Episode 379: Trouble On Iron Island!
Shortly after earning his sixth Sinnoh Gym Badge from his recent victory from Byron, he decided to make a call to Lucas about his latest piece of progress.
"Lucas, hey!" Sora greeted.
"Sora! Glad you could call!" Lucas said.
"So, how did you do with Fantina? Give you a hard time?" Sora asked.
"Yeah, she did. And I can tell you, she gave me a hard time you wouldn't believe. So, where are you?" Lucas asked.
"In Canalave City. I just won by sixth Badge," Sora said, showing Lucas his newest Gym Badge.
"Sweet. Did you check out Iron Island yet?" Lucas asked.
"No, we haven't," Sora answered.
"You should check it out. The island is said to be hime to some Steel Type Pokémon living there," Lucas said.
"I think we should check it out and thanks," Sora said.
"No prob. Also, I was wondering if we could have a battle the next time we meet face-to-face," Lucas challenged.
"Sure thing. I would like to see how well you trained since the last time," Sora said.
"Me too," Lucas said. "Anyway, it was awesome, speaking to you."
"Right back you, Lucas," Sora said. "See you when we see you." Both trainers hung up and Sora went to pick up his three Pokémon. "Nurse Joy, how are my Pokémon doing?"
"Your Monferno, Cinderace, and Urshifu are fighting fit," Nurse Joy said.
"Thank you," Sora said. After he took back his Pokémon, he exchanged Urshifu, Rampardos, and Monferno for Skorupi, Thwackey, and Drizzile. Sora is approached by Raymond along with Servine, Pignite, Dewott, Frogadier, Quilladin, and a bipedal fox-like Pokémon; unlike its pre-evolutionFennekin, it nowPokémon, standing upright on two legs. Braixen is covered mainly in bright yellow fur (with a black underside) that resembles a skirt; it has a collar of fluffy white fur below its thin neck and covering on its chest. It has a long pointed snout with a round orange nose, and bright orange eyes, as well as having tufts of bright orange fur sprouting from its ears. It has a branch embedded in its bushy yellow orange-tipped tail, which it uses as a wand to emit blasts of flame. With him is Bobby along with Pansage, Pansear, Panpour, Golett, Tranquill, and a bipedal crocodile-like Pokémon that is similar in many ways to a Sandile. Its body is the same shade of tan; it has a pink belly, with black striping showing through. Its tail is longer, and there are spikes along its spine. Its nostrils are more proportioned to the rest of the face than Sandile, and its hind claws are white. It has three clawed toes on each leg, and its teeth are more prominent, even when the mouth is closed. Its arms are less muscular now, presumably due to walking on only its back legs. Sora saw Raymond and Bobby.
"Guys! Hey!" Sora greeted.
"Hey, Sora! Haven't seen you since Pastoria City," Raymond said.
"So, what brings you two here?" Sora asked.
"A Gym battle," Bobby said.
"Well, you guys will have to wait up on that because Byron had probably already took off with his son," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said. He looked at the fox and crocodile Pokémon.
"Weren't they-?" Sora asked.
"Yeah. My Fennekin is now a Braixen," Raymond said.
"And my Sandile is a Krockorok," Bobby added. Sora took out his Pokédex and scanned Braixen and Krokorok

It has a twig stuck in its tail. With friction from its tail fur, it sets the twig on fire and launches into battle. When the twig is plucked from its tail, friction sets the twig alight. The flame is used to send signals to its allies.

Type: Ground/Dark
They live in groups of a few individuals. Protective membranes shield their eyes from sandstorms. The special membrane covering its eyes can sense the heat of objects, so it can see its surroundings even in darkness.
"When did they evolve?" Sora asked.
"My Fennekin evolved a little while after we parted ways," Raymond said.
"Same for my Sandile," Bobby said.
"Anyway, since you're here, are Kairi and the others here, too?" Raymond asked.
"Yeah, Pikachu and I were about to meet with them," Sora said. Raymond and Bobby went to meet with the rest of the group.
"Raymond, Bobby! So good to see you!" Kairi said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
"Kairi! Ven, Terra, Aqua, and the Digimon!" Raymond said.
"Forget about us?" Meowth asked, gestruing to himself, Pikachu, and Angel.
"We haven't forgotten about you," Bobby said.
"So, did you win a Gym Badge, Sora?" Bobby asked.
"Yeah I did," Sora said.
"We seen first-hand how powerful Byron and his Bastiodon are," Terra said.
"Cool," Bobby said.
What about you, Kairi? Win any Pokémon Contests lately?" Raymond asked.
"I won the Celestic Town Contest," Kairi said, showing them her Ribbons.
"Wow, you just need one more Ribbon," Bobby said.
"You know, there's a Pokémon Contest taking place in Chocovine Town," Raymond said.
"A Contest? I can earn my fifth Ribbon," Kairi said.
"That means your Gym battle will have to wait, Sora," Aqua said.
"That's okay. RIght now, Kairi's Contest is more important," Sora said.
"Chocovine is just on the way to Snowpoint City," Ventus said.
"Right," the Digimon all agreed.
"A friend of ours suggested that we check out Iron Island before we go," Sora said.
"You know, I have been wondering about Iron Island for a while. And it's a good call to see," Terra said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Ventus, Terra, Aqua, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and the Digimon are joined by Bobby and Raymond over to Iron Island.
Speaking of Iron Island, Mars and severs of Team Galactic grunts all have arrived on the island. Several Beautifly, Dustox, and Golbat are flying around.
"Is everything set?" Mars asked.
"Yes, Commander Mars," one of the male grunts said.
"Good. Let's get started," Mars said.
