Episode 368: Sora vs Guzma
Several days have passed since the Wallace Cup and departing from Brendan, May, Lisia, and the Alolan nine once again, but Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon all wished them luck along the way. And now they're joined by Raymond and his team on the journey to Pastoria City. Since Sora will be dealing with Water Type Pokémon, he decided to train hard for it. Sora exchanged Bronzor and Prinplup for Snover and Kubfu since he wanted to be ready.
Sora and Raymond got set for their training for the Gym battle. Raymond took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Move right in, Oshawott!" Raymond called out as Oshawott came on out. Sora took out Snover's Pokéball and threw it. Snover calls forth a hail storm hail came on down. Oshawott got hit by the hail.
"Go! Snover!" Sora called out as Snover came on out. "Razor Leaf!" Snover fires Razor Leaf right at Oshawott.
"Dodge and use Razor Shell!" Raymond ordered. Oshawott and used Razor Shell to block Razor Leaf with its scalchop. "Now, use Water Gun!" Oshawott fired Water Gun at Snover.
"Dodge and use Ice Punch!" Sora ordered. Snover dodges Water Gun and came at the sea otter Pokémon and lands a hit onto it. Oshawott got frozen by the attack. "Now, use Ice Shard!" Snover fires Ice Shard right at Oshawott and got struck by the ice attack. Oshawott blocked with its scalchop and then came at Snover again.
"Razor Shell!" Raymond ordered. Oshawott came at Snover with Razor Shell.
"Razor Leaf!" Sora ordered. Snover fires Razor Leaf at Oshawott and makes it drop its scalchop. "Now, use Ice Punch!" Snover lands Ice Punch onto Oshawott and fell on the ground. Raymond calls Oshawott back.
"That was good, Sora. You only had Snover for a short time and you handled it well," Raymond said.
"Handled him well. Kairi says my Snover is a boy," Sora said.
"Really? How can she tell?" Raymond asked.
"She can tell just by how they act. Pokémon are kinda like people. And I can bet my money she can tell which sex are your team," Sora said.
"Cool. Wanna keep going?" Raymond asked.
"Sure," Sora said, calling back Snover and took out a Pokéball. "Bronzor! Go!" Sora threw it and Bronzor came on out.
"A Bronzor! Cool! I think I know which one I'm going with!" Raymond said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Tepig!" Tepig came on out to battle. "Use Flame Charge!" Tepig's tail glows red and then, came at Bronzor with Flame Charge.
"Dodge and use Gyro Ball!" Sora ordered. Bronzor spun around while a light blue ring surrounds Bronzor. It heads towards the fire pig Pokémon to land a hit. They collided with one another. An explosion occurs between the both of them and they stare right at each other.
"Tepig! Flame Charge again!" Raymond ordered. Tepig charged at Bronzor faster than before.
"Dodge it, Bronzor!" Sora called out. Bronzor avoids Tepig's Flame Charge. "Now, use Psychic!" Bronzor uses Psychic on the fire pig Pokémon and sends it flying at a tree. Tepig got struck by the tree. Tepig stood back up and started to evolve. Tepig became a bipedal pig-like Pokémon that appears to bewearingblack spandex tights, similar to a wrestler. Its body is chubby and ovular in shape, and mainly a fiery orange hue. It has brown bands encircling its shoulders, sides, belly, hands, and from the back of its head down its snout. It has yellow bands around its wrists and twisted yellow shapes on its chest. It has two large and brown floppy ears extending from its head and a small, twisted black tail. It has two sharp claws on its hands and one sharp claw on each foot. It has a large pig-like red nose and two sharp teeth that protrude from its lower jaw. "Wow another Pokémon of yours evolved!"
"Yes! Pignite!" Raymond beamed.
"Pignite, huh?" Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned the newly evolved Pokémon.

The more it eats, the more fuel it has to make the fire in its stomach stronger. This fills it with even more power. When its internal fire flares up, its movements grow sharper and faster. When in trouble, it emits smoke.
"So, a Fire Type and a Fighting Type. Why am I not surprised? But still cool!" Sora said.
"My Pignite has learned a new move and I wanna use it! Arm Thrust!" Raymond ordered. Pignite came at Bronzor with Arm Thrust.
"Dodge and use Flash Cannon!" Sora ordered. Bronzor avoids Pignite before he could land a hit onto Bronzor. It fires Flash Cannon.
"Flamethrower!" Raymond ordered. Pignite fires Flamethrower from its nostrils and it collides with Flash Cannon. Another explosion occurs and it affects the both of them.
