel that he knew all too well. She lowered back down onto the table, slowly opening her eyes.
Jaden gazed at the now transformed Yubel before the memory shifted again, this time on a balcony where Yubel was stargazing.
She was looking at the dark sky, flexing her new claws with her wings twitching.
Jaden then noticed someone coming out from the shadows and saw the prince walking towards the dragon woman.
"Yubel..." The prince spoke out, getting her attention. "Are...are you really...ok?"
"Yes, I'm just trying to get used to all this." she admitted as he stood next to her.
The prince was silent. Still trying to take all of this in, the fact that Yubel would go this far to give up her humanity, just to protect him at all times. "How does it feel?"
"It feels...odd...and yet...magnificent at the same time." she admitted before the prince put his hand on hers, making her turn to him in surprise. "My prince?"
"Yubel, I promise I'll make it up to you." He said while taking her hand with both. "I swear that no matter what...you'll always be precious to me."
Yubel's eyes widened as the prince looked her right in the eyes. "My prince..."
Jaden's eyes slightly widened by the prince's words and just before he knew it, the memories changed once more before his eyes. This time the area looked far different. It was a smaller area that felt confined, with metal walls and hardly any room for a person to fit in. Jaden heard the sounds of whimpers and sobs echo in the metal room. He saw Yubel curled up with her arms around her knees and wings covering her body, she shook as she cried to herself while slightly rocking back and forth.
"Why Jaden...why did you do this to me...?" Yubel whimpered softly, her tears ran down her eyes like a broken dam, while Jaden felt a stinging sensation running through his heart from her tone. "I kept you safe...I was always with you...but you...you...you..." Yubel's body started shaking more violently as it was covered in a dark aura. "...you...you...ABANDONED ME!"
Jaden stepped back as Yubel's eyes were filled with hatred while feeling the atmosphere in the enclosed space become suffocating.
"I devoted my life to you. My whole body and soul to forever be by your side... AND THEN YOU CAST ME OUT AS THOUGH I WAS NOTHING TO YOU!" she roared out as the veins around her vein seemed to bulge to show the tension with Jaden feeling each word hit him in the heart. "And just for that... I WILL MAKE YOU SUFFER FOR THIS BETRAYAL!"
Jaden felt a tugging sensation and went flying back before he realized he was back inside the mindscape. Yubel hanged her head low, still bound by magic to keep her from attacking him.
Jesse looked at Jaden confused as said male had tears running down his cheeks with him staring at the creature. "Jaden? What's wrong?"
Jaden was silent as Yubel looked up at him with a glare. "Yubel..."
"What? Are you going to hit me? Give me physical scars? Or maybe you-"
"I'm sorry." he spoke before hugging the duel spirit, catching her and Jesse off guard with the former feeling the tight grip and feeling something wet land on her shoulder. "I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry...for everything..."
Yubel and Jesse were stunned speechless. The former more so than the latter who tried to tug and break free while shaking her head.

Yubel stared at him in shock, feeling like she was looking at the translucent form of the prince saying all this. "...stop it...stop lying to me..." she muttered, feeling herself tear up and bite her lip.
"I'm not. I really AM sorry, for everything!" Jaden said while slowly rubbing his hands on her back, tears falling from his eyes like waterfalls. "If I had kept my promise, then...all of this could have been avoided."
Jesse watched this play out before him. He could hear the sincerity in Jaden's words, those were the words of a man who genuinely and truly cares for the distraught she-monster.
Yubel bit her lip harder before the binds on her vanished, letting her bring her arms around Jaden, but she just closed her eyes and started sobbing against him. "M-My Jaden...my sweet...sweet Jaden..."
Jesse watched the scene, feeling sad, but also happy.

After some more time of crying, Jaden and Yubel wiped at their eyes.
"Alright, now that we got that out of the way, we can try and fix this without fighting." remarked Jaden. "Yubel, will you please give Jesse his body back?"
Yubel seemed a little hesitant at first. Considering that she wasn't the only one who loved Jaden, she did however have a little plan that could work in her favor. "I could, but...I think Jesse here has something to tell you."
Jaden blinked before turning to Jesse who looked really nervous and backed away a little. "What is it?"
