As the same going for my other stories: Spells and Louds, A Sparking Relationship and of course Helluva Loud Adventures. This is the 15th birthday of Luan, the former Loud family member and she's gonna have a birthday that is almost as close to what Leni had months ago. Enjoy reading this guys.
Family of Two.
Chapter 229: Luan, turning 15.
(Crotus Penn Mental Hospital, Marquette.)
The morning light shines onto the window of the former sister to The Loud siblings, and that is Luan. The former comedian and member to The Loud family gets out of bed and she looks around her room and then she recalls what had happened.
'Right, Leni's here now. This is so weird and yet I feel happy for her presence, now things won't be hard for me and perhaps she can help me contain this damned side of me that keeps making things so bad!'
She then recalls another thing. 'Right, that ghost Nurse is gone now. I think she saw that… That the one who could help me came, and that her services to help keep my sanity in check is no longer needed, though I am gonna miss her and she never even got to say goodbye to me, even though she has never spoken a single word, but screaming.'
Luan then looks to the photo on her table, the photo of herself and Leni sitting on her bed and smiling, she smiles too and then has this odd feeling. 'Why the heck does some part of me see Leni as,,, as a mom? Is this normal? Or is this how Lincoln felt with Lunes? This is so confusing, but I gotta pull it together.'
Luan then goes to get her clothes ready, she then stops and looks to her calendar and smiles. "Happy B-Day Luan, you were 14, and now taking on 15, and perhaps a good day would come for me today."
Luan then goes to her bathroom to get herself ready. But then she stops and she looks to the chair near her desk and she sees some clothes, and a note on the folded clothes. "What the heck is this?" she goes over and she reads the note.
Hi Luan, and Good Morning, and I know that you're reading this and I know what day it is. So, Happy Birthday Luan, I wanted to let you wear these clothes that I picked out for you, I know you'll love them.
Yours truly, Leni Lauren.
Luan looks to the clothes and she smiles. "Classic Leni, she knows how to make a cool fashion trend that speaks to the person, and she still has her kind-hearted nature, but with some brains into the mix." Luan then walks towards her bathroom.
(Later.)
Luan comes out of her room and she's wearing what Leni had left out for her on the chair in the room.
Luan's attire: A white buttoned blouse, with a pink flower pattern on the waist, yellow short sleeved jacket, a yellow and pink plaid skirt and yellow knee high socks with brown and pink sneakers, she has her hair in a ponytail but being held by a yellow scrunchie that has some black spots.
Luan then walks down the hall, but then she sees the door from across her room opens and coming out is none other than the former sister who came to help her, Leni Lauren.
Leni's attire: Pink and white blouse inside of a teal long-sleeve jacket, light blue jeans and white and teal sneakers, her hair is in a ponytail and she has reading glasses above her head, she's also wearing her pink hooped earrings, and pink and teal bracelets.
The 17-year old smiles at Luan and goes over to hug her. "Happy Birthday, Luan, and Good Morning too."
Luan smiles and she too hugs Leni. "Thanks, and thanks for the set of clothes for the day, these are really nice and I look good in them too."
Leni smiles. "Yeah, I made the right choice with the attire for ya. Also, we should go and see what the others are doing, come on."
Luan nods and she follows Leni, she then looks to Leni and sees her smile as she walks down the hall with her, the very same smile that shows everyone that everything is gonna be okay.
'Just as the same as she was when we were a big and loud family, Leni always knows how to cast a smile even on the most darkest of days, or miserable moments.'
The two then go through the double doors to where the patients go to interact, and watch TV, and Luan is surprised by what she sees. "Surprise, Happy Birthday Luan!"
The staff, the patients she knows (Not all of them, since most are deranged and locked in other rooms.) have all set up everything for her to show that this is her 15th birthday, but what shocks Luan the most is seeing the others who arrived.
Lincoln, Luna, Michelle, Delilah, Harriet, Albert, Myrtle, Lucy, Maggie, Lola, Lana and they're mother, Agnes Johnson and someone Luan never thought she'd see again. "L-Lori?!"
The former eldest sister to them all smiles and she goes over to her. "Happy Birthday Luan, I would never wanna miss the birthday of my former siblings." She then hugs her.
Luan is still shocked, but the hug from Lori comforts her and she sheds some tears, and soon Leni joins in, and then the others do as well. Luan feels as if the comforts of the family she always knew and loved has come back and is making her feel as if her dark and prankster side is being calmed won and showing her what she's been missing, the family who still loves her.