"That was good, Raymond," Sora said.
"Thanks, Sora. I'm ready to keep on going if you want!" Raymond said. Sora was about to speak when he heard his girlfriend call out his name.
"Sora! Dinner's ready!" Kairi called out.
"We can continue after dinner!" Sora suggested.
"Good call because I'm starving!" Raymond said. Sora, Raymond, and their Pokémon went to join up for dinner as they saw them waiting for them. As the group were eating Raymond was told by Kairi that most of his Pokémon are males while his Pignite is a female. "So my Pignite's a girl. Had no idea."
"Like I said, Pokémon are like people," Sora said.
"So, which one was your first one, Raymond?" Ventus asked.
"The thing is, my Froakie was the first Pokémon I have ever gotten. And since then, I went out of my way to find some wild Pokémon and I ended up with a Fennekin as my first catch. And that's when I met Chespin. I then, went to the Unova region and tried to find some Pokémon that couldn't be found in the Kalos region, so I went to find one that is best suited for me. And that's when I met up with a Snivy. It took me a few days to catch it, but it was totally worth it. Afterwards, I found some punks terrorizing an old lady, so I had my team take care of those cowards. The old lady was running a Pokémon day care. She was so grateful for helping me out, she gave me an egg just to say thanks. And it hatched into a Tepig. A few weeks after that, I came down to a beach to have some fun in the sun and that's when I met Oshawott. After I caught Oshawott, I decided that I should start collecting Gym Badges in the Sinnoh region. Reason for that is I made it my plan to compete in the Sinnoh Pokémon League once I caught my six Pokémon. Our first stop since getting here was at Oreburgh City. The Gym Leader gave me and my Pokémon a run for our money, but it was worth it. It was a thrill traveling in Sinnoh because I got to meet so many trainers and see all kinds of Pokémon. And when I heard you were at Lake Valor, I knew I found my next challenge. I didn't expect to win against you, but I had fun battling you," Raymond explained.
"Sounds like you had quite a journey," Kairi said.
"Yeah. But mine's normal compared to the one you're one. Especially with all these Digimon showing up," Raymond said.
"Have you seen any Digimon by any chance?" Meowth asked.
"Just some who said they knew you when he and she had a tag battle with Gardenia and the blonde girl Lillie. Until I met you lot, they were the only ones I have ever seen. I just wasn't expecting that there were others in our world. And I thought the talking Meowth was one when he opened his mouth," Raymond said.
"Believe me, I thought it was weird before we knew about Digimon," Sora said.
"And you'd get used to it," Kairi said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
Raymond was still finding it hard to believe that there's an evil Digimon planning to take over both worlds. But he knew it was beyond bad that if Myotismon is planning to take both worlds.
Just then, two large lizard-like Digimon that appears to be made of flames. They both wore a metal helmet. One is made of black flames and the other is made of orange flames.
"There they are. Lord Myotismon shall reward us for this," the dark flame Digimon said.
"Let's do this!" The orange flame Digimon agreed as they launched their attack on the group.
"What the?!" Raymond exclaimed.
"Oh no!" Salamon gasped.
"Are those Digimon?" Raymond asked.
"They are," Agumon said. Terra and Aqua each took out their Digidexes and analyzed them.
"One of them is called DarkLizardmon. He's an evil Dragon Digimon with a body of darkness. He's a Champion level Digimon and he attacks his enemies with his Dark Flare," Terra said.
"And the other one is FlareLizardmon. Like Meramon, he has a body made entirely out of fire. Like his evil twin, he's a Champion level Digimon. And he attacks with Flare Buster," Aqua said.
"Lord Myotismon has ordered us to destroy you," DarkLizardmon said.
"So get ready to be burned," FlareLizardmon said.
"I don't think so!" Salamon said as she started to Digivolve. "Salamon Digivolve to... Gatomon!"
"She's Gatomon again!" Ventus said. Gatomon jumped and headed right towards DarkLizardmon. "Lightning Paw!" She lands a punch onto DarkLizardmon.
"Dark Flare!" DarkLizardmon shouted as he fires black flames from his claws.
"Snarl!" A voice shouted as a small Pokémon came to the rescue. It was a small quadruped mammalian Pokémon that resembles a Yorkshire terrier puppy. Its body is covered in tan and brown colored fur. Its face is covered by a scruffy mass of long tan fur. It has pointed ears, large black eyes, and a red nose. It has stubby limbs with three toes on each foot. It has a patch of blackish fur on its back, and a short brown tail. The small puppy growls right at them. DarkLizardmon and FlareLizardmon both laughed.
