This is coming out a lot later than I had planned. The fight was giving me a somewhat of a hard time. I wanted it to be good, so I had to plan it and write it on paper first. I had to finish the chapter over the weekend.
Also, not next week, but the week after, this isn't getting an update. I want to update 'Natsu Hates it When Zeref is Bored' next and then update 'Our Shinigami Brother'. So this will be updated again in three weeks from now.
Okay, so the next fight is with Jura. Now in canon Jura fights Jellal, but since he's not part of Team B, I was going to have Harry fight him. Problem, Harry already fought earlier, so I have to change it to someone else. You'll see who it is in the chapter. Enjoy.
PS: Make your guess on how many chapters you think will be in this fanfic by the time it's done. ;)

recap: The magic sped toward Flare in a tremendous attack. It hit its intended target as well as the ground, making it hard to see the effect the spell had caused. As the dust and debris cleared, everyone could see Flare unconscious on the ground, covered in wounds.
"The winner of this match goes to Lucy Heartfilia!" cried out the announcer, followed by the cheers of the crowd.
Harry watched two more fights go by after Lucy won the first match. Luckily no one else tried to cheat, but then again, they were never dark guilds. Although, Sabertooth seemed to be a little brutal and arrogant. They were proving how they were the strongest guild of this era, but they didn't have to crush those they saw as weaker than them. Harry hoped to have a chance to really fight one of them, just so he could beat the heck out of them. That time with Rufus didn't count.
"Our final match of the day will be between Jura Neekis of Lamia Scale and Laxus Dreyar of Fairy Tail Team B!" the pumpkin-headed announcer called out, making the crowd cheer loudly.
Harry turned to the lightning mage. "Have fun, Laxus. Jura is going to give you a hard time. He uses Earth Magic," he said.
"How do you know that?" asked Laxus.
"Shortly after you were kicked out of the guild, I and a few others fought a dark guild with a few more members from other guilds. Jura was one of those that joined us in our fight and I saw the magic he used."
"I see. Thank you for the heads up."
"No problem," Harry said as he watched Laxus make his way down to the arena.
"Let us guess," said George.
"He uses Lightning magic, doesn't he?" finished Fred.
"That scar gives him away, huh?" said Harry with a knowing grin.
"That and from what you said," said Fred.
"Lightning would have a hard time getting through Earth," said George.
"Plus…" Fred trailed off.
"He has shocking, yellow hair!" the red-headed twins said in unison.
Harry raised an eyebrow. "You were waiting to say that, were you?" he questioned them.
The twins grin and then replied, "You know us too well, Harbear."
Harry chuckled before looking down to the arena again, seeing both Laxus and Jura already down there and ready to get the match done and over with.
"Let the match BEGIN!" the mascot announced, and the two mages began.
Laxus eyed Jura with a firm expression. He didn't show it, but he was nervous. Not very nervous, but just enough for him to remember to be cautious, after all, Jura was one of the Ten Wizard Saints. Those ten mages were nothing to scoff at.
"Let the match BEGIN!" Laxus heard the announcer cry out, making his muscles tense.
Neither he nor the wizard saint moved. They stayed firmly in place. Laxus knew he might have to make the first move just to get the match started, and to allow him to know just how strong Jura was.
Laxus didn't move his body, he did, however, summon down a powerful bolt of lightning on the bald-headed mage. Jura's lips turned upward and brought up hand-shaped stones from the ground and surrounded his body with them, effectively stopping the bolt in its tracks.
Laxus knew then and there that this was indeed going to be a tough battle. He waited to see what Jura would do next before making his next decision.
Jura clapped his hands together and used the spell Iron Rock Wall. The jagged stones made their way toward Laxus, who stood there waiting for the right moment. Once the rocks were close enough, the lightning mage turned his body into his element and dodged the attack.
While still in his lightning form, Laxus maneuvered himself so he may counter with his own attack. He raised his fist and let it fly toward Jura's head. The wizard saint brought up a hand, which summoned some more earth, and blocked Laxus' lightning covered fist.
Jura then used Rock Avalanche. He broke down some of the stones from his rock walls while the rest were still whole, and threw the rocks at his opponent. Laxus couldn't dodge all of the sharp bits of stone, so most of the attack had hit their mark, and making Laxus' body hurt from all the cuts and bruises that had already begun to appear. This, however, would not be nearly enough to take the lightning mage down.
"Hmm… Not many have been able to get back up after that attack, but you didn't even fall. I'm impressed," said Jura. "You truly are Makarov's grandson."
"So you think of me as a worthy opponent, huh?" said Laxus with a smirk plastered on his face. "I must say that I feel honored." The lightning mage got ready to start the fight again. "I hope I don't disappoint then."