They then depart from the large family hug and Luan looks to them. "But, you guys came? And all of this…"
"Was all Leni's idea" replied Lucy. "We can all recall that when it comes to birthday parties for the family, Leni knows how we like it, and she wanted this one special for you."
"We were told from Leni about what you went through, the day it tried to take over" said Lori. "We're sorry that you had a hard time trying to fight that dark side of yourself."
"But you managed to pull through and with the comforting words of Leni, she came and helped you break free from the dark part of you" said Luna.
"And even if it does comes back, then it won't be strong enough to take control of you again" replied Lincoln. "Because we know that with Leni by your side, you can overcome this, both of you."
The twins then speak. "Because we can't be able to cope with change, unless we try our hardest or have someone by our side."
Luan then looks towards Leni. Leni then hugs her, and Luan returns the hug. "I'm done with my personal and mental issues, and I finished my work at the Mental Hospital I was in at Bay city, now it's time for me to help you with your issues."
Luan just hugs her and sheds some tears. "Thank you, thank you. All of you, for being here. This means so much to me, thank you."
They all embrace her once again, and this makes the rest of the staff and patients cheer and clap at this loving moment, and made them feel as if perhaps they can be able to fix their mental problems so they too might be able to overcome their conflicts and then return to their loved ones.
Dr. Reginald Himmler smiles seeing this. 'This is it, the next step for Luan to embrace her new change and to neutralize the dreaded dark side of herself, the comfort and the possible forgiveness to the road of redemption from those she knows and still loves.'
'With this new kind of cure for Luan, I could only guess that it'll help her improve faster and perhaps even confirm that she is fully cleared somewhere before the summer begins, and I know she'll be cleared soon, as long as Leni Lauren is here to help her. Though, she still needs to do her classes, same with Luan.'
The man then sees the ghost, Harriet go towards him. "Sir, the Nurse is not here. What happened? Where is she?"
(Later.)
The party keeps going, and they all enjoy the nice food that the folks from Royal Woods have brought, but how did the folks there even come here so fast and in the morning? Medivac Dropship.
They all continue to enjoy what this party has for them, Luan takes a good look around the place and is happy to see her former family members all having fun and talking to each other, and she was also told why Lisa and Lily couldn't attend.
Lily is with her parents and word is…. She might not be in town when Summer Vacation gets near, her parents are planning to move out of Royal Woods and onto Detroit.
Lisa still has her own issues, she's still nervous and upset about going to see the rest of her former family, she is okay with those within Royal Woods, or even the local areas she sees them, but to go there to where the others are at, that's something she's afraid to do, really shows that she is just a kid.
Luan understands that the rest of the family is locked up elsewhere, and they don't have time to see her, but it doesn't mean that they sent letters to her and now we go to see what Luan is doing through this party.
Luan is finished reading the letting from Lynn Jr and she places it next to the one from Rita and Lynn Sr. She looks back to the letters and is happy to see them, even from Lisa. 'This is nice, all of this.'
"Luan?" The girl then looks to Leni who goes to her, and she sits next to her. "Everything okay?"
Luan nods, and she hugs Leni. "Everything is alright, Leni. Thank you, thank you for being here to help me with my issues, to be the one I can seek comfort to and to make this whole event come to life, you made my day and I will forever be grateful about all of this."
Leni smiles and she returns the hug. "You're welcome Luan, I wanna do this because I wanna help you, so that we both can be able to seek out whatever the future holds, and whatever lies ahead of us, I wanna help you fix this problem, we can do this, together."
"Let me help you, and cooperate as I guide you out of the damned state you were tormented by. The best way to seek out change, comfort and clearance from the darkness of our sinful past is to help each other, and now it's my turn to come and help you, as the others once did for me."
Luan is in tears hearing this, they depart from the hug and Leni kisses her forehead. "I wanna help you, and the others do too. When the time does come, then we can both see what the future holds for the both of us."
Luan chuckles. "Like two peas in a pod." This makes Leni chuckle as well. "Thanks Luan, I love you so much mo… I mean, Leni." Luan looks away nervously.
Leni was surprised she would call her that, but deep down, she understand and she knows that whatever future is in store for them, it'll involve the two of them living together, as their own Family of Two.
A/N: Happy Birthday Luan, from 14 and now turning 15, and her future is soon to say that she will be released and headed back home, alongside Leni Lauren and also closely in tie with my original take on this called "Luck, Nightmares and Fears."