Elsewhere on Iron Island, a young man wearing a blue dress coat and a black shirt with a crest. A hat that is an introverted an emblem omitted. He wore brown pants and black dress shoes. He has a Lucario with him. His Lucario senses something going on.
"Cario," Lucario said.
"What is it, Lucario? What do you sense?" the young man asked.
"Cario, Lucario, Lu, Lucario, Lu," Lucario said.
"You can sense a strange presence on the island?" Young man asked.
"Cario," Lucario answered.
The young man and Lucario went to investigate.
Elsewhere on the island, Steel Type Pokémon were starting to go berserk. Aron and Lairon were attacking several trainers on the island. They had Pokémon with them that doesn't appear to be native to the Sinnoh region. One of the Pokémon is a Druddigon.
One is a large bipedal rabbit-like Pokémon. It has a bulky, muscular build, with a round paunchy belly. Its fur is mainly gray in color, with brown patches (resembling splotches of mud) on the tips of its ears, its feet, its muzzle, and its belly. It has a round face with brown whiskers on its cheeks, a pink triangular nose, and squinted white eyes and a toothy grin. Its large white rabbit-like incisors protrude from beneath its upper jaw. It has extraordinarily long, powerful ears with brown-tipped claw-like digits on the ends; its ears actually function as extremely powerful arms, which it uses to excavate, lift heavy objects, and battle with. Due to its arm-like ears. It has a woolly mass of brown and yellow striped fur around its belly, which it tucks its small paws into. This Pokémon is a Diggersby.
Another is a large, stout, brown buffalo-like Pokémon. It has a voluminous, magnificent Afro atop its head, with two equally large horns protruding from within it. Each horn is encircled by two gold rings. It has a powerfully-built body with shaggy brown fur and a very large hump on its back, presumably used to store fat and muscle. Its pale brown face is distinctly bovine with a gray muzzle and beady yellow eyes. It has large gray hooves and a small tail. This Pokémon is Bouffalant.
Another is an bipedal reptilian lizard-like Pokémon. Its body is mainly orange with a red mohawk-like crest atop its head. It has large eyes with small black pupils, and gray eyelids. It has a deep gray scaly belly with black segments. It has a broad, down-turned mouth with exposed teeth, and small nostrils. It appears to have loose yellowish shed skin on its lower half that resemble baggy pants, which cover its legs and its tail. Its tail has a small red scale at the end. It also has a shed-skin hood around its neck, which it can pull over its face. This Pokémon is Scrafty.
There are several a small aquatic tadpole-like Pokémon. They each have a rounded black body with a tan-colored face. They have a small grinning mouth, round black eyes, and black eyebrows that resemble musical notes. They have round blue dome-shaped blue ears on either side of their heads, and a flat, ovular blue fin-like tail. These Pokémon are Tympole.
There is a blue, ovoid Pokémon resembling living loudspeakers. They have a Tan oval with a black outline on their front, and have small tails that lack a fin. Its feet are small and stubby with just 3 toes. Their outline has 5 bumps, with 2 small bumps easily mistaken for hands and 3 big ones near the top. This Pokémon is Palpatoad.
Another is a a bulky, blue, bipedal toad-like Pokémon. Its underside and the speaker-like bumps found on various parts of its body are cyan with black edges around the belly. Its hands and feet have three bulbous digits. Additionally, It has red eyes, cyan adornments on its legs, and a long tongue. This Pokémon is a Seismitoad.
Another is bipedal weasel or ferret-like Pokémon. It has yellow and maroon fur that piles around its arms and legs like a tunic or monk's robe with long sleeves. It often positions itself in a fighting stance. It has small red eyes and a pointed snout. There are gray oval markings above its eyes. Its legs are red, and its yellow tail has a red tip. It has one small whisker on either side of its face, and small round ears. This Pokémon is Mienfoo.
Another is a is a bipedal weasel-like Pokémon. It has a long, slender body that is mainly pale purple in color; the lower part of its body is a deeper shade of violet. It has a pointed snout with a small black nose, and short triangle-shaped ears. It has whiskers with cream-colored tips. It has squinted maroon eyes, dark purple eyebrows, and a purple oval shape on its forehead. Its arms are almost completely covered by long trailing fur that resembles unbuttoned sleeves. This arm fur can be used like a whip in battle. It also has a band of dark purple around its waist. Its legs are short, but powerfully-built, and it can still use them to gain speed. It has small feet with three white-clawed toes, and a long thin tail with a purple tip. This Pokémon is known as Mienshao.
Another is small, childlike Pokémon. It is mainly khaki in coloring and has a rectangular log with it. It has small pink areas over its body to suggest bulging veins. In battle, it carries a log with both hands on its back.This Pokémon is Timburr.
Another is a a grey hourglass-shaped humanoid with a large, round violet nose. It has hair-like protrusions on its head. Prominent swelling pink veins surround its limbs and chest, as well as its shoulders.It's carrying an I beam girder in its arms. This Pokémon is known as Gurdurr.
Another is bipedal sepia-colored Pokémon resembling an ogre. Its nose is large and red, with its face also having a prominent brow, a wide mouth, a gray tuft on its chin, dark rings around its eyes, and a bulbous feature sticking up from the back of its head. Thick violet bands and tendons adorn its shoulders, chest, back, and thighs. It is holding two concrete pillars. This Pokémon is known as Conkelduerr.
Another is a large bipedal Pokémon that resembles ananteater. It has an elongated snout from which it shoots out fire like a flamethrower. Its somewhat chubby body is primarily reddish orange, like molten magma, with a brown head, brown leggings and long, yellow strands running down its body. It also has long, yellow claws, arm bands around its wrists and a tail that resembles a pipe. This Pokémon is known as Heatmor.
