THE END WAR – QUEEN HIRSCH NADIA
The Imperial Palace
Nadia walks towards Jonas. The emperor turns to face her, disregarding Uzumaki Naruto for the moment. He has learned a lot about the Leader of the Rebellion in recent years. There are times when he is willing to take advantage of a distraction to win, and there are times when he is not. He believes that this will not be one of those times, he believes that Naruto will allow he and Nadia to have this conversation. He believes this because Naruto will consider this conversation a mercy to Nadia, not to him.
"I always thought that he was a fool, but now that I look back on it, I liked Akashi being the emperor."
"Yes, most people did," Jonas admits.
"Looking back on your time as the emperor my feelings have always been clear. Furst Jonas, I hate you. I hate you more than I have ever hated anyone in my life. Once I thought that only the Tyrant King could make me hate him so much, but no, at least with him there was an opportunity to fight back. You have never given any ground as the emperor, never allowed anyone to defy your will in any way without severe consequences."
"The Tyrant King was a fool. He cared about asserting the dominance of himself and his allies, and he picked those allies because they thought like he did. Surrounding yourself with allies who think exactly like you is foolish, that is why I arranged for the six kingdoms to be ruled by six very different people. A strategist, a narcissist, a manipulator, a scientist, a criminal, and a slacker. You did a good job delaying the rebels for as long as you did, nobody else could have done any better."
"Then why did you kill him!? I sided with you because I believed you would at least be merciful to the six of us!"
"What is the purpose of this deception Nadia?"
"You think I'm deceiving you?"
"Yes. You are the only thinker I know who is a rival to me. You may not know everything about me and my intentions, but you know that if the situation calls for it I will not be merciful. Swen was planning to betray me and side with his son. That is the reason that Sora's pupil broke through after speaking with him."
"You still shouldn't have killed him."
"An interesting deduction. Tell me why you believe that Nadia."
Nadia approaches Jonas, standing even closer to him than Naruto is. She does a good job hiding her fear during her approach. Naruto feels anxious about a potential ally standing that close to their most powerful enemy. If Jonas were to attack her now there is nothing he could do to save her. Nadia is in very serious danger.
"Because when you hurt Swen you made the most dangerous enemy of all. Me."
Suddenly Jonas disappears from in front of Nadia. He disappears and someone else appears in his place. It is the heavily injured King Hoffman Swen. Naruto doesn't understand what happened, but Nadia quickly tells him what to do. She barks her instructions at him, telling Naruto to start healing Swen right away or he is going to die. Naruto hesitates for a moment while being asked to help a former enemy, but then he runs forward. As he does so he looks at Nadia, wondering how she knows enough about them to plan all of this.
Jonas wasn't placed just anywhere though. His position has swapped with Swen's. That puts him somewhere very dangerous. That puts him right in front of an angry Ming Dai. The emperor also catches a sword moving out the corner of his eye. That sword remains only for a fraction of a second before it is replaced with the Crown Prince Uzumaki Boruto. Boruto has an attack ready. Jonas understands now, this is the result of a pocket-worlder's position switching technique. Nadia orchestrated this trap for him with Ming Dai's inherited telepathic abilities.
Boruto has a golden 'death-fate' Rasengan in his hand. Ming Dai has an 'enhanced' golden 'strength' punch already in motion. This is an attack that could finish almost any warrior who has ever fought in Homeworld. Unfortunately, Jonas is the exception. He places one hand behind his back using Nano-Controlled golden 'destruction' to dispel Boruto's Rasengan. He places the other hand in front of him, 'creating' a small vibrating diamond block to absorb Ming Dai's most powerful attack. With his divine oddity he is unstoppable, even by these two and Nadia.
"Back!" Ming Dai shouts.
The Prince of Gavaria and Prince of Homeworld jump back just in time to avoid a lethal golden 'destruction' strike from Jonas. It was an omni-directional strike, a briefly expanding circle of golden 'destruction' energy. It was an attack that could have killed them, an attack that only required Jonas to draw a small circle with his finger. They imagined that Jonas was incredibly strong since Naruto hasn't been able to defeat him, but they still had no idea that he would be this bad. They start to believe in the prophecy, that he is the foretold god.
