Prompt: Can you write a Drabble of kirkin's finding out Kensi's pregnant

"So what do you think we should have for Sunday's dinner?" Deeks asked as he and Kensi strolled through their favorite park. "Do you think your mom would like pot roast?"

Kensi made a face and rubbed her hand over her six month baby bump.

"Mm, I don't know if that will agree with the baby."

"Enchiladas?" Kensi grinned at his second suggestion and said,

"Baby says yes." Deeks narrowed his eyes at her.

"Baby Deeks seems to have suspiciously similar tastes to Mrs. Deeks," he pointed out and she shrugged.

"What, are you going to tell your pregnant wife that she can't have enchiladas?"

"Good point. I'll make a mobile order tonight. Do we need anything-?"

"Maaaarty." Deeks froze, pulling Kensi to a stop as well.

"No," he said firmly, not turning around. Kensi looked over his shoulder and confirmed,

"Yeah, it's him." He finally turned, muttering under his breath. Anatoli Kirkin sat on a bench a few feet from where they stood, smiling benignly at them.

"Kirkin, what the hell are you doing here?"

"Marty, you know I like to check in on you. It has been much too long," he replied, standing and coming closer.

"No, no it has not been nearly long enough," Deeks disagreed. "We really need to find a new park," he added to Kensi in an undertone.

"Ah, and the lovely Kensi," Kirkin continued, undaunted. "It's wonderful to see you as well." He moved past Deeks, who had partially been blocking his view of Kensi, and reached for her hands. He froze mid-reach, his mouth dropping open as he stared at Kensi's midsection. "Why didn't you tell me you were pregnant?"

"I don't know, maybe because we don't share personal information with criminals. Especially ones who nearly destroyed out wedding." Kirkin gave him a admonishing look before turning back to Kensi.

"Martin, this is not time for bitterness. This is a joyous occasion." He actually had tears in his eyes and Kensi glanced at Deeks in dismay. What the hell were they going to do with a crying Kirkin?

He started to reach towards Kensi again, presumably to touch her bump and Deeks turned to the side, shielding her.

"Martin, please don't be like this," he pleaded, grasping Deeks' hand between his own before Deeks could stop him.

"Get your hands off him," Kensi hissed, her tone truly terrifying. Her protective instincts had only grown stronger with pregnancy. It was kind of hot, Deeks noted idly. Kirkin immediately dropped Deeks' hand, taking a step back, which Deeks thought was a wise choice.

"My apologies." Kensi made an irritated sound and placed her hands on her hips.

"When are you going to realize that Deeks has no interest in you?" Kirkin's face fell for a moment and then he started to say something, but Kensi cut him off. "And before you ask, no, you're not invited to the shower."

"Then would you object to me sending a gift? A little token of our long-standing friendship."

"Oh my god," Kensi muttered under her breath, walking away.

"That would be a no," Deeks confirmed unnecessarily. "I'd say see you around, but I really hope we don't." He gave an awkward wave and jogged to catch up with Kensi.

"At least promise to send baby pictures!" Kirkin shouted after them. Deeks was careful not to look back just in case Kirkin thought it was encouragement to follow them. He linked his arm through Kensi's, glancing down at her, and realized she was shaking with silent laughter.

"I cannot believe that Kirkin is still pining for you 8 years later," she gasped.

"Of course he is," Deeks said cockily. "I'm a catch." Kensi sobered a little and ran her thumb down his cheek, eyeing him fondly.

"Yes you are," she agreed.

A/N: It is obligatory for every Kirkin fic to have at least one "Maaaarty" and one "Martin".