"Is this supposed to be a joke?" FlareLizardmon asked.
"Ice Fang! Wild Charge!" The voice ordered. Two more Pokémon came right at them. One of them is a a quadrupedal, slightly chubby mammalian canine Pokémon. Most of its body is brown and some parts are dark blue. It has very large ears and what looks like a mustache and forehead hair in the shape of a "W". It has small neat paws and what seems like a blue cover over its body and tail. And the other one is a bulky quadrupedal canine Pokémon. It is particularly fluffy, long-haired, and plump. Its long, thick fur is mostly blue in color with some brown patches. It has a very long "mustache", and a blue cloak of fur over its stout body (which swells slightly towards its rump) and tail. It has small paws and large ears on the top of its head. Also just like Herdier, it too has forehead hair in the shape of a "W". Its back is slightly humped (likely due to the great amount of blubber it likely possesses), with its highest point being towards the center of its back. It resembles a fat Yorkshire Terrier. The second dog Pokémon came at DarkLizardmon with Ice Fang as the large dog Pokémon came at FlareLizardmon with Wild Charge.
"A Lillipup, a Herdier, and a Stoutland," Raymond said.
"Lillipup, Herdier, and Stoutland?" Sora asked, taking out his Pokédex.

It faces strong opponents with great courage. But, when at a disadvantage in a fight, this intelligent Pokémon flees. The long hair around its face provides an amazing radar that lets it sense subtle changes in its surroundings.
Herdier, the Loyal Dog Pokémon
The evolved form of Lillipup
Type: Normal
It has black, cape-like fur that is very hard and decreases the amount of damage it receives. It loyally follows its trainer's orders. For ages, they have helped trainers raise Pokémon.
Stoutland, the Big-Hearted Pokémon

Type: Normal
Stoutland is known for its good nature, intelligence, and trustworthiness. Stoutland is known to rescue people that have been lost in blizzards on mountains and keeps them warm with its shaggy fur. Stoutland are also capable caretakers, so parents leaves their children for Stoutland to babysit.
"A dog Pokémon evolution line," Sora said.
"Where did they come from?" Kairi asked.
"From me!" A voice called out as a young man wearing a uniform came out from nowhere. "You two aren't going to lay a claw on them!"
"And who's going to stop us?" FlareLizardmon taunted. A bunch more of trainers came out. They all had Pokéballs and tossed them. Out came Raticate, Geodude, Graveler, Golem, Rhyhorn, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Duralodon, Copperajah, Mightyena, Cloyster, Sableye, Croagunk, Toxicroak, Zangoose, Makuhita, Growlithe, Arcanine, Machop, Machoke, Machamp, Krabby, Kingler, Corphish, Crawdaunt, Vikavolt, Heracross, Pinsir, Drampa, Obstagoon, Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Ursaring, Electivire, Scizor, Donphan, Corviknight, Hitmonchan, Hitmontop, Hitmonlee, a Golurk, a Darmanitan, a Sneasel, a Weavile, a Druddigon, and some other Pokémon.
There is one that is is a small bipedal humanoid-looking warrior Pokémon. Its body appears to be metallic. It has a round head and appears to be wearing an armored red and gray helmet with a razor-sharp metal blade protruding from its forehead. Beneath its helmet, it has a light gray face, no visible mouth, and beady yellow eyes with small black pupils. Its round chest and abdomen are deep gray with three vertical segments and two sharp metal blades encircling its upper and lower body. It has metallic-red extremities with sharp blades on the ends of its hands and two round white toes on its feet. That one is a Pawniard. Another is a tall humanoid-looking warrior-like Pokémon. Its body is heavily armored and appears to be made of metal. Like the first one, it has a helmet-like red and gray dome on its forehead with a large and very sharp double-edged yellow blade protruding from its forehead and extending down the back of its head. It has small, glaring eyes with black pupils and a yellow face with a visible frowning mouth. Its torso and abdomen are deep gray with three vertical segments and two sharp, crescent-shaped blades encircling its chest and abdominal sections. It has armored red shoulders with thin black arms and glove-like white hands with two fingers and blades on its elbows. Its legs are powerfully-built and red in color, and its feet (which look like armored boots) are white with a vertical segment running through each. That one is Bisharp. Another is a light, blue, compact robot-like Pokémon, with yellow lights and a blue diamond with a spiral pattern on his stomach. It has stubby rocks for feet and big, bulky arms. That one is Golett. Another is a humanoid Pokémon with blue skin. He sports a light blue Gi, a traditional uniform for training and contests in many martial arts. He has two, three-toed feet and he has a very big, bushy, eyebrow on the left side of his face. That one is Sawk. Another is a humanoid Pokémon dressed in a gi, a traditional training and contest uniform among many martial arts. His head is red and has very large eyebrows. He is shorter than the blue Pokémon and has 3 toes that make a triangle shape. That one is Throh. And there is one that is a bipedal, avian Pokémon. Its underside is mostly white with colorful plumage. It has a mask-like face with green markings and orange around its eyes and top of its head with three orange feathers sticking out. Its eyes have black sclera with yellow irises, and the end of its beak is red and has two nostrils. Its back is red and its wings are cape-like with green underside. Its wings have three claws and are connected to its tail. Its feet are yellow with three toes. And that one is Hawlucha.
