Author's Note: This will be the last chapter of this particular story, but I'm hoping to write sequels about the further adventures of the Griffins in Westeros someday, and maybe even a prequel about Robert's Rebellion, and Peter's role in it. I also plan to write stories where I insert the Griffins into other works of fiction, but they will take place in a separate continuity from my Westeros stories. So, I'm leaving you for now with an epilogue, which I hope will provide enough resolution to satisfy while leaving a few open ends to tantalize…
EPILOGUE
The winds of winter had dissipated, and now the people of Westeros could finally begin to dream of spring.
The Red Keep had been partially rebuilt, and Queen Daenerys had moved into it, along with the Griffins, although Lois divided her time between staying there and staying at Riverrun. Her brother Patrick had become the new lord of the riverlands. Pam and her daughter, who everyone called Lil Chris, were living at Riverrun too. The Pines family had gone back to the Mystery Shack, and were working to rebuild the town of Gravity Falls as best they could. As for the Brotherhood Without Banners, they had dissolved, because with Joffrey and Bill both gone, there was no longer any purpose for the organization to exist.
Qyburn, Gideon, and Pycelle had dropped out of sight after the Battle of King's Landing. Most people assumed they had died. In any case, Dany wouldn't have wanted them to work for her. How could she have trusted them?
So, Dany and Brian had created a new council from scratch. Tyrion served as their Hand, and Bronn became the new Master of Coin, at Tyrion's suggestion. Davos Seaworth became the Master of Ships. Steve Smith, who had just finished his studies, became the Grand Maester. And Stewie was the new Master of Whisperers. It was the perfect job for a three eyed raven. Stewie didn't even need to use spies, like Varys had done, because he could see everything through his visions. He was gaining greater control of his powers by the day, and by now he didn't even need to be around a heart tree to experience a vision anymore. He could tap in whenever he wanted.
Today, Stewie and the others were sitting in the throne room, waiting for their king and queen to arrive. Dany and Brian walked into the room, followed by Meg, Hayley, and Jeff, all three of whom Dany had made into knights.
"All hail Queen Daenerys Targaryen and King Brian Griffin!" Meg proclaimed.
"Thank you, Meg," said Dany.
"When are you going to find four more knights for your Kingsguard?" asked Tyrion. "Or should that be Queensguard? I'm not sure what to call it."
Dany smiled. "We'll get around to it eventually." She had hoped that Martin the Warrior would join her guard, but after the death of Rose, Martin didn't want to live in Westeros. Too many painful memories, he said. So, he and most of his animal friends had returned to Mossflower. Dany was sad to see them go, but they had fulfilled their obligation to her.
"Well, you're off to a good start with these first three," said Stewie.
Hayley looked across the room at her brother. "We've come a long way, Steve. I wonder if Dad is finally proud of us."
"I don't care if he is or not," said Steve. "I'm proud of myself."
"Me too," said Hayley.
"Well, let's get down to business," said Dany, seating herself on the Iron Throne. Brian sat down in a chair next to her.
"What's on the docket for today?" Tyrion asked.
Dany was holding a stack of papers. She started reading them off, one by one. "First up, we have a decree legitimatizing Gendry Baratheon and making him the new lord of Storm's End."
"Oh, that's good," said Meg. She was glad her friend had gotten a happy ending.
Dany held up the next paper in the pile. "This says that Lord Bronn is the new master of Highgarden and Warden of the West."
Bronn beamed. "Thanks a lot!"
"Princess Arianne Martell will be the ruler of Dorne and Warden of the South," Dany went on. "Little Lord Robin West will continue to serve as Warden of the East. And Lady Sansa Stark will be Warden of the North."
"She's already styling herself Queen in the North," Stewie reminded her.
"Well, she can go on calling herself a queen if she likes, as long as she does me homage as her overlord," said Dany. "She doesn't have to like me, but she does have to respect me."
The talk turned to other matters.
"We need the funds to rebuild our navy," said Davos.
"I'll take care of that," said Bronn.
"Maybe we could buy some ships from Berk," Brian suggested.
"As long as we're talking about money, why don't we spend some money on improving the city's sewer system?" said Tyrion.
"And what about the brothels?" Bronn added. "When can we rebuild those?"
"I once brought a jackass and a honeycomb into a brothel," said Tyrion. Everyone laughed.

Later, Stewie, Brian, Dany, and Tyrion were standing outside on the balcony, watching the dragons fly through the air. Rhaegal and Viserion had recovered from their injuries and were doing just fine now.
"Well, looks like things worked out pretty good for us, eh, Brian?" said Stewie.
"Indeed," said Tyrion. "Probably a much better ending than most of us deserve."
"You know, guys," said Brian. "I've got another idea for a novel."
"Oh, not this again!" Stewie groaned.
"No, I'm serious this time," said Brian. "I'm thinking about writing a book about everything that's happened to us over the past few years. It'll be about you, and me, and Dany, and Tyrion, and all our other friends. I'll tell all about the adventures we've had, and how Dany and I ended up becoming king and queen."
"That's a wonderful idea!" Dany exclaimed. "You could call it A Song of Ice and Fire!"
"Or A Game of Thrones," Tyrion suggested.
"Yeah, maybe," said Brian. "Or maybe I'll think of a different title."
"I've seen you try to write stories before," Stewie scoffed. "You never finish them."
"That's because I just haven't had the right inspiration," Brian said. "But I think this just might be the story I can finally tell from beginning to end. For me, this all seemed to begin on the day that Robert came to Winterfell and asked Peter to be his Hand. So, I think I'll start by writing about that, and just go from there."
So, that is what Brian did.
And that is the story you have just finished reading.
THE END