Jonas looks at each of his attackers and the shocks on their faces. He feels they are foolish. Even when he was a class 8 the Dark Dimension knew he was an opponent to be feared, an opponent who could change the course of the war. While Safura became known as the strongest class 8, a title she eventually passed to Naruto who then passed it back after becoming class 9, the strongest class 8 ever is Furst Jonas. He knows more techniques than anyone, he has more experience than anyone, of all the many people born in Homeworld nobody is more talented than him.
He turns and looks back to the one who designed this attack, to Queen Hirsch Nadia of Seblix. The Thinking Queen is approaching him again and she seems quietly confident. Jonas suspects that she has another trick-based plan to execute. He doesn't mind. Overcoming all of her plans will only serve as more proof that he is a god. There is nobody who can rival his strength and only one who can challenge his mind, he is happy to battle her all day.
"Do you remember the coup?" Nadia asks.
"Of course."
"You sent me after Akashi and Hinata. My orders were to kill them."
"You obeyed because you were afraid of me."
"I made it look that way. Akashi felt he had failed because I sided with you and not him. I told him that even my plans couldn't be used to defeat you. I told him that I didn't think his strength could beat you either. I was right, he wasn't strong enough to defeat you. But on the other side I was lying just in case you were listening somehow. I've always been plotting to kill you. I knew that the only way I could kill you was to make myself look like your ally. That's why killing Akashi was necessary. That's why fighting against the rebels all this time has been necessary."
"Ah, that has been your real intention all this time. Create a plan that can kill me. You fought the rebellion to gain my trust because you knew that if you sided with them your plan wouldn't work. You were even willing to kill them because you knew that it would earn my trust."
"Yes."
"Very good. That is the real Hirsch Nadia, the genius who saved Seblix from the Tyrant King. So, tell me, how do you plan to kill me?"
"My favourite method for killing people like you is poison."
Jonas nods. "Poison, yes I believe you used that when you fought Akashi. If something like that can work on a class 9 'life' user its possible that it could even work on me. That's good thinking Nadia. Unfortunately, now that you have revealed your plan to me it won't work."
"It already has. I've been poisoning you for years."
"Enough poison to hurt a class 10 warrior? Absurd, I would know by now."
"You have safeguards against poison, I know that," Nadia admits. "You have five food tasters in total, three of them known publicly and the other two secret. Every time I was summoned to the Imperial Palace I would use my 3rd Party Sight to learn a different person's routine. It took years but I learnt everything there was to know about every single person in this place. They all hated you privately, that was my greatest advantage. I told them that I would reveal their thoughts to you. They were all terrified, they agreed to do whatever I said.
"Over the years I used my subordinates' divine abilities and all kinds of tricks to hide their true allegiances. Hiding them from Petra was especially difficult, but not impossible if you use the right combination of methods. Yes, each time harmless ingredients would be delivered to the testers you were using. When combined those ingredients became a deadly poison. You couldn't taste it, you couldn't see it, you couldn't smell it either. There was no way you were going to detect that poison."
Jonas frowns. "I haven't felt the effects of any poison!"
"No you haven't. I have been working with poison experts for years, masters of the element and masters of the craft. The poison I used for you is different. It remains dormant until it is activated remotely. How does it remain active in you for all that time? That is simple, it passes into your bloodstream. The poison has blood-like qualities, it actually replaces your blood. Over these years where you have been consuming that poison can you imagine how much of your blood has been swapped with that poison?"
"Nadia!"
"My estimates are 99.8 percent."
Jonas glances down at his hands before grinding his teeth. For the first time in such a long time he is concerned. He worries that he is going to die.
Nadia smiles. "I was going to wait until we reached one-hundred percent. I was going to ask Swen to increase your heart rate with his 'psychic' energy. You have ruined those plans. You tried to kill Swen. That is why we are doing this now. You only have yourself to blame."
Jonas lunges towards Nadia. The Queen of Seblix clicks her fingers, activating the poison. Jonas is instantly halted in his tracks. He feels great pain as the deadly poison that has replaced his blood circulates his body, being activated after years of being dormant. He cries out in pain as he clutches at his chest. He looks towards Nadia with hatred in his eyes. She was right, her mind has posed a greater threat to him than any opponent's divine energy has ever done.
"His heart," Nadia says to Ming Dai.