There are several six-legged insect-like Pokémon that resembles ants. Their bodies are made of shiny gray metal. They have sharp mandibles, long gray antennae, and six black legs. They have gleaming red eyes that are squinted, giving it an angry or determined appearance. Their thoraxes and abdomens are powerfully armored with metal exoskeletons. These are known as Durant.
They were doing what they could to reflect the Steel Type Pokémon attacking.
Elsewhere, Devimon, Ogremon, Grumblemon, Ranamon, Arbormon, Mercurymon, and Etemon all arrived on Iron Island.
"Why do we have to come here?" Ranamon asked.
"Because Myotismon says so," Mercurymon stated.
"I have better things to do rather than hang out with the likes of you!" Ranamon said.
"Me too. My feet are hurting," Etemon said.
"Silence, fools! You are in no position to complain! We are here in on an exhibition mission!" Devimon said.
"I hope there's someone here to fight, because I'm itching for some action," Ogremon said.
"Me too!" Arbormon said.
"Me three," Grumblemon said.
Just then, several Steel Type Pokémon began attack. Naturally, the evil Digimon fought them back before they get close.
Over to AxeKnightmon's dungeon, J is raging over AxeKnightmon's revenge. The SkullSatamon were standing guard, making sure they staying put. A few of J's henchmen attempted to escape, only to meet their doom at their boney hands.
AxeKnightmon sat in a chair as Lucemon has entered.
"AxeKnightmon, I know you have been planning something for weeks now, and I feel it's about time you shared what your plan is," Lucemon said.
"Indeed, Lucemon. Nothing could get by you," AxeKnightmon said. "Perhaps we shall return to the human world and allow J to carry on a mission. There have been huge requests for her services."
"You think she'll be willing to follow our orders, after our betrayal?" Lucemon asked.
"Indeed. I shall require the use of your influence into her mind and she'll be our mindless slave," AxeKnightmon said.
"Your plan seems to work in our favor. But what should we do in case VictoryGreymon tracks us down?" Lucemon asked.
"Worry not, Lucemon. Even now, he has no idea where we are hidden. But he and the others will come when they sense us in the real world," AxeKnightmon said.
"So, it's just so you can draw them out," Lucemon said.
"Yes," AxeKnightmon replied.
"And what about Myotismon and his followers? And about the boy Sora and his friends? They will be there as well," Lucemon said.
"We will deal with them as well," AxeKnightmon said.
The group all arrived on Iron Island to explore the island. As soon as they all arrived, they're attacked by the Aron living there.
"Aron!" Sora exclaimed.
"What is going on?!" Raymond exclaimed.
"Something is wrong with them!" Kairi said.
"And what gave that away?" Bobby asked.
The Aron attempted to attack when the Tympole came and shot Bubble on them. The same with Palpatoad and Seismitoad as well.
"What are those?" Ventus asked.
"Tympole and thier evolved forms, Palpatoad and Seismitoad," Bobby said. Sora took out his Pokédex to scan Tympole, Palpatoad, and Seismitoad.

Type: Water
By vibrating its cheeks, it emits sound waves imperceptible to humans and warns others of danger. It uses the rhythm of these sounds to talk.

It lives in the water and on land. It uses its long, sticky tongue to capture prey. When they vibrate the bumps on their heads, they can make waves in water or earthquake-like vibrations on land.
Seismitoad, the Vibration Pokémon
The evolved form of Palpatoad
Type: Water/Ground
They shoot paralyzing liquid from their head bumps. They use vibration to hurt their opponents. It increases the power of its punches by vibrating the bumps on its fists. It can turn a boulder to rubble with one punch.
"Nice save!" Sora said.
Just then, a Steelix came and attacked as Mienfoo and Mienshao had attacked. Sora used his Pokédex on them as well.
Mienfoo, the Martial Arts Pokémon
Type: Fighting
In fights, they dominate with onslaughts of flowing, continuous attacks. With their sharp claws, they cut enemies. They have mastered elegant combos. As they concentrate, their battle moves become swifter and more precise.
Mienshao, the Martial Arts Pokémon
The evolved form of MienfooType: Fighting
It overwhelms its opponents with continuous attacks and then slowly stores up power before delivering the finishing blow. When Mienshao lets out a bizarre wail, you're in danger. A flurry of kicks and chops too fast to see is about to be unleashed!
"Martial Arts Pokémon," Sora said.
An Aggron rushes at them, but Timburr, Gurdurr, and Conkelduerr attacked the iron armor Pokémon. Sora used his Pokédex once again.
Timburr, the Muscular Pokémon
Type: Fighting
It fights by swinging a piece of lumber around. It is close to evolving when it can handle the lumber without difficulty. These Pokémon appear at building sites and help out with construction.
Gurdurr, the Muscular Pokémon

Type: Fighting
They strengthen their bodies by carrying steel beams. They show off their big muscles to their friends. This Pokémon is so muscular and strongly built that even a group of wrestlers could not make it budge an inch.
Conkelduerr, the Muscular Pokémon
The evolved form of Gurdurr
Type: Fighting
They use concrete pillars as walking canes. They know moves that enable them to swing the pillars freely in battle. It is thought that Conkeldurr taught humans how to make concrete more than 2,000 years ago.
"Another evolution line," Sora said.
Just then, a Pawniard and a Bisharp and slashed at a Lairon. Sora points his Pokédex at them again.
Pawniard, the Sharp Blade Pokémon
Type: Dark/Steel
Blades comprise this Pokémon's entire body. If battling dulls the blades, it sharpens them on stones by the river. They fight at Bisharp's command. They cling to their prey and inflict damage by sinking their blades into it.