"Attack!" The trainers ordered. The Pokémon launched their assault on the evil Digimon. DarkLizardmon and FlareLizardmon fought back against them. Sora, Kairi, and Raymond turned to their own Pokémon as they joined in. Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Kubfu, Bronzor, Grotle, Chimchar, Snover, Glaceon, Vulpix, Sandshrew, Hatenna, Happiny, Snivy, Pignite, Oshawott, Chespin, Fennekin, and Frogadier joined the brawl. Agumon and the rest of the Digimon joined the fight along with them. Then, a bunch more DarkLizardmon and FlareLizardmon joined the fight against the Pokémon and the Resistance Digimon. The fight raged on as the Pokémon were being overwhelmed by the might of the DarkLizardmon and FlareLizardmon. Patamon knew they weren't going to win it unless he puts a stop to it.
"Better end this now!" Patamon said as he started to Digivolve. "Patamon Warp Digivolve to... MagnaAngemon!" MagnaAngemon flew up in the air and he extends his sword. "Gate of Destiny!" MagnaAngemon shouted as he opens the gate and the evil Digimon were being sucked in.
"What's going on with them?" Raymond asked.
"MagnaAngemon is using Gate of Destiny. Only those who are his enemies are sucked into the sucked into the gate," Agumon said.
"Where does it take them?" Raymond asked.
"Into oblivion," Agumon said.
Once all of the evil Digimon has been sucked in, the gate closes and it dissolves. MagnaAngemon reverts back to Patamon.
"We won't be seeing them again," Patamon said.
"Hopefully not," Sora said. All of the trainers calls their Pokémon back. "Thanks for the help."
"No thanks necessary. You're just lucky that we were at the right place at the right time," the first trainer said. "And now, we'll be off." The trainers all took off in the opposite direction. Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon didn't know what to make of it, but they knew he was right.
In the Digital World, Myotismon has learned that the DarkLizardmon and FlareLizardmon had failed to eliminate Sora and his friends.
"What?! The DarkLizardmon and FlareLizardmon were destroyed?" Myotismon asked, angrily.
"Yes, master. They had some unexpected help," Impmon said.
"And what news you have on AxeKnightmon?" Myotismon asked.
"Nothing at the moment, but we will get to the bottom of it," Impmon said. "And by we, I do mean me!"
"You better or else, my bats will have a new chew toy! You!" Myotismon threatened. Impmom shook.
"I'm getting started right now!" Impmon said as he ran off. Wizardmon listened in on them and he grinned at how another attempt has failed.
Back in Sinnoh, on the very next morning, Sora and Kairi were next to each other and greeted each other.
"Good morning, Sora," Kairi greeted.
"Good morning, Kairi," Sora greeted back as he kisses her on the lips. "Sleep good?"
"You know I did. Dreaming of you always does that for me," Kairi said.
"Yeah?" Sora asked. Kairi gave Sora another kiss and he returns the kiss. Kubfu is up and is doing some training. "Morning, Kubfu. Can't wait to get started, right?" Kubfu started to evolve. "Kubfu! You're evolving!" Raymond, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon all woke up and they witnessed the newly evolved Pokémon. Urshifu was different from the one Edgar had. Its head and on its legs flows down, while its headband flares forward and outward. Urshifu has its back fist raised, front fist lowered, and front foot lifted off the ground.
"Urshifu," Urshifu said. Urshifu began to use the move it learned after evolving. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned Urshifu

Type: Fighting/Water
It's believed that this Pokémon modeled its fighting style on the flow of a river—sometimes rapid, sometimes calm. This form of Urshifu is a strong believer in defeating foes by raining many blows down on them. Its strikes are nonstop, flowing like a river.