Ming Dai runs over to Jonas and begins using his inherited golden 'psychic' energy. He places his hand over the emperor's chest and artificially boosts his heart rate. He is not as skilled at doing this as his father is, but it is enough. He can see the pain in the eyes of the emperor, his inability to resist. He feels a moment of genuine of hope and begins to work even faster. He can see the emperor fading, he can see Nadia's poison working, he can feel freedom for Homeworld just moments away.
Naruto watches from afar, he is distracted from his true task which is healing Swen. He keeps moving golden 'life' around the Lazy King, but it is not as effective. He can only look at one thing. Everyone's eyes are fixed on that same spot. Jonas falls from one knee to two. He then falls back onto the ground with his eyes barely open. Then the moment arrives that he cannot believe. Jonas's eyes close and he stops moving altogether.
Ming Dai takes his hand away from Jonas's chest and falls back onto the floor. He crawls backwards away from the emperor before looking at Nadia.
"You… you did it… it's over right?"
Nadia looks to Boruto. "You're the 'death' expert here. We don't want to take any chances. Make sure he stays dead."
Boruto pauses before nodding. He walks forward and looks over Jonas. The emperor still isn't moving. He can't believe it. He truly believed that his father was the only person who could stop Jonas, but now Nadia has done it too. He realises what this means. If they had never come to Homeworld Nadia would have eventually reached one-hundred percent poison levels. She was going to save Homeworld herself. She would have been Homeworld's hero.
Boruto gathers golden 'death' energy on his hand and moves it towards Jonas's chest.
Boruto is struck away by a powerful kick.
A second later Ming Dai is knocked away.
Nadia starts. "That's impossible!"
Jonas is standing.
"How are you still alive!?"
"Do you not realise that I have mastered tier 3 'destruction' energy and tier 2 'creation' energy. I also have the Nano-Control divine oddity. I can destroy things smaller than you can imagine. I can also create liquids to replace what I destroy. Your plan was remarkable Nadia, nobody has ever come closer to killing me. If these pocket-worlders had not come to Homeworld you would have replaced all of my blood and I would not have these 'creation' powers. Take comfort in that Nadia, if it were not for the rebellion, you could have killed a god."
Nadia lowers her head and exhales. Her artificial 'mind' instincts are telling her everything she needs to know. Now that her plan has failed there is no way to defeat Furst Jonas. That was her best plan. She has devoted more of her life to defeating Jonas than she did the Tyrant King. She gave it her best shot, even fighting Akashi and Naruto to maintain her cover, but she has failed. If it weren't for everyone else getting in the way, if it weren't for Ming Dai's strange powers, she could have saved everyone.
Jonas 'creates' a chair and brings it towards Nadia from behind, hitting her behind her knees and forcing her to sit on it.
"Now watch. This is your punishment for defying god."
Jonas points his hand towards Naruto and Swen, firing a concentrated beam of golden 'destruction' energy at the two of them. The blast knocks them both up into the air while they are too injured to stop their own momentum. They both crash down to the ground without compensating for their falls. Naruto lands and immediately finds that he cannot move. He is lucky to have survived that blast, but he has effectively been paralysed by it. Swen is not so lucky. Naruto can feel it even from thirty meters away. All the lifeforce that Naruto helped Swen to reclaim is slipping away. The Lazy King is at death's door and the 7th Hokage is not much better.
The hopeful members of the rebellion look on and feel truly defeated.
Naruto is almost dead. Swen is almost dead. Boruto is down. Ming Dai is hurt too. Nadia's plan has been ruined. Everyone has already expended energy fighting the royals and the Imperial Guard. Even the strongest class 9s like Hannah and Ashen realise that their opponent is far stronger than they are.
Unless something changes this will be the moment they all remember.
This is the moment the rebellion lost.

Answer: Yes, but the Hive Mind may also return with them.
Question: Does medical ninjutsu replenish divine energy?
Answer: No, as you say 'healing' can do that to some degree. It does still help people with their injuries.

Answer: Slightly, but not to the raw energy that accompanies the element.
Question: Can Tsunade's 'death' energy kill Hashirama?
Answer: In theory, but it is unlikely because Hashirama is stronger.

Who asks how Sarada broke through quicker than Jonas
There were more insights listed on Jonas's tablet than Sarada's.
Also Sarada had the Rinnegan which helped her to absorb the information more quickly.
She did break through in stages, I just didn't say so in as many words.
It was hinted at in chapter 332.