Lightning currents began to spark around Laxus' body as he got ready to attack. The bright bolts started moving closer to his mouth where a magic circle appeared.
"Lightning Dragon's…" Laxus began, causing Jura's eyes to widen in shock. "ROAR!" A huge, powerful, bright yellow bolt, surrounded by smaller, blue bolts, shot out of Laxus' mouth and headed straight for Jura.
The wizard saint tried to block the attack by using Iron Rock Wall, but the lightning bulldozed through it like a hot knife through butter. Seeing this made Jura become overwhelmed by shock, but only for a moment. The moment of shock was long enough for Laxus' attack, however. The lightning dragon magic wasted no time in hitting its target. Jura cried out in pain as he was electrocuted. Laxus decided to use this time to strike another blow.
"Lightning Dragon's Breakdown Fist!" Laxus had gathered a large amount of lightning into his fist and then punched forward, sending a giant fist made of electricity at Jura, who was still recovering from the dragon slayer's last attack.
Breakdown fist dazed Jura even farther, allowing Laxus time to approach his opponent. Laxus moved forward quickly by using Lightning Body and aimed a Lightning Dragon's Iron Fist at Jura's head again; however, just like last time, Jura was able to block it by covering his hand in thick layers of stone and grabbed hold of the dragon slayer's lightning covered fist.
Jura threw Laxus away from him by kicking him in the gut and sending him flying toward the stands. Laxus had grunted at the pain the kick caused, but recovered quickly.
"Lightning Dragon's Heavenward Halberd!" Laxus generated electricity in between his hands, and then thrust them forward. The lightning formed into a massive spear, and the power it generated broke up the ground below the path the spear was on.
Jura clapped his hands and cast a spell before Laxus' attack hit. A cloud of dust covered Laxus' view of his opponent, so he had no choice but to wait and see what happened.
When the dust cleared, Laxus' eyes widened in surprise. Jura had blocked his attack by using a rock figure that was in the shape of a human wearing armor. Its hands were clapped together, just like the man who created it.
'How did he even react in time to block my attack?' questioned Laxus.
Jura looked the dragon slayer in the eyes, and Laxus knew that that was going to be his only warning.
"Iron Rock Fist!" Jura sent out a rock fist at the lightning mage, who didn't have time to dodge. The attack slammed Laxus into the wall surrounding the arena, causing a spider web effect to appear where he crashed.
Jura quickly set up his next attack. He rapidly moved one of his hands in Laxus' direction with his palm open. The many bits of stone on the ground flew toward the lightning mage and encased him in a rock-like tomb. Jura then joined his palms together and the rock-like tomb exploded.
Laxus only remembered one time previously feeling this amount of pain, and that was when his own father stuck the lightning dragon magic lacrama inside his body. He laid on the ground for only a few seconds before getting back up slowly.
His body was exhausted and in pain. He drew in breath as controlled as he could so as to not strain his lungs. Laxus noticed he wasn't the only one trying to keep his breathing even, Jura himself wasn't doing much better.
Laxus took in one more deep breath before saying, "I say we finish this. Don't you agree?"
Jura gave a respectful smirk. "Yes, let us use our strongest attacks to end this match."
Laxus used Lightning Body again to move in fast, and as he was doing so, Jura held his hands up in a prayer position.
"Dragon Slayer's Secret Art: Roaring Thunder!" Just as Laxus' lighting covered fist met its target, an enormous amount of magic energy enveloped the lightning mage in a beam that came out of the ground. Both attacks had destroyed the surrounding area, creating a huge dust cloud.
By the time it cleared, everyone in the audience, the judges, and the other participating guilds saw the two, powerful fighters. Their last attacks had knocked them both out.
"...I conclude this match as a tie between Laxus of Fairy Tail Team B and Jura of Lamia Scale!" The pumpkin-headed announcer said loudly with shock coloring his voice, which was followed by the loud cheering from the crowd.
Harry was worried when Laxus went down after the two fighters had released their strongest attacks on each other. He felt a hand on his shoulder, making him turn to see Mira.
"He will be okay, Harry," she said.
"Yeah," said Fred.
"He appears to be a really tough fighter," said George.
"We would hate to make him angry," they said as one.
Harry gave all three of them a thankful smile. "I know he'll be okay, but I can't help but worry," he said.
"Well, we should be heading back to the inn," said Gajeel. "That was the last fight of the day."
"You're right," said Mira. "After all, Harry still needs to introduce these two friends of his to the rest of the guild."
"Right, let's get going then," Harry said and walked with them back to the inn.