Bisharp, the Sword Blade Pokémon
The evolved form of Pawniard
Type: Dark/Steel
It leads a group of Pawniard. It battles to become the boss, but will be driven from the group if it loses. Bisharp pursues prey in the company of a large group of Pawniard. Then Bisharp finishes off the prey.
Several more Steel Types attack, so Sora and Kairi had let out their Pokémon and attacked. They had to retreat, but they found there were more Steel Type Pokémon all around. The Durant attacked the a Metang and a Metagross. Sora uses his Pokédex once more.
Durant, the Iron Ant Pokémon
Type: Bug/Steel
Durant dig nests in mountains. They build their complicated, interconnected tunnels into mazes. They attack in groups, covering themselves in steel armor to protect themselves from Heatmor.
"They're taking down that Metang and Metagross down fast!" Ventus said.
Just when there were more Steel Type Pokémon showing up, the young man and Lucario shows up.
"Close Combat, Lucario!" The young man ordered. Lucario heads for the attacking Aggron, giving it some punches and kicks.
"A Lucario," Ventus said.
The young man turned to the group.
"Are you all okay?" The young man asked.
"Yeah, thanks," Sora said.
"There's no time! Let's go!" The young man said. He led the group to another area. Lucario scans the area and sees that it is a safe spot. "Good work, Lucario. This area is safe, so we can take a break."
"That's a relief," Sora said. "Anyway, I'm Sora," Sora introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you, Sora. My names Riley and my partner, Lucario," Riley introduced.
"I'm Ventus, but everyone calls me Ven," Ventus said.
"I'm Kairi and this is Angel," Kairi introduced. "I'm also Sora's girlfriend."
"Eevee," Angel said.
"I'm Terra."
"My name's Aqua."
"I'm Raymond."
"I'm Bobby."
"I'm Agumon."
"I'm Gabumon."
"My name's Biyomon."
"I'm Tentomon."
"I'm Palmon."
"I'm Gomamon."
"I'm Patamon."
"I'm Gatomon."
"I'm Veemon."
"I'm Hawkmon."
"I'm Armadillomon."
"And I'm Wormmon."
"And I'm Meowth. Anyway, you have idea on what's going on here?" Meowth asked.
"A talking Meowth. That's unusual," Riley said. "I'm afraid I don't know, but Lucario and I are investigating the cause for a strange occurence. But here is what I do know. This phenomenon is only affecting Steel Type Pokémon."
"If that's true, then how come it's not affecting Lucario?" Tentomon asked.
"Lucario is using his protective aura to block the strange waves," Riley explained.
"That's clever," Sora said. Sora took a look at Riley and has a striking resemblance to someone he used to know somehow. He just couldn't figure out where or when. He shook it off quickly. There was something he wanted to ask. "Hey, you didn't see any Pokémon that didn't belong here by chance, did you?"
"Only a few. They were probably looking into it same as me," Riley said.
"Then, it'll be what we're going to be doing, too," Sora said.
"I can't let you go along with me, Sora. It may be dangerous," Riley said.
"Kairi, Raymond, Bobby, and I are Pokémon trainers, and we can handle ourselves for what's coing. And the Digimon can lend a hand, too," Sora said.
"He's right. We can't just sit here and do nothing," Raymond said.
"What about us?" Ventus asked.
"I think we'll have to be in a safe place on the island," Aqua said.
"There's a town on the island you three can be safe in. There's a Pokémon Center there you can be safe in," Riley said.
"Okay, that's where we'll be," Terra said. Riley led the group to the path to town where Ventus, Terra, and Aqua all headed as Sora, Kairi, Raymond, Bobby, thePokémon, and the Digimon all joined Riley to find the source of the disturbance.
Over to Team Galactic, they have set everything up with the Spear Key at in some ancient ruins. Several Steel Type Pokémon attacked, but the Beautifly, Dustox, and Golbat all attacked the Skarmory, as the Croagunk attacked the Aron, coming their way. The evil Digimon all stumbled onto Team Galactic's operations. Etemon recogized them greatly.
"It's them! It's those fashion freaks!" Etemon growled.
"You know them, Etemon?" Devimon asked.
"Sadly yeah!" They stole that shiny orb I wanted. Now, I can give them payback they won't forget!" Etemon said. He jumped down and let out a battle cry. Team Galactic were surprised to see him.
"You're that monkey from Celestic Town. I wasn't expecting this," Mars said.
"Oh, you'll be expecting me to knock all that teeth from that pretty little mouth of yours!" Etemon said, cracking his knuckles.
"Purugly, Shadow Ball!" Mars ordered. Purugly fires Shadow Ball at the monkey DIgimon. He grolws and prepares a green and black orb of energy.
"Dark Network!" Etemon shouted. The two attacks collides with each other.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Raymond, Bobby, Riley, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Lucario, and the Digimon, they race to find the source of the disturbance. Lucario informed them that they're getting close.
"Lucario's saying we're getting close. Someone is doing this. And there is a prescence that he's not familiar with," Riley said.
"I hope it's not what I think it is," Sora said.
The Golbat all fire their air cutter at Etemon, but he was too quick for them. He pounces on them, but some of the Croagunk fires Sludge Bomb at him. Etemon dodges their attacks.
Arrving on the scene, Sora, Kairi, Riley, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Lucario, and the DIgimon spotted Team Galactic on the scene and they were fighting Etemon.
"Another one," Kairi said.
"Look! It's them again!" Patamon said.
"Them who?" Bobby asked.
"Who are they?" Riley asked.
"It's Team Galactic. They're some bad guys that are after Palkia and Dialga," Sora said.
