Chapter 121th
Gibbs was driving the grey truck while Loreile was holding on with the bumps in the road heading for the diner his favorite and hers. She had known that her husband was lying in order to protect her and the family.
They had been through much the past few years along with her husband's health. One thing for sure he needed to slow down with his job before taking Vance's offer to work at the Academy and Gun range as a teacher. One thing he wasn't looking forward to now of days.
"Jesus Jethro, why are you in a hurry with all of these bumps? I am pregnant you know this?" she said with slight sarcasm in her demeanor.
"It's your imagination Loreile and I do know you're pregnant with our third child," he smirks with his words to drive her crazy with his smirk.
"I am going to wipe that smirk off your face, Jethro. So please so down a little before I take over the driving. Even though we're almost there to the diner." she says to have him slowing down with the shake of his head.
When they had reached the diner. Loreile had noticed with her husband that he was watching around as if someone was coming after him.
Parking his grey truck next to the main door of the diner. The diner wasn't all that busy for a chance. He was hoping that Elle was around working this time. Helping his wife down from the truck with a quick peck to her quick being polite. She knew that something different was up and she was going to get it out of him either by hook or by crook!
Actually was working the register for a chance with the owner in the back helping with the others with the employees putting together the meals.
"Gibbs it's good to see the both of you?" she explained. "What type of table?" she asks with grabbing two of the menus.
"We will take a booth please?" Gibbs says with Elle bringing them over to one of the cleaned tables. "Any coffee?"
"I will have one Elle. However, I don't know about my wife?" Gibbs responded to pissed her off further while keeping her tongue silent for now.
"I will have a large Diet Cola along with a small orange juice. However I will like to order a Western omelet with potatoes, Toast,
and a piece of fruit.
"I will have scrambled eggs with my usual crisp bacon, home fries with a bagel toasted, and the second cup of coffee and orange juice," he responded.
"I will get right on with your orders Jethro," she said with walking away to get to work with the orders noticing that the owner was back at the register once again.
Once she left. Loreile began her assault on her husband.
"Okay let's have it Jethro and don't tell me it's nothing at all?" she cried out but not loud enough for anyone in the diner to hear her outburst.
"What are you talking about Loreile?" he asked trying to cover his tracks in order not to get into a confrontation with his wife.
"CUT THE CRAP AND TELL ME THE TRUTH ON WHAT EXACTLY IS GOING ON?" SHE EXPRESSED HERSELF.
"You want the truth Loreile. Fine, you will have it here. The god damn Cartel leader is after us again and this time it's Alejandro Riveria." he exhaled by saying the name of the Cartel leader.
"That's not possible Jethro? You killed him two years ago in Washington, D.C. train station during the OFF THE BOOKS operation." she cried out when she saw Elle coming over with their food.
"Here you both go. Nice and hot as always!" Elle needed to say to her friends while placing the items onto the table.
After she was done with the items she had asked whether they needed anything else.
In unison: Everything seems to be in order." they said with the waitress walking away to help her other clients in the diner.
"How did you find out that it was Riveria Jethro?" She asked with working on her eggs.
"Sources say that it was Riveria involved with the deaths of Phineas adopted parents in order to get closer to me and take me out. It's him as it was confirmed by his DNA and other factors Loreile. So now I will have to overlook my shoulder once again after all that had happened to me lately?"
"So what you're saying to me Jethro that there is a possible chance that our family is in trouble again and I will need to figure out to get back into the Evergreen safe house while you try to kill this bastard once again?" she was angry with taking a sip of her Diet cola.
"Do it so that I don't have to worry about you and the boys and I mean Phineas as well?" he ordered was taking a piece of his bacon.
"Are we still going to visit the hospital and Shannon?" she asked with the question.
"We need to keep to our schedule until all plans are put together with heading for the safe house for now. I need to work on getting a team together in order to help me track down Riveria."
"Just don't let him get the better of you my love?" she responded with anxious nervous energies in her body and the baby.
"Of course not Loreile. I am so much smarter than him even though I don't know whether he learned how to use a gun after the last time in Mexico and at the train station. I had this strange feeling that I am going to come across him quickly and I just hate my gut feeling now Loriele?" he responded with his feelings coming out once again.
"That's why Jethro that you're are always the best?" his wife had to inflate his ego even further for the most part.
"Thanks for being honest even though many of the enemies I have come across don't think like that at all?" he cried out. "Let's finish up so that we can get to the hospital since she is already being brought into the operating room," he says with finishing his cup of coffee and no doubt will be flying off the handle with all that caffeine in his bloodstream.
