Where am I? Oh, I must've been unconscious.
Ouch! My head hurts.
How did I fall unconscious? Was it the avalanche?
When Lin Ye slowly opens his eyes, what he sees was not snow, nor mountains, but a wooden room.
The sound of wind chimes rang in his ears, and a faint fragrance filled his nose.
"Oh, you're already up. Come and have a cup of tea."
He heard a soothing female voice.
Lin Ye gets up. He doesn't know if it was because of him being out for so long but his body seems to know what to do.
Seemingly on autopilot, he gets up, walks, and then sits down on a wooden chair. Then, he has a cup of warm tea in his hand, he drinks the warm tea, and then his tired body became a little more comfortable.
"You should be better now. It should be only a little bit longer I can see you." It's the girl's voice again, "But I still make my own way to you, because I really want to talk to you."
Who is this?
Lin Ye knows that the girl talking to him is sitting next to him, but he didn't turn his head to see who the girl is.
Instead, he kept thinking about who this voice belongs to. He feels that this voice is very familiar, but he also feels that it isn't. He didn't know where he had heard it before or if it this just him imagining things.
"Don't think too much about it." The girl says with a smile, "Look over there, the dead tree is about to give birth to leaves again."
Lin Ye raises his head and looks at the tree outside of a window.
He sees a dead tree in the courtyard, but a new leaf seems to have grown on one of the dead branches.
"Don't think too much about the past." The girl says softly, "The cause that was planted at the beginning is now about to bear fruit."
Lin Ye didn't understand what the girl meant, but he could feel that the girl seems to like talking to him.
"Wait a bit longer. We will be able to finally meet." The girl says with a smile, "Goodbye." Footsteps fade away from him.
When Lin Ye finally realized that he could turn his head, the girl was no longer there, and there is only a cup of hot tea with white mist beside him. He lifts the teacup to his face. He finds that there seemed to be words engraved on the cup, and he straightens his arms and looks at the cup.
It is very rough lettering. He lightly utters the words on it "Messiah?"
As if in response to him, there was a cat cry in the courtyard.
He raises his head and finds that a cat appeared under the tree and it is meowing at him. This is a very special cat.
You are-his thought is cut off when he heard another voice.

"You finally woke up."
When he opened his eyes, he sees Matterhorn sitting next to him.
"How is your recovery?" he asks.
"It's okay, there seems to be nothing uncomfortable anymore." Lin Ye answers,
Looking around, he finds himself lying in a not-so-large room. The furniture in the room is all wooden, including the floor, beams, and windows.
This made Lin You feel a little confused. Wasn't he in a different room before and was in the care of a girl.
Seeing that Lin Ye's expression was a little strange, Matterhorn asks "What's wrong with you?"
Lin Ye looks around and sees a closed window. He sees a bench and thinks that he sat on it before but he's here. he doesn't remember clearly, so he asks, "Are we going back to Kjerag?'"
"We have always been in Kjerag." Matterhorn smiles, "You want to ask us if we are at the villa, I believe? If so, no we are not"
Matterhorn says softly, "We have reached the top of the holy mountain."
Lin Ye is stunned "Holy Mountain?"
"Yes, it's the end of the holy road, where the eldest lady became a saintess."
"You mean. This is the residence of the god? Does Kjerag really have a god?"
When Lin Ye finally calms down his excitement, he realizes he just asked a really rude question to a citizen of a very religious country. Fortunately, Matterhorn didn't seem to care. He just rolls his eyes and says, "Of course there is, or how do you think you have lived until now?"
"What do you mean by that?"
"You can't remember what happened last night? No way."
"I remember we were attacked by a group of casters. Then... "
"We were saved by the god of Karlan." Matterhorn says directly, "Who is the owner of this holy mountain."
Lin Ye opens his mouth slightly.
Saved by God?
Lin Ye was not unwilling to believe it but was a little surprised for the first time. After all, he had known that Kjerag had a true god.
"Are the others okay?" Lin Ye asks, "Pramanix and Cliffheart? As well as Sussurro? Oh, and Lappland."
"Everyone is fine, they are all here. In fact, only you were injured and unconscious, but you did not have any fatal injuries."
Matterhorn sighs suddenly, "Those people seem to have come to kidnap the Mistress and the young Miss, so they had to kill the two of us. Although I wasn't wounded, if the gods didn't take action, both of them would probably have been taken away by them."
"But they are safe. So, don't think too much of that" Lin Ye comforts him.
"That's true but it is still my duty after all. When I go back, I will plead guilty to the Master." Matterhorn face sink as he says this
"And I didn't expect it. This group of people dared to do something in the holy land, this is a great disrespect to the god!"
"Well, you are right." Lin Ye nods and tries to get up.
Matterhorn looks at Lin Ye with some doubts "Doctor Lin, why do always push yourself? Haven't you just woken up? Aren't you tired? If so, continue to rest"
"It's fine." Lin Ye shakes his head, and after hesitating for a while, he still asks him "Um, are you the only one that came to see me?"
Matterhorn nods in confusion.
"Then have you seen me waking up midway?"
"No." he answers, "You have been asleep since last night until just now."
"I do not know if I'm dreaming, but I feel like I've woken up once, in this room." Lin Ye says, "But I didn't see you. There was only one girl talking to me. She also poured me a cup of tea. After drinking tea, I felt much better."
"So, you do dream of women in your dreams" Matterhorn smiles jokingly.
"Really? Now?"
"It's just a joke, but you were really dreaming. Since I arrived, I have stayed in this house and have not left. Where did you come from? The girl? All of the girls are all in the other rooms and never came here."
"I see." Lin Ye nods.
So, it was just a dream but why did it feel so real?
Thinking about it, it can only be a dream. After all, he didn't even see the girl's face. He just heard her voice.
"Ah, maybe I should open the door for you, You seem to need some fresh air."
At that moment, the sunlight came in, making Lin Ye, who had been in a dark room for a long time, was blinded for a second.
My eyes! Damn you, you stupid big ball of fire!
He has to raise his hand to cover his eyes. At the same time, in the courtyard, a breeze blew at him. After adjusting to the sun, Lin Ye slowly put down his hand, sees a dead tree in the courtyard, and is suddenly startled.

Then he sees Pramnix coming from the other side of the courtyard.

Matterhorn and Lin Ye both shows surprised expressions.

She stops and turns her head. Looking at Lin Ye in surprise, she asks "How do you know the name of God?"
