Floraltox Tower Raid (Part 1)

Ultra Space: Unknown world

In the world of Malummox's servants, Floraltox was chanting to a strange box-like item.

After Floraltox finished, the box sealed up and glowed with a purple aura.

"The Bane Box is complete," Floraltox said. "Now to set it up."

Melemele Island: Hau'oli City

In the dead of the night, Floraltox arrived and set her sights on Viren Tower.

"That'll do perfectly," Floraltox made the Bane Box rise high into the sky, where it grew giant and merged itself onto the top of Viren Tower. "I'm looking forward to what's to come."

Then, Floraltox teleported inside the Bane Box.

The next morning, Viren and his workers arrived at Viren Tower to see its new addition.

"Hey! What's that on my tower!?" Viren shouted. "Just wait, I'm gonna get to the bottom of this!"

Viren tried to enter the Tower, but he couldn't even get the door open.

"Urgh! What's the big idea!?" Viren said as he struggled with the door.

Meanwhile, in the Ultra Guardians base, the Ultra Guardians, including Gladion, were receiving a transmission from the Aether Foundation.

"What's the case this time, Mother?" Lillie asked.

"An unusual one. Here, take a look." Lusamine said, and a live footage of Viren Tower was brought up.

"Viren Tower?" Kiawe asked.

"What's that thing on the top?" Sophocles asked.

"We're not sure, but we've detected an unusual energy signature that's similar to Ultra Aura from it." Wicke said.

"Despite that, we don't think it's related to Ultra Beasts at all. But even so, it's still worth checking out." Professor Burnet said.

"There you have it, everyone. So now… Ultra Guardians, off you go!" Lusamine said.

"Ult-roger!" The Ultra Guardians shouted.

The Ultra Guardians mounted their Ride Pokémon and flew off for Viren Tower with the Wild Kratts in tow in the Tortuga.

Melemele Island: Hau'oli City

Meanwhile, Viren was still trying to get into his building.

"We're here!" Viren heard Ash's voice behind him and turned to see the Ultra Guardians and the Kratt brothers.

"You lot!? Go bother someone else!" Viren said.

"Listen Viren! We're here to investigate that thing on top of your tower!" Kiawe said.

"Oh yeah? I'd like to see ya try! The doors are locked shut! I can't get them open, so good luck with that!" Viren said.

"Well, if we can't get the doors open, then let's bring them down!" Kiawe said.

The Ultra Guardians had Garchomp, Flygon, Altaria, Dragonair, Metang, Charizard, and Noivern use Dragon Pulse, Rock Slide, Moonblast, Ice Beam, Flash Cannon, Flamethrower, and Boomburst on the doors, blowing them down and opening a way into the building.

"Hah! Now we can get in!" Mallow said, and the heroes ran to enter the tower.

However, before anyone could get into the building, the Bane Box on top opened up and started shooting out strange globs of purple slime in all directions.

When the globs of slime landed on the ground, they became purple humanoid creatures that started rampaging.

"Whoa, that's not good!" Martin said.

"We've gotta stop them!" Lana said.

"But what about the tower?" Lillie asked.

"You guys head in there and stop whatever it is that's in there! Martin and I will deal with things out here!" Chris said.

"Okay, good luck!" Gladion said, and he and the Ultra Guardians ran into the building.

In the main lobby, the Ultra Guardians looked around, then an elevator opened by itself, with Floraltox inside.

"I remember her from the fight with Scorchingale!" Lillie said. "She was there, but Scorchingale prevented her from getting involved."

Then, the elevator closed and when it opened again, Floraltox was gone.

"She's gone!" Mallow said.

"Let's go after her!" Ash said as he ran towards the elevator with his friends not far behind.

When the Ultra Guardians entered the elevator, the elevator closed and started going up.

Eventually, it stopped and the elevator disappeared to reveal the Ultra Guardians were now strangely at an outside area.

"What, outside?" Sophocles asked.

"How did we end up out here?" Lana asked.

"No, you're still inside the building." Floraltox's voice said, causing the Ultra Guardians to look around to find her. "I am Floraltox, and you're all in my subspace within the Bane Box."

Then, a flower bloomed from the ground and projected an image of Floraltox.

"Where are you!?" Gladion demanded to know.

"Your opponents at the moment are them," Floraltox said, and seven humanoid beings that had black faces with a single white circle appeared. "Meet my Mimics."

Then, the Mimics were enveloped by light, each in one of the colors of the Ultra Guardians, and when the light cleared, the Mimics took on the color of the lights and the body shape of the respective Ultra Guardian.

"What the? Those guys kinda look like us now!" Mallow said.

Then, the Mimics produced crystals that resembled Burst Hearts.

"What!? Did they just copy our Burst Hearts!?" Kiawe asked.

Then, the Mimics raised their copied Burst Hearts in the air and their body shapes changed into Burst forms- the Ash Mimic, Kiawe Mimic, Lana Mimic, Mallow Mimic, Lillie Mimic, Sophocles Mimic, Gladion Mimic changed into Passimian, Manectric, Electrode, Oricorio Baile Style, Stufful, Clawitzer, and Granbull Burst forms respectively.

"Hold on! That's not how they're supposed to work!" Mallow said.

"They're fake Burst Hearts, so I guess the normal rules don't apply." Gladion guessed.

Then, the Ultra Guardians got their own Burst Hearts ready, only to suddenly change into the same Burst forms as their Mimics.

"Wha? It automatically…" Lana said.

"Hold on, I didn't even…" Sophocles said.

"This subspace has twisted the way your Burst Hearts work," Floraltox explained. "Your Mimics determine which Burst forms you can take, and whatever they choose, you'll be forced into it as well."

"No way!" Kiawe said.

"Come on guys! Those are our powers! We won't let them beat us!" Ash said, boosting the others' morale.

"How interesting. You have quite the fight in you. Do keep me entertained." Floraltox said, and the Mimics charged in to fight.