"Not only them, but Etemon too!" Biyomon said.
"Another Digimon?" Raymond asked.
"Lucario must have been sensing Team Galactic and Etemon," Kairi said.
"Is this Etemon a friend of thiers, Lucario?" Riley asked. Lucario shook his head. Lucario could see in their aura that he is an enemy of theirs.
"This must be the source of the disturbance," Riley said.
"Let's just hope he's the only one, because the last thing we need is another evil Digimon showing up," Sora said.
"Oh, but hope is fleeting," a voice spoke. They turned around to see Mercurymon, grinning at them.
"Mercurymon!" Agumon snarled.
"I knew thou woulst come by sign of Team Galactic," Mercurymon said, chuckling.
"What do ya want there, shiny?" Meowth asked.
"An ignorant question from such an ingnorant creature. Perhaps I shall enlighten thee. There is a great force here, and lord Myotismon wishes to acquire it for himself," Mercurymon said.
"Not if we have anything to say about it!" Meowth said, heading towards the Warrior of Steel. "Here comes my Fury Swipes!" Mecurymon raises his mirror.
"Thou art a fool! Dark Reflection!" Mecurymon shouted, sending Meowth back.
"Meowth!" Sora gasped. He turned to Mercurymo and growled. "Pikachu! Thunderbolt!"
"PIKACHU!" Pikachu shouted as he sending out Thunderbolt, but Mercurymon reflects it back.
"Dark Reflection!" Mercurymon shouted, sending Pikachu's own Thunderbolt back and struck him. Angel gasped. Kairi took out her Digidex and analyzed him.
"Okay, Mercurymon. He's a mutant Digimon. He's the Warrior of Steel. He has mirrors on his body that reflects an opponent's attacks right back at them," Kairi said.
"Thou art clever, child. But that knowledge won't do thee any good," Mercurymon said.
"We can handle him!" Agumon said.
"I anticipated thy little Mötley Crüe would band together; so I came prepared," Mercurymon said, calling forth Ranamon, Grumblemon, and Arbormon. "Now, meet my fellow warriors. Warrior of Earth, Grumblemon. The Warrior of Water, Ranamon. And the Warrior of Wood, Arbormon!"
"You guys are in trouble if you think we're going to stand down!" Agumon said.
"Me smash you good!" Grumblemon said, taking out his hammer and comes at them. "Seismic Sledge!" Lucario fires Aura Sphere at him. The Digimon all Digivolve.
"Agumon Digivolve to... Greymon!"

The two sets of Digimon all faced each other.
Greymon, "Nova Blast!" Greymon fires a fireball at Mercurymon. He raises his shield and sends it back to him.
Angewomon, "Celestial Arrow!" Angewomon fires an arrow at the warrior Digimon.
Arbormon, "Roundhouse Punt!" He smasks Kabuterimon, Aquilamon, and Stingmon.
Ikakkumon, "Harpoon Torpedo!" He fires at his attack and Arbormon avoids it.
Grumblemon, "Seismic Sledge!" He swings his hammers at Ikkakumon.
Ranamon, "Draining Rain!" He summons a rain cloud and sends it right the Digimon, sapping their strength.
Garurumon, "Howling Blaster!" He fires his attack.
Veedramon, "V-Nova Blast!" He fires his attack at them as well.
Togemon, "Needle Spray!"
Birdramon, "Meteor Wing!"
Aquilamon, "Blast Rings!"
Ankylomon, "Tail Hammer!
Stingmon, "Spiking Strike!"
Angemon, "Hand of Fate!"
Angewomon, "Celestial Arrow!"
Greymon, "Nova Blast!"
Garurumon, "Howling Blaster!"
Kabuterimon, "Electro Shocker!"
The Digimon all launched their attacks at the warrior Digimon. Grumblemon, Ranamon, and Arbormon started to transform.
"Arbormon Slide evolution... Petaldramon!"
"Grumblemon Slide evolution... Gigasmon!"
"Ranamon Slide evolution-" Ranamon shouted as she transforms into a woman-like Digimon with a squid bottom, "Calmaramon!"
"Sora, you and Kairi go an deal with Team Galactic! We'll take care of them!" Angewomon said.
"Okay," Sora said.
Sora, Kairi, Riley, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, and Lucario went off to deal with Team Galactic while the Digimon dealt with the Warrior Digimon.
Over to Etemon, he continued to battle Team Galactic. He swings his fists at the Golbat, Beautifly, and Dustox. A Steelix comes and grabs him.
"Hey! Let go of me!" Etemon yelped. Steelix slams Etemon on the ground. Etemon started to feel the waves kicking in as Etemon started to change. "What's going on with me?!" He screams as he glows. He has taken a new form. His whole body is made of metal. His left wrist has three belts and screws in his ears, right shoulder, and knuckles. He has gold teeth and wears a gold medallion.He has a Japanese Kanji reading "Strongest." He laughed as he looks at his new form. "Yes! I Digivolved!"
"What just happened? He Digivolved," Devimon said.
Sora, Kairi, Raymond, Bobby, Riley, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth shows up the Team Galactic squad.
"Team Galactic!" Sora called out.
"You again? You are can be such a nuisance when you want to be," Mars said.
"We have that habit of getting to evil villains," Sora said.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"You cannot stop what has already begun," Mars said. She took the Spear Key and placed it to the hole and activated the ruins. A beam of light shoots straight up and heads for Mount Coronet. The metoerites in Veilstone City were even effected.
Professor Rowan's lab was even picking it up.
"Sir! We're picking up some unsual energy from Mount Coronet!" A researcher said. Professor Rowan didn't know what to say, but he knew it was not a good sign.
Over in Celestic Town, Carolina and her crew were even picking it up.
