By evening, most of the fires had burned themselves out.

Tyrion was walking through the remains of the Red Keep when he spotted a tentacle poking out from under the rubble. Devastated by this sign, he began clearing away the rubble stone by stone, until he had uncovered the corpse of his brother Jaime.

As Tyrion held Jaime's body in his arms, he began to cry.

He felt someone put a hand on his shoulder. He looked up and saw Dany. Meg, Stewie, and Brian were behind her.

"You loved him, didn't you?" Dany said gently.

Tyrion wiped his eyes with his sleeve. "Your grace, I know he was our enemy, but he was also my brother."

"I totally understand," said Dany. "My brother was an asshole too, but I still find myself missing him sometimes."

Even though Tyrion was devastated by Jaime's death, he was glad he and Dany hadn't had to face Jaime on the battlefield again. If Dany had been the one to kill Jaime, Tyrion had to admit would have had a hard time remaining loyal to her. But instead, Bill had killed Jaime, and for that at least, Tyrion was grateful.

"Could I have a moment to myself?" he asked.

"As you wish," said Dany.

Tyrion hurried off.

He found himself walking the streets of the city, with no purpose in mind. He was just wandering aimlessly, barely able to think.

Suddenly he heard a voice call, "Uncle Tyrion!"

He turned and saw Myrcella and Tommen running toward him. "Thank the gods," he said. "I'm glad that you two, at least, are still alive."

"But Joffy and Uncle Jaime are dead," said Tommen. "They were in the palace when it collapsed."

Myrcella hugged Tyrion. "It's so good to see you again! I never thought I would."

"I'm surprised that you two are so pleased to see me," said Tyrion.

"We know the truth now," said Myrcella. "We know you didn't really kill Mother."

"What's going to happen to us now?" Tommen wondered. "Who will take care of us?"

Tyrion wrapped his tiny arms around his niece and nephew as far as they would stretch. "I will. From now on, I'll be both mother and father to you. I'll make sure you come to no harm."

The Iron Throne had been buried under a pile of broken rock, but it was still intact. Brian and Meg helped Dany clear the debris aside.

They found Joffrey's corpse sitting on top of the throne. "That's something I've been wanting to see for a long time," said Meg. "I just wish I had killed him myself."

"So do I," sighed Dany.

"Well, at least he's dead, one way or another," said Brian. "I guess there's nothing standing between you and the Iron Throne now, huh, Daenerys?"

Dany was visibly overwhelmed. To conquer this throne had been her lifelong dream, and now she was finally laying eyes on it. "When I was a child, my brother told me it was made from the thousand swords of Aegon the Conqueror's fallen enemies. What do a thousand swords look like in the mind of a little girl who can't count to twenty? I imagined a mountain of swords too high to climb. So many fallen enemies, you could only see the soles of Aegon's feet."

"Well, I say Westeros has never had a monarch more deserving of the title," said Stewie. "Congratulations."

Brian turned to Stewie. "I guess we should get back to the North and see how things are going there."

"Probably the White Walkers all died once Bill was defeated," said Stewie. "The other monsters did."

"You're probably right, but we should check to make sure," said Brian. The two of them pressed the buttons on their teleporters and zapped back to Winterfell.

Now Dany and Meg were left standing alone in the ruins of the throne room. Dany turned to Meg. "Meg, I want to ask you about something that happened earlier today."

Hoo boy, Meg thought. She had suspected this was coming.

"When Bill Cipher threw you into that burning building, you walked out again without a single scorch mark on you," said Dany. "That's really interesting… because something very similar once happened to me. When I carried my dragon eggs into a fire to hatch them, the flames didn't burn me. I was completely unharmed… because fire cannot kill a dragon."

"There's something I haven't told you before," Meg confessed. "I'm not really Peter Griffin's daughter. I'm the daughter of Lyanna Griffin… and Rhaegar Targaryen, your brother. That's why your dragons liked me so much. My true name is Megon Targaryen, and I am your niece."

"Were you ever planning to tell me?" Dany asked. Meg couldn't tell if she was angry or not.

"I was going to tell you eventually," Meg said. "But I was worried you'd be suspicious of me and think I was plotting to steal your throne."

"Are you?" Dany asked, almost causally.

"No! Of course not! I didn't come to take your place, Daenerys. I came to put you into it. You're the coolest person I've ever known, and I'm proud to call you my queen."

Dany was silent for a moment. Then she said, "I always thought I was the last of the dragons. Now it seems I'm not."

There was another long pause. Then Dany stepped closer to Meg. For a moment, Meg feared Dany would attack her, but instead, Dany threw her arms around Meg and hugged her.

"I knew there was a reason I liked you so much when I first met you, Meg," she said. "I'm glad I'm not the last of the dragons. A Targaryen alone in the world is a terrible thing."

"And I'm glad to have you for a friend and not a foe, Daenerys," Meg said.

Brian and Stewie appeared just outside Winterfell. Arya came out to greet them. She was wearing her own face.

"Hey, you're not disguised as Quagmire anymore!" said Brian.

"I don't need to be," said Arya. "You'll see why."

"Did you defeat the White Walkers?" Brian asked.

"We sure did," said Arya. "Actually, it was mostly thanks to Sansa of all people. She walked right up to the head Walker and stabbed him, and that made all the other White Walkers die too. I had no idea she had that in her."

"Where is she?" asked Brian. "Can we see her?"

"Yeah," said Arya. "Come on in." She picked up Stewie and walked inside. Brian followed.

They went into the great hall, where Brian saw Sansa sitting on the throne that was once his. When she saw Brian and Stewie, she smiled. "Oh, hi, Brian. Hello, Stewie."

"Hey," said Brian. "Um, what's going on here?"

Sansa shifted in her seat. "Well, it seems that the people of the north want me to be their queen again. You don't mind, do you Brian?"

Brian hid his disappointment. "No, I don't mind. After all, Winterfell belonged to your family first."

"Where's Theon Greyjoy?" Stewie asked.

Sansa's face fell. "Theon died fighting the White Walkers."

"Will you take me to him?" Stewie asked.

"I'll take you," said Arya. "His body is outside with the other corpses."

She carried him back out to the courtyard, where the bodies of the fallen lay. They had passed by them on the way in, but Stewie hadn't noticed Theon before.

"He died defending Winterfell," Arya said quietly.

"When Theon and his ironmen first took over the castle, I thought I'd be glad to see him dead," Stewie said. "But now I realize he was a hero in his own way. He saved Brian from Ramsay. He saved Meg's friend Ruth too. His name may have been Greyjoy, but I think he was a Griffin at heart."

Meanwhile in Oldtown, Steve had returned to his apartment. As yet, he had no inkling of the cataclysms that had occurred in Westeros earlier that day. He was holding the paper Gerald Dayne had given him, but he hadn't looked at it yet.

And furthermore, he had decided, he wasn't going to. Steve Smith is not a cheater, he said to himself.

He tore the paper into tiny pieces without ever having read it. He might fail his exam tomorrow, but at least he would fail honestly.

Gilly walked over to him. "What's that?" she asked.

"Nothing," said Steve.