Harry watched as Fred and George spoke to Ron and Hermione while he waited for everyone to show up. When they did, he was sad to see that Laxus was not there. He was most likely going to be in the infirmary for at least the night.
'I'll have to go visit him tomorrow,' he thought before turning to Makarov. "Master, there are two people I want the guild to meet."
Makarov took a gulp of bear, and then replied to him. "They wouldn't happen to be those red-heads, would they?" Harry nodded his head to confirm. "I don't see the problem. They look like they could be Ron's brothers."
"They are," Harry said softly, but loud enough for his master to hear him, surprisingly. It was quite loud in the inn due to the party Fairy Tail was throwing.
"I see. HEY YOU BRATS! Harry wants to say something!" All of his guildmates turned to him and waited to hear what he had to say.
Harry cleared his throat. "First off, can the twins come here, please?" Fred and George grinned at him and skipped right over. Once they were next to him, Harry continued. "These two are more of my friends while I was in Hogwarts. Their names are Fred and George Weasley, Ron's older brothers. I want you all to meet them, but be warned, don't eat anything they give you," he said the last part slowly and firmly, letting his friends know that it might not end well for them if they took a candy bar from the twins.
"Awe...Harrykins...You're going to ruin the fun," George whined.
"I'm sure it won't just be candy my guild is going to have to worry about," Harry muttered.
"Hey Harry," Max, the sand mage, called out, "Why are you warning us not to take candy from them?"
Harry pointed toward Ron. "That's why," he stated.
Everyone turned to Ron, who wore an expression of confusion. What they saw made them laugh. This worried the red-headed wizard, so he ran toward the nearest mirror. Harry waited for the scream he knew was coming when Ron saw that his face had turned purple and his eyes had a goat-like appearance.
"AHHHHHH!" They all heard the scream from where Ron had disappeared to, forcing everyone to fall to the ground laughing.
"Oh, I just know I'm going to get along with you guys," said Natsu with an enormous grin splitting his face in half.
Makarov chuckled before turning his attention to the mischievous twins. "Since you are friends of Harry, Ron, and Hermione, I would like to offer you a place in my guild. Would you like to join Fairy Tail?" he asked.
"We would love to,"
"But right now we can't."
"Right now we're still fixing up the shops in Diagon Alley,"
"And we want to get business running again."
"Maybe once everything is ready and we have helpers,"
"We can open up a new shop near your guild,"
"And join the guild with our favorite trio and do job requests on the side," the twins took turns talking and finishing each other's sentences, only to end what they were saying together.
Makarov nodded in understanding. "The guild's door will always be open to you. We will wait until you're ready."
The twins nodded in thanks, and Harry smiled.
"FRED, GEORGE! GET OVER HERE SO I CAN HEX YOU!" Harry watched as a red blur flew past him and chased after the twins, who had already begun running for their lives while cackling.
"You would think you would have learned by now, Ronnie!" the twins exclaimed loudly, making everyone have another round of laughs.
Harry shook his head fondly as he watched his friends/brothers.
Later that night, when everyone went to bed, Harry quietly left his room with his golden hawk, a quill, and paper. He went into another room, this one empty, and got to work writing his letter to Zeref.
Cerberus,
You told me that dark magic was gathering around the Grand Magic Games in your last letter. I don't know for sure if he's involved or not, but Voldemort is here and is partaking in the games. I don't know why he's here, but I'll keep an eye out. If I feel any dark magic, because I have not yet, I'll let you know.
Coils
Harry folded up the letter and gave it to his hawk. "Give that to Zeref," he whispered to the bird, which took the letter and flew off out the window. The wizard's green eyes followed the golden bird until he couldn't see it anymore. Once it was out of sight, Harry left to return to his room. He snuck back in and laid down in bed as quietly as he could. Once he was comfortable, he closed his eyes and fell asleep.
TBC
I believe I'm within my rights for ending the fight in a draw. If Jura had used Rumbling Mt. Fuji on Laxus when they did fight in the anime, I think Laxus would be down for the count.
Natsu: I'm not sure… Laxus might have been fine. :/
Zeref: If he was in perfect shape, I would say he would be.
Harry: Laxus is tough, I'll give him that, but he was up against a Wizard Saint. Keep that in mind.
Natsu&Zeref: That's true…
Enj/Dark: Natsu, you're going to hate this week.
Natsu: What prank is Zeref going to hit me with now? *worry*
Voldy: You think she's going to tell you?
Harry: Do you know?
Voldy: No, I don't.
Zeref: I do though! It is going to be priceless! :D
Natsu: Now I'm really concerned. :(
Zeref: Please review! XD