"What is going on?" A scientist asked.
"I don't know, but I know we must inform the other research facilities about this!! Carolina said.
Over to the fight, Mercurymon reflects Stingmon's attack with Dark Reflection.
"Have at thee!" Mecurymon said coming at Stingmon.
Petaldramon, "Leaf Cyclone!" Petaldramon fires Leaf Cyclone at Togemon, Ikkakumon, and Ankylomon.
Angemon, "Hand of Fate!" Angemon fires his attack at Petaldramon.
"That didn't even hurt!" Petaldramon said, smacking Angemon.
"Agemon!" Angewomon gasped as Calmaramon has grabbed her with a tentacle.
"Going somewhere, blondie?" Calamaramon asked. She takes in a deep breath. "Acid Ink!' She fires ink at the female angel Digimon. She laughs at Angewomon's pain. "Let's see how pretty you're going to be after I get done with you!" She poisitioned herself to finsh her off. "Titanic Tempest!! She rotates around like a drill and heads right down to finish her off. Angemon rushes in.
"Agewomon!" Angemon shouted as he started to Digivolve. "Angemon Digivolve to... MagnaAngemon!" He swipes his weapon at her and saves her.
"Why you!" Calamaramon hissed.
"Are you alright, Angewomon?" MagnaAngemon asked.
"Yes, thanks to you," Angewomon said.
"Not for long! Tetonic Slasm!" Gigasmon jumps and brings his fists down to strike him.
"Grand Horn!" Aquilamon shouted, slamming into Gigasmon, saving them both.
"You pay for that, bird!" Gigasmon yelled.
Over to the trainers and Pokémon, Pikachu, Angel, Meowth, Lucario, Cinderace, Thwackey, Drizzile, Shieldon, Skorupi, Lopunny, Flareon, Jolteon, Glaceon, Leafeon, Servine, Quilladin, Pignite, Braixen, Dewott, Frogadier, Pansage, Panpour, Pansear, Tranquill, Krockorok, and Golett launched their assault on the Team Galactic Pokémon.
"Don't let them interfere with our objective! The new world depends on it!" Mars said.
Over to Team Galactic HQ, the reports have come in.
"Cyrus, sir, we're picking up massive energy readings from Iron Island and right to Mount Coronet," a grunt reported.
"Excellent. Tell Mars to stay put and await further instructions," Cyrus instructed.
"Yes, sir," The Team Galactic grunts said.
The battle against Team Galactic and the heroes continues on as well as the Digimon fought it out against Mercurymon, Gigasmon, Calamaramon, and Petaldramon. The newly Digivolved Etemon shows up and laughed. Sora, Kairi, Riley, Raymond, and Bobby saw him for the first time.
"Don't think you seen the last of me, because I'm with a vengeance!" The metal monkey said.
"Etemon?" Sora asked.
"I used to be Etemon, son, but that was a long time ago! Now, I'm MetalEtemon!" MetalEtemon introduced himself.
"This is what we need, new and unimproved," Meowth said.
"You would say that, but I ain't the same as ai was the last time! Now, I'm going to get my revenge on all of you! Starting with you two!" MetalEtemon said. Greymon saw MetalEtemon.
"Sora! Kairi! I have to help them!" Greymon said. He jumped as he started to Digivolve.
"Greymon Warp Digivolve to... WarGreymon!" WarGreymon heads right towards MetalEtemon and he slashed his gauntlet claws at him. "What the?!"
"Don't think you can phase me that easily, because I'm made of Chrome Digizoid, too! Too bad the soft inside isn't!" MetalEtemon said.
"I'll still take you, MetalEtemon!" WarGreymon said. "Dramon Killer!" He slashes at MetalEtemon again.
"My turn! Metal Punch!" MetalEtemon gave WarGreymon a punch. WarGreymon turned to Sora.
"Sora, Kairi, go to Mars! Stop her!" WarGreymon said.
"Right!" Sora and Kairi said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
Sora, Kairi, Riley, Raymond, Bobby, and the Pokémon continued on with their battle.
Speaking of which the other Digimon were still duking it out.
"Care to surrender?" Mercurymon asked.
"Not on your life, Mercurymon!" MagnaAngemon said. He draws his blade to make his gate. "Gate of Destiny!" The gate opens and fires a rainbow beam. Mercurymon absorbs the blast with and sends it right back at him. MagnaAngemon is struck hard.
"Unless we Digivolve further, we're done for," Veedramon said.
"You're right, Veedramon. We gotta do it!" Garurumon said. Garurumon and Veedramon started to Digivolve. "Garurumon Warp Digivolve to... MetalGarurumon!"
"Veedramon Warp Digivolve to... UlforceVeedramon!"
MetalGarurumon and UlforceVeedramon came at the Warrior Digimon.
"Thou can't win! Have at thee!" Mercurymon said. He lunges at UlforceVeedramon with great force.
"Have at thee, mirror boy!" UlforceVeedramon said. "Victory Sword!" He swings his sword at the Warrior of Steel. MetalGarurumon flew right at Gigasmon, Calamaramon, and Petaldramon.
"Grace Cross Freezer!" MetalGarurumon shouted, firing freezing missles at them. Gigasmon, Calamaramon, and Petaldramon all got hit by the hit and they reverted back to Grumblemon, Ranamon, and Arbormon.
"They're too strong for us!" Ranamon said.
"Let's get out of here while the getting's good!" Arbor said.
"Good idea!" Grumblemon agreed.
The Warrior Digimon all started to flee. Mercurymon saw he was at a disadvantage and he took off as well.
