The Doctor could have helped. He could use the TARDIS to show RWBY what would happen if they make their choices or warn them about incoming doom. Ironwood might be harder to help. As for Harriet, he could have used his sonic screwdriver to stop the bomb.
I'm not sure about the siege of Mandalore. Blasts might diminish Aura, and Mandalorians could fly out of their way. As for the Skirmish of the Tribunal, Ruby and Weiss could help there. Their Semblances would be very helpful.
I have wondered the same thing myself. I have tried to change Cinder's character because I knew her having a father figure and leaving the hotel would change her personality. I mean, she was happy when Rhodes came and trained her. So, I think canon Cinder might be jealous about The Way of the Maiden Cinder having a better life. I don't know if The Way of the Maiden Cinder would try to help her, but she might emphasize with canon Cinder.