"Like a flowing river," Sora said.
"This Urshifu is different from the one Edgar has," Ventus said.
"That's because it's Rapid Strike Style. The one Edgar has is Single Strike Style," Terra said.
"Cool," Ventus said.
"I think Urshifu might have learned a new move," Sora said, looking over his Pokédex. "Here it is. Surging Strikes!" Urshifu began to give a nearby tree a series of punches and kicks. Water emits from its body. Sora was impressed by Urshifu's skills. "I think you'll do awesome in a battle." Urshifu smiled and bowed.
Over in the Galar region, a Kubfu is sailing across the ocean. Kubfu is with a black simian Pokémon with looks resembling a mandrill or baboon. Its head is shaped like an X, and its eyes are red with green irises and black pupils. It has a grey face pattern and a jutting out jaw with 2 visible nostrils and a furry beard. Its teeth are extremely sharp, with 2 on its upper jaw hanging downwards and sticking out. This Pokémon is a Zarude. They were heading for the Sinnoh region.
Back in Sinnoh, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Raymond, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon were on their way to Pastoria City when they met up with Guzma on the road.
"Hey, you! You a trainer?" Guzma asked.
"That'll be me. What do you want with me?" Sora asked.
"I came here to have a battle with any trainer who comes this way. And you're no exception," Guzma said.
"Okay, how do you wanna do it?" Sora asked.
"We'll make it a two-on-two battle! What do you say?" Guzma asked.
"Okay. Let's started," Sora said. Both trainers got set for their battle. Guzma took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Scizor!" Guzma called out. Scizor came out and crossed its pincers upo entry.
"So, it's a Bug and Steel Type. I know which one I'm using," Sora said, selecting Chimchar's Pokéball. "Go! Chimchar!" He threw it and Chimchar did a stance.
"Scizor! Bullet Punch!" Guzma ordered. Scizor came at Chimchar with Bullet Punch.
"Dig!" Sora ordered. Chimchar dug into the ground to avoid Scizor's Bullet Punch.
"Wait for it to come out and then strike," Guzma said. Scizor looked around for the chimp Pokémon Chimchar came on out and lands a punch onto the pincer Pokémon.
"Use Flamethrower!" Sora ordered. Chimchar fires Flamethrower at Scizor and it causes some heavy damage. Guzma calls Scizor back and takes out his next Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Golisopod!" Guzma called out as Golisopod came on out.
"A Golisopod," Ventus said.
"What's the deal with that Pokémon?" Gomamon asked.
"Golisopod is a Bug Type and a Water Type Pokémon. And that's bad for Chimchar since Chimchar is a Fire Type against a Water Type," Terra said.
"Poison Jab!" Guzma ordered. Golisopod came at Chimchar with Poison Jab.
"Dodge and use Flame Wheel!" Sora ordered Chimchar avoids Poison Jab and then rolls into a ball of fire and head right towards Golisopod. The hard scale Pokémon blocked with its armored scales on its arms and bats the chimp Pokémon. Chimchar does a flip and lands on his feet.
"Pin Missle!" Guzma ordered. Golisopod fires Pin Missle at Chimchar and it deals some damage. "Now, use Liquidation!" Golisopod forms a sword made out of water and heads right towards Chimchar.
"Dig!" Sora ordered. Chimchar dug into the ground to avoid Golisopod's Liquidation. Chimchar came out to land a hit and succeeds. "Flamethrower!" Chimchar lands a Flamethrower in the face and Golisopod got hit hard by Flamethrower.
"Poison Jab!" Guzma ordered. Golisopod came at Chimchar with Poison Jab.
"Dodge and use Scratch!" Sora ordered. Chimchar tried to avoid Golisopod's Poison Jab, but Golisopod came too fast and then he got hit by Poison Jab. Chimchar ends up being poisoned.
"Chimchar's poisoned," Kairi said.
"Chimchar might not last out there if he stays out there," Terra said.
"Liquidation!" Guzma ordered. Golisopod came at Chimchar with Liquidation.
"Dodge with Dig!" Sora ordered. Chimchar dug into the ground to avoid Golisopod's Liquidation, still hurting from the poison.
"Chimchar's gotta come out sometime," Guzma said. Golisopod waited for Chimchar to come on out. Chimchar jumps out behind Golisopod. "Behind you!" Golisopod turned and grabbed Chimchar.
