Noon

Scowling at the screen, Beast Boy tried to enjoy the spaghetti western. He really did.

"Yes?" Raven asked, noticing his fidgeting.

"Nothing," he replied.

"Something up?" Cyborg asked, leaning forward to get a better look at his best friend.

"Nope! I'm good!"

"Then stop fidgeting," the empath instructed.

"Sorry."

And he really did try to stop.

"What?" Raven asked, getting annoyed now.

"Why is it always noon?" he finally asked the room.

"Why is what always noon?" Cyborg asked back.

"When the gunfights happen. It's always High Noon. Why?"

"I dunno, maybe to give everyone time to get somewhere safe?"

"Most likely it's to do with the positioning of the Sun," Robin provided.

"The Sun?" Beast Boy replied, eyebrow arched in bemusement.

"Yeah, if the Sun is above them both, then it's not behind just one of the shooters. It's between them," the masked teen explained.

"Okay. But the Sun isn't necessarily gonna be smack bang in-between them at noon. In some States it's at eleven or one or even two o'clock! Saying 'Noon' is just too generic."

"It's just a movie thing, BB," Cyborg pointed out.

"Still..."

"Let it go. It's not like any of its real any way," Raven tried to placate. "Just think of it as a fantasy or sci-fi."

"Okay... it's still stupid."

"Okay."