"The battle is yours, whelps, but next time, it shall be ours!" Mercurymon said.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Riley, Raymond, Bobby, Pikachu, Angel, and Meowth, they made to Mars to battle her.
"Mars!" Sora called out.
"You won't stop us! Purugly! Fury Swipes!" Mars ordered. Purugly heads right at Sora and Pikachu. Sora took out a look at Thwackey and nodded.
"Go! Thwackey!" Sora called out. Thwackey came on out. "Double Hit!" Thwackey came at Purugly and landed a couple of hits.
Over to WarGreymon and MetalEtemon, the two of them continued the fight as Ikkakumon came charging at the metal monkey.
"Harpoon Torpedo!" Ikkakumon shouted as he fires his attack while running. MetalEtemon took out a banana peel.
"Banana Slip!" He threw his banana and Ikkakumon slips. Ikakkumon started to Digivolve.
"Ikkakumon Digivolve to... Zudomon!"
"Digivolve as much as you want, because nothing you do will be enough!" MetalEtemon said.
"Vulcan's Hammer!" Zudomon shouted as he slams his hammer on the ground and a bolt of lightning heads towards MetalEtemon, but does nothing.
"Ha! That didn't even phase me! I'm made of Chrome Digizoid; the hardest metal there is!" MetalEtemon boasted.
"Then, try this! Hammer Boomerang!" Zudomon shouted, throwing his hammer.
"No matter what you attempt, it's useless! I'm invincible!" MetalEtemon boasted. He gets struck by the hammer and started to break. "I'm coming apart! This is terrible! I lost my luster! Why does this keep happening to me?!"
"Because my hammer is also made from Chrome Digizoid metal! I'm afraid it's not your moment to shine!" Zudomon said.
"This can't be!" MetalEtemon exclaimed in outrage.
"Dramon Killer!" WarGreymon shouted.
"Uh-oh," MetalEtemon said as WarGreymon lunged his right gauntlet claw into his chest. MetalEtemon screams as he sees the hole in his chest. "THIS ISN'T HAPPENING! I'M TOO IMPORTANT TO DIE! YOU'LL PAY BIG TIME!" He dissolves into bits of data.
Devimon and Ogremon were watching the fight and Devimon grinned.
"MetalEtemon gambled and lost," Devimon said.
"What just happened?" Ogremon asked.
"MetalEtemon's ultimate undoing was his ego and his desire for revenge. I doubt lord Myotismon will take this will a smile," Devimon said, leaving with Ogremon. Mercurymon, Grumblemon, Ranamon, and Arbormon all vanish as well.
"Purugly! Shadow Ball!" Mars ordered. Purugly fires Shadow Ball right at Thwackey.
"Dodge and use Razor Leaf!" Sora ordered. Monferno fires Razor at Purugly. Pikachu and Angel sneaks to the machine and attempts to destroy it, but several Beautifly and Dustox takes the hit. Kairi, Riley, Raymond, and Bobby saw the Team Galactic grunts, so they engaged them. Heatmor comes along and assists them. A few Golbat fires Air Cutter at Heatmor, but it uses Fire Lash on them.
"Fury Swipes again!" Mars ordered. Purgly comes at the monkey-like Pokémon and scratches him.
Pikachu and Angel try again, but there were Team Galactic Pokémon getting in the way. Several Pokémon from before lends a hand to assist the battle. Heatmor and Druddigon deals with the Golbat without any problem. Pikachu destroys the machine and the Steel Type Pokémon all go back to normal. The machine explodes, making the Spear Key fly out. A Golbat catches it and retreats.
"Pika!" Pikachu said proudly. Mars turned to see the Pokémon Couple
"The machine!" Mars exclaimed. Golbat dropped the Spear Key into her hands. "As long as we have this, we're still in control."
"What are you going on about?" Sora asked.
"Nothing you need to concern yourself over, little boy," Mars said. She makes contact with Team Galactic HQ. "Mars to HQ. The machine is lost and we are at a disarray. Awaiting orders." She listened carefully. She grinned. "Understood." She turned to the rest of the grunts. "Begin the retreat!"
"Sir!" The grunts all said. They call back the Pokémon and headed to the helicopters. But a few grunts placed explosives in the ruins nearby.
"Looks like our score will be settled at another time, kid," Mars said.
"You're not going to go anywhere!" Sora said.
"Yes I am. Because we have just planted bombs right here on the island!" Mars said, holding up the detonator. "Follow me and this whole place goes up in the sky, and you with it!"
"You're bluffing!" Sora said.
"I don't bluff! What's it going to be? Save the island and everything on it, or stop me? Either way, you lose," Mars said. Given the little choice he has, he had no choice but to let her go.
"Okay, you win," Sora said.
"Smart decision, Sora," Mars said. She retreats to board the helicopter. Kairi, Riley, Raymond, Bobby, the Pokémon and Digimon all came to Sora.
"Why did you let her go?" Meowth asked.
"Mars says there are bombs on the island!" Sora said.
"Bombs are the last thing we need to deal with!" Kairi, Raymond, Bobby, Meowth, and the Digimon all cried.
"We gotta off the island! Can't you Digimon just Digivolve and fly us out?!" Meowth asked.
"Wish we could, but we're too drained from the fighting to do a thing," Tentomon said.
"And even if we could, we couldn't move everyone out in time!" Hawkmon said.
"So, we're dead!" Raymond said.
"Not yet! Lucario and I will try to prevent that!" Riley said.
"Take me with you! I can help!" Sora said.
"How?" Riley asked.
"Cario," Lucario said.
"What?" Riley asked.
"Lucario, Lucario, Lucario, Lu," Lucario said.
"If you say so, then I trust you," Riley said. He turned to Sora. "Come on, Sora! Let's go!"