"Flamethrower!" Sora ordered. Chimchar fired Flamethrower in Golisopod's face. Chimchar's body gave off a red aura and Chimchar's flame burned even hotter than before.
"Chimchar's Blaze kicks right in," Aqua said.
"You don't think Chimchar's going to go bananas like with all those Zangoose, do you?" Meowth asked. Raymond looked at Meowth with a puzzled look.
"What do you mean?" Raymond asked.
"Chimchar used to belong to another trainer named Paul. He was pushing Chimchar to get Blaze to kick in after he was up against a whole pack of Zangoose. He sent Chimchar against Sora's Zangoose and he was scared to battle Zangoose because of his fear of Zangoose. So, Paul just abandoned him and walked off," Kairi said. Raymond coulcn't believe there was someone like Paul who just abandons Pokémon who are either useless or weak.
"Chimchar!" Chimchar called out as he got on all fours.
"Flame Wheel!" Sora ordered. Chimchar rolled into a ball of fire, even hotter than before. He heads right towards Golisopod who returned to its Pokéball and Scizor came back out. Scizor is shocked to see Chimchar coming at it and lands a brutal hit. Scizor has been taken down.
"No way!" Guzma said in disbelief. Watching the battle was Paiul who was amazed by the sight. Chimchar then started to evolve. Chimchar has now become a Monferno.
"Chimchar evolved!" The Digimon all said.
"Chimchar's a Monferno now!" Terra said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
"That kid has some spunk. It reminds me of that Riku kid that defeated me and caused me to disband Team Skull. Why is that?" Guzma asked in his thoughts. Monferno fell to his knees. Sora took out Monferno's Pokéball.
"Take five, Monferno. Get some rest," Sora said, calling the playful Pokémon back. Guzma sent out Golisopod back out as Sora took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Go right in, Urshifu!" Sora called out as Urshifu came out to battle. Paul was amazed and jealous that Sora has gotten a hold of a Pokémon like that. Guzma was unphased however.
"Golisopod! Poison Jab!" Guzma ordered. Urshifu simply dodged by going to the left.
"That was Detect," Raymond said.
"Urshifu! Dynamic Punch!" Sora ordered. Urshifu came at Golisopod with a powerful punch attack. Golisopod blocks with its armored scales again.
"Poison Jab!" Guzma ordered. Golisopod lands a Poison Jab onto Urshifu. "Now, use Liquidiation!" Golisopod forms his sword from water and comes at Urshifu. Golisopod brought the water sword down, only for Urshifu to catch it with its bare hands. "What in the hell?" Urshifu breaks
"Use Surging Strikes!" Sora ordered. Urshifu gave Golisopod a series of kicks and punches while emitting water. Golisopod couldn't block in time and resulted in a knockout as Golisopd has fell on its back beaten. Paul was filling with anger as he just stormed off.
"I lost?" Guzma questioned as he calls back his Golisopod.
"Why to go, Urshifu! That was really awesome!" Sora said. Urshifu beamed and bowed in respect to its trainer. Guzma walked up to Sora.
"Not bad, kid. You kinda remind me of another kid I battled around your age," Guzma said. "It right back in Alola."
"You're from Alola?" Sora asked in shock.
"Yes. That kid's name is Riku. I never could forget that name," Guzma said. "I was the boss of the gang known as Team Skull."
"Team Skull?! Wait! If you used to be the boss of Team Skull, does that mean, you're Guzma?" Sora asked. He turned to Sora.
"Yeah. How do you know about me?" Guzma asked.
"I met Riku before and he told me about you and your Team Skull flunkies. Also, we met Plumeria before," Sora said.
"Plumeria?" Guzma asked in surprise. "You battled her too?"
"Yeah, and I beat her," Sora said. Kairi, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua remembered that battle when he and Plumeria battled each other.
"No surprise that she came looking for a tough trainer to battle. You and Riku are pretty much alike," Guzma said.
"So, now what will you do?" Sora asked.
"Probably go and find some more trainers to battle," Guzma said. He turned to Sora. "Oh, and one more thing. There's a Pokémon Center up ahead. So, head there to heal your Pokémon."
"Sure," Sora said.
"Also, tell me your name, just so I'll remember you," Guzma said.
"Sora," Sora answered.
"Sora. I know I won't forget that name," Guzma said.
Guzma took off as the group went to heal Monferno from his poisoning.
Sora was surprised to see that he was battling Guzma without knowing it at first. He didn't seem to the the Guzma Riku told him about. But he decided to let it bother him so much. Also, Pastoria City was just miles away for his Gym battle.
