Raw: November 12, 2012
Eve looks at me as we enter the arena. "You wouldn't happen to know if I have a match tonight since you're the President of the Divas Division, do you?"
I shrug. "I have no idea. I can make Divas matches since I'm not competing right now, but I haven't made any yet. Vickie and Booker both seem to be handling that well."
"Yeah, you're right about that. Vickie probably gave me some sort of match. If not, Kaitlyn probably would then, and I could go do commentary."
"You're probably set to have something, which is good since you're the Divas Champion." I reply as we walk through the halls, looking for either of our locker-rooms.
"Hopefully that's the case."
"It should be. Vickie and Booker are both pretty respectful of the Divas Division."
"That's true. I'm sure I'll be fine."
"You should be."
"I should be. Well there's your locker-room. I'll see you later."
I smile. "See you later, Eve."
I watch Eve walk down the hall before entering my locker-room.
Randy was sitting on the couch. "Well look who decided to finally show up. I was getting a little worried that you weren't here yet. You hadn't texted me that you made it to the arena."
I put my bag down. "Sorry, I've only been here about ten minutes, and Eve and I were talking when we came in together. I must've forgotten to text you."
"It's alright. How was your weekend?"
"It was good. How was your weekend?"
"Peaceful, but I was lonely without you."
"Sorry, babe."
"It's good. Was everything alright over the weekend?"
"I've just been still really tired like I've been lately and feeling a little bloated, but I didn't throw up or get lightheaded or anything."
"That's good to hear."
"Yeah, do you have a match tonight?"
"I'm actually facing Dolph in the opening match tonight."
I laugh. "I should've known. You're always facing Dolph. Are you going to object to me managing you tonight? I'm in a mood to manage you."
"Well you seem like you feel fine. You can go."
I smile. "Thanks, Randy. Let me find something to wear."
"Okay. You'll look good in whatever you're gonna wear."
"Thanks. I missed you over the weekend."
"I missed you too. How have you been holding up today?"
I shrug before changing into a cute outfit for managing tonight. "I've been alright. I've thought about it today of course, but I haven't been crying or anything."
"Okay. That's good to hear."
"Yeah, I do think I want to stop by the grave at some point though while we're home this week."
"Okay. That's fine with me. I'll go with you if you want."
"I'd really appreciate it if you did."
"Okay."
"Also both Chelle and Ryse are supposed to be going to Survivor Series on Sunday, and since all of us girls should be together and without drama for the first time in a while, I think the four of us will probably be going to do something over the weekend. It'd likely be Friday instead of Saturday, but I'm just letting you know."
"As long as you're not throwing up or lightheaded again, I'm not gonna stop you. That's fine. There's something we do need to discuss though."
"What's that?"
"I was talking to Tyler yesterday."
"Was he bitching about me again?"
"No, actually he was telling me that Colby is supposed to be backstage at Survivor Series on Sunday and invited both him and Lauren to come to the show. They're coming and will probably be backstage for at least part of the show."
"Isn't that great? If Tyler bitches me out again, I'm not going to tolerate him being around. Colby didn't tell me that he was going to be at Survivor Series though."
"That's probably because he figures we'll already be there, which we will."
"You're right. I wonder if it has anything to with his main roster debut. I haven't gotten told anything about that, probably because I'd accidentally say something to him."
Randy laughs. "You would do that."
"I know, but I'm serious about not tolerating Tyler if he keeps up his recent behavior."
"I understand. When was the last time you two talked?"
"Over a month ago. I considered calling to check up on him today, but if he's still gonna be like that, I don't want to deal with it today. You should text Kenny and ask if he's coming on Sunday too. He's pretty tight with Colby, so he may have invited Kenny too. Plus, I don't have any issues with Kenny right now, so it'd be cool to see him."
"I'll text him real quick. You might want to start your hair and makeup soon. We don't have much time before I'll need to be in guerilla since I'm in the opening match."
"I'll go start on that now."
I hear voices in my head
They council me
They understand
They talk to me…
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Marissa, from Saint Louis, Missouri, weighing in at 245 pounds, he is the Apex Predator, Randy Orton!"
I'm here to show the world
I'm here to show the world
Come on
Bring it on…
"And his opponent, from Hollywood, Florida, Dolph Ziggler!"
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Dolph runs at Randy. Randy hits Dolph with a couple of Clotheslines before hitting him with a Scoop Slam. Randy throws Dolph on the apron before hitting him with the Draping DDT. As Randy taunts for the RKO, Alberto Del Rio jumps up on the apron. Randy knocks Del Rio off of the apron. Dolph goes for the Zig Zag, but Randy rolls into the pin.
1…2…3!
"Here is your winner, Randy Orton!"
Before I can climb into the ring, Ricardo Rodriguez jumps onto Randy's back before Del Rio and Dolph both attack Randy. Before I can get involved to help, Kofi runs down to the ring to help.
You know it's the Mack militant, coming to get it on.
Hey, get outta my way.
I'm coming, the thunder and lightning is striking.
I'm fighting you on the storm…
Teddy Long walks onto the stage. "Well apparently Vickie Guerrero is too busy being obsessed with the AJ scandal. So I'll tell you what, since this is a super show, I am going to do something super. On behalf of SmackDown GM Booker T, this match will restart as a Tag Team match right now."
Ding Ding Ding!
Randy and Del Rio start the match off. Del Rio kicks Randy harshly in the face. Randy falls into the corner before Kofi tags himself in. I check on Randy as he rolls out of the ring. Kofi hits Del Rio with a Crossbody before pinning him.
1…2…kickout!
"Are you okay?" I ask Randy.
Randy smiles at me. "I'm fine."
Kofi hits Del Rio with SOS and pins him once again.
1…2…
Dolph breaks the pin. Randy Clotheslines Dolph out of the ring and follows him out of the ring. Kofi taunts to the crowd. Ricardo Rodriguez jumps onto the apron. Del Rio kicks Kofi in the head before pinning him.
1…2…3!
Randy glares at Del Rio as Del Rio taunts Randy from the ring. I run over to Randy and grab onto him.
"Don't do it." I say just loud enough for Randy to hear.
Randy wraps an arm around me. "I'll save it for Sunday."
I sat in my hotel room on the couch with my reading glasses on. "I'm going to read a letter, Randy. Alright?"
Randy replied from the bathroom. "Okay, Rissa. I'll be out there in a few anyway."
"Okay." I opened the letter numbered thirty-eight.
Date: August 22, 2005
Dear Marissa, tonight you were moved back to Monday Night Raw, and I'm elated to see that you will likely be used in a wrestling capacity full time now.
I know that's all you've wanted this whole time, and now you've got a storyline and no reason to not be wrestling. Despite my reservations, I am glad you are getting exactly wanted and know that you will capitalize on it because that's who you are.
I'm going to keep watching because I know that you will do well with us. I'm excited to see where this will take you.
Love, Mom
I look at Randy with a smile. "She was happy for me career wise. That makes me feel a lot better now."
Randy grins. "That's good."