"Right!" Sora said. Kairi grabs Sora's hand real quick and gave her boyfriend a kiss on the lips, just in case it was going to be the last kiss they ever have.
Sora, Riley, Pikachu, and Lucario rush to the scene as Kairi, Angel, and the rest all stay behind.
Over to the helicopter, Mars is still holding the bomb detonator.
"I'll detonate as soon as we're in a safe distance," Mars said.
Sora, Riley, Pikachu, and Lucario found the bombs in the ruins after finding out where they were. They attempted to pull the bombs off, but none of them were budging.
"They won't move! They're on too tight!" Sora said.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Even if we could, we won't be able to move them all in time," Riley said.
"Cario," Lucario said.
"We must use our aura to contain them when they go off," Riley said.
"That's something I never tried before," Sora said. Riley looked at him.
As soon as the helicopter was at a safe distance, Mars pushes the button. The island started to rumble. In the Pokémon Center on Iron Island, the ground shakes as Terra and Aqua held Ventus tight, not letting go. Aqua held him the tightest, but Terra held Aqua just as tight.
Everyone braced themselves as the ground shakes.
"They detonated the bombs?!" Raymond said.
"We're alive?" Kairi asked.
"No boom?" Meowth, Veemon, Patamon, and Wormmon asked.
"How is it possible?" Gatomon asked.
It turns out the explosion is being contained by Sora, Riley, and Lucario.
"I had no idea you were an Aura User, too!" Riley said, holding the explosion.
"Didn't think you'll believe me," Sora said, holding on as well. "But I don't think we can hold on for long!"
"I know, but we have to try!" Riley said.
Over to the helicopter, she repeatedly presess the button.
"Why the hell aren't there any explosions?! Mars exclaimed. The pilot checks the radar.
"The sensors are indicating the explosions are taking place," the pilot said.
Back on the island, Kairi looked at the entrance of the ruins.
"Sora!" Kairi cried.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
Inside, Sora, Riley, and Lucario were still holding. But they were losing grip fast.
"We have to get this away from the island now!" Sora said.
"Agreed!" Riley said.
Sora, Riley, and Lucario threw the the explosion into the sky, shattering the roof. The explosion concluded in the air.
"Location, location," Meowth said.
"Sora!" Kairi cried.
"Look!" Raymond said. Sora, Riley, Pikachu, and Lucario came out, exhausted from the excessive use of aura. Kairi ran up to her boyfriend and hugged him tight. He hugged her back.
"Are you okay?" Gomamon asked.
"Yeah. That explosion was way more powerful than any of us thought," Sora said.
"Indeed. But all's well that ends well," Riley said.
After the matter was settled, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua rushed to see if it was over. Sora explained that it was Team Galactic's handy work, and Etemon had come along once again. But the good news is, Etemon wasn't going to be a problem anymore.
Over to Myotismon in his hideout, he was informed by Devimon about Etemon's demise.
"Etemon was destroyed?" Myotismon asked.
"Yes, my lord. Etemon had Digivolved into MetalEtemon, but even with his newfound power, he still met his end at the hands of WarGreymon," Devimon said.
"I see. Continue to keep an eye on them and strike again if the need shall arrive," Myotismon said.
"At once, my lord," Devimon said.
"In the meantime, Devimon, be sure that Etemon's demise is set as example for any future failures," Myotismon instructed.
"I shall do so, master," Devimon said.
Back on the island, the sun was setting. The Pokémon helping them out had all vanished. Carolina was arrving on the scene by helicopter.
"Carolina!" Sora greeted.
"Hello again!" Carolina said. SHe turned to the ruins nect to them.
"So, that's it," Carolina said.
"Yeah," Sora said.
"The Iron Ruins," Carolina said. :It really does exist." They all enter the ruins to have an examination. "Amazing! This machine is made from the same compound in Veilstone City!"
"Veilstone City?" Ventus asked.
"They made the machine from the metoers they stole from the park?" Aqua asked.
"Almost certainly," Carloina answered. "It's been said that Iron Island originally an ancient metoer, long ago."
"If the isand was made from metoers, does that say the same for the ruins?" Riley asked.
"I'd say so. Both the Iron Ruins and this machine aregiving off a special frequency. These two frequencies must have resinated, creating a soundwave that caused the Steel Types to go berserk," Carolina said.
"That explains alot," Terra said.
"And since the island was made from the same kind of metoers from Veilstone City, Team Galactic were able to pinpoint the location of the Iron Ruins, by using this. This machine is the radar," Carolina said, walking up to it. She places her hand on the surface. "Not only that, but it is also rumored to reveal the location of Spear Pillar, which is necessary to summon Palkia and Dialga into this world."
"What's the Spear Pillar?" Ventus asked.
"It is a place located somehwere in the Sinnoh region," Carolina said.
WIth that said, Riley had volunteered to give his services to help with the research on Iron Island.
Over to the band of trainers, they call back their Pokémon and set off to find Mytotismon.
"Good cal on that protective barrier around Pawniard, Bisharp, and the Durant. You were right," one of the trainers said.
"It never hurts to think ahead. Now, come on, we got work to do," the leading trainer said.
Over to Team Galactic HQ, Maars kneeled before Cyrus.
"I know the plan to obliterate the Iron Ruins was a failure, but I beg for your forgiveness, Master Cyrus," Mars said.
"A failed mission is nothing but a temporary setback. Regardless, we must move forward," Cyrus said. "So, Saturn, the excavation of Spear Pillar will be led by you."
"As you wish, Master Cyrus," Saturn said.
Even though Team Galactic had failed to find the location of the Spear Pillar for now, but what sort of plan does this evil organization have?
