In the Demon Realm, bodies of Nathaniel's soldiers littered the floor. RJ pulled her knife from one of the corpses and wiped the blood from it.
"I haven't had that much fun in almost three years." RJ said, turning to the guards, "I think we're finally getting somewhere with you maggots."
RJ, Eda, Lilith, the guards, even King managed to hold them off thanks to a special spell RJ knew of. Now with them gone, all they had to do was wait for Alex to return with Luz. At least... they hope he returns. They gathered around the portal, waiting on who will come out. The portal opened and Alex limped in, followed by the Princess. Sighs of relief were heard and Luz instantly ran to her mom. Luz hugged Camila and the mother and daughter were wrapped up in emotion.
"I missed you Mami!"
"I missed you too, Mija." Camila said.
"Yeah, I'm bleeding out, thanks for asking." Alex said, "You look like you had some fun RJ."
"I'm the best assassin of all time, of course I have fun killing people." RJ said.
Alexander looked at Luz.
"Let's get you to Medical Wing." He said.
They walked towards the medical wing and Luz broke the silence.
"So, you're sure the spell worked?"
"As far as anyone remembers, they blacked out after the explosion." Alex said.
"A-a-and my friends?"
"Well, the blonde one-"
"Tracey." Luz said.
"Yes her. She'll be fine. Demons are incredibly powerful and she'll be healed within the day. The black haired girl-"
"Heather."
"She is a harder one to explain. Vampires don't typically heal from a stake to the heart. She, however, is clearly different. I've alerted her parents and they said they'll be able to take care of it."
Luz stayed quiet for a couple minutes before curiosity got the best of her.
"How did you know he was there?"
"That would be your cousins doing. Emelina sent her father a message while I was talking to him about what Nathaniel did. Of course, he told me instantly and I made my way over as soon as possible." He noticed Luz was having a hard time walking, "Okay, Missy. Come on."
He picked her up and ignored his own pain. Be brought her in and placed her in a bed.
"I'll go get the Healer. Try not to move too much."
He left and Luz laid her head on the pillow.
"So..." Luz looked over to the bed a few yards away from hers, "What're you in for?"
Luz smiled and laughed a little.
"Hi, Boscha."
"Wow, you look like shit." Boscha said.
"Well, you don't look like a super model." Luz said, with a chuckle, "I missed you Boscha."
"I missed you too, Princess. You happy to be back in a castle and not a slum?"
"My uncles house is not a slum." Luz said.
"Luz, you live in a castle, compared to this place, the White House looks like a slum."
"Um, how do you know the White House?"
"I have had a broken back and been bed ridden for nearly four months. The only thing the Healer's bring me are human world books that your dad has collected. I have read through and memorized everything in a twelfth grade history text book."
"So, what have I missed?" Luz asked.
"A lot." Boscha said, removing one of several pink feathers from her hair, "Good thing we have time."
A few months later, Luz was putting the final touch on Violet's wing.
"There we go, all fixed." Luz said.
She heard a knock on the door and looked over towards her door.
"You ready for this?" Emily asked.
Luz stood up and dusted off her white and gold colored dress.
"How do I look?"
Emily looked over Luz and made a spell circle and a small crown appeared on Luz's head and a white cape, that matched her father's, appeared on her shoulders.
"There, like a proper Princess." Emily said, "Just missing one thing."
She attached a small gold locket around Luz's neck. Luz opened it and saw her, Emily, Tracey, and Heather from when they first met at the amusement park.
"That was something Tracey wanted to give you before you left, but... well, you know."
"Yeah, I do." Luz said, "Shall we?"
"No, you shall. This is your moment, you are Luz Belos; Princess of the Boiling Isles. I'm only Lady Noceda, second in line for the throne."
Luz smiled and walked to the door. She smiled when she heard her introduction. She opened the door and walked out onto the balcony and joined her parents. Her father decided that, since Nathaniel was dead, there was no reason for Luz to hide anymore. It was time for the Demon Realm to see the entire Belos family. Inside, Emily was texting, the past few months were... confusing. Her parents decided that she should go stay at her Uncle's castle and study at Hexside to... further her magic. Emily thought it was mostly because they were tired of her fire spell setting the curtains. The best part, they spoke with Heather's parents and Tracey's mom, and they decided to send them to a place that can help teach them how to control their powers.
"You guys excited to start at Hexside?" Emily typed.
"The real question is, are you excited to be close to your little crush?" Tracey responded.
"... Shut up."
"Don't piss her off Trace, she'll get your ass thrown in the dungeon." Heather texted.
"How are you feeling Heather?" Emily asked.
"You've been asking me that for weeks. My answer is always the same."
"Well, you got stabbed through the heart."
"And my parents healed me. I'm fine." Heather texted, "I'm pretty excited about going to the Demon Realm. It'll be nice to see where my dad's from."
Changing school isn't the only reason they were excited about going to the Isles. They had their own plans for when they got there, they were going to track down their grandparents.
And thus, we've reached the end of this story. Now, I'm not going to do it yet, but I have plans for stories revolving around Heather, Tracey, and Emily. Any final questions, leave them in the review and I'll post a chapter going over them. Just... review, I guess, there's no more point to follow the story... you can follow me though! Do that!
