Episode 386: A Pyramiding Rage!
Where we last left off, Sora had just won his seventh Gym Badge from Candice. Lucas is having his battle right after Sora, but an unexpected and familiar face shows up. And that face belongs to Paul.
"You're going have to wait your turn! Because I challenged her first!" Lucas stepped in.
"He is right. You will have to wait your turn if you want to battle against me," Candice said.
Paul scoffed, "Whatever." He spotted Sora again and he's filled with hateful rage upon seeing him again. "So, the phony Champion grazes us with his presence."
"Phony Champion? Who do you think you are?" Riku asked, angrily.
"You can't talk to Sora that way!" Lucas said.
"I'm calling it as I see it!" Paul said, walking off. Sora shook his head in disbelief.
"Who is that?" Zoey asked.
"Paul. He's Sora's rival," Kairi said.
"And I may add, he's very disrespectful," Aqua said.
"You and Zo-Zo are rivals as well, Kairi," Candice pointed out.
"Not like me and Riku," Sora said.
"Vee," Eevee said.
Over in the Pokémon Center, Sora and the rest fills Riku, Naminé, Lusas, Dawn, and Zoey of the situation about Paul.
"What? Mytoismon is using him?" Riku asked.
"Yeah. I don't know what he did to him," Sora said.
"It's bad enough he's here, but he's using Paul as a puppet? That's just wrong!" Lucas said.
"Just how do you know, Sora?" Zoey asked.
"I looked into his aura and saw it for myself. It had to be after the Hearthome Tag Battle Tournament," Sora said.
"Looked into his aura?" Zoey asked.
"Maybe we should fill in the gaps on that. Sora is actually an Aura User. I saw his aura powers in action when he saw his mom in danger," Kairi said.
"An Aura User?" Dawn asked.
"Yeah. It turns out my bloodline had it. My dad, his dad before him, and right down to Sir Aaron," Sora said.
"Sir Aaron? Wait, you mean, you're actually descended from Sir Aaron?" Lucas asked.
"My mom always told me that old story when I was little," Dawn said.
"Mine too," Lucas said.
"I never would have imagined we were speaking with his descendants," Zoey said.
"Isn't Ven descended from Sir Aaron, too?" Dawn asked.
"No. Ven was born from Sora's mom's side of the family," Kairi said.
"Yeah. My dad is his mom's brother," Ventus said.
"But how come you two look so much alike?" Zoey asked.
"Don't know," Sora said.
"So, what's the deal with Paul's attitude? I mean, I know he's a jerk and all," Zoey said.
"And you're right. You saw Monferno in action, right?" Terra asked.
"Yeah, what about it?" Zoey asked.
"Monferno used to be Paul's Pokémon when he was a Chimchar. That was until Paul just abandoned him," Terra said. Zoey was shocked and appalled that he just abandoned his own Pokémon just like that.
"He just abandoned his own Pokémon?! Why?!" Zoey exclaimed.
"Paul has a hobby of doing that just so he could get hold of strong Pokémon. Any weak Pokémon he just let's go," Kairi said.
"He didn't care about any of his Pokémon. I got a taste of that when he challenged Cynthia and lost," Riku said.
"I even saw that when I was teamed up with him," Lucas said.
"But his attitude isn't what got us worked up," Sora said.
"What?" Zoey asked.
"We had a look at his Pokémon and we saw that their eyes were glowing red. I wasn't sure what it was," Sora said.
"So, Sora thinks Myotismon did something to him that made go berserk and accuse Sora of being a phony Champion," Ventus said. "That wasn't true because I was there at those tournaments!"
"Sora tried to get Paul to see that he's being used," Terra said.
"And that didn't turn out so well," Meowth said.
"Just how will we snap Paul out of it?" Dawn asked.
"That's a hard question to answer," Riku said.
"Vee," Eevee said.
On the very next day, Lucas was having his Gym battle with Sora and his friends watching. Dawn was wearing her cheerleader outfit.
"The Gym battle between Lucas of Twinleaf Town and the Gym Leader, Candice is about to begin! Both trainers will be using four Pokémon each. Only the challenger will allowed to substitute Pokémon! Let the battle begin!" The referee announced.
"You're in first, Sneasel!" Candice called out, letting her Sneasel battle.
"Go! Grotle!" Lucas called out.
"Grotle is at a disadvantage. Grotle is a Grass Type," Zoey pointed out.
"Yeah. What is he planning?" Sora asked.
"Sneasel! Metal Claw!" Candice ordered.
"Energy Ball!" Lucas ordered. Grotle fires Energy Ball and lands a hit onto Sneasel.
"Now, use Icy Wind!" Candice ordered.
"Razor Leaf!" Lucas ordered. Grotle quickly fires Razor Leaf at Sneasel. The sharp claw Pokémon lands on an ice boulder. "Now, use Rock Climb!" Grotle ran towards Sneasel.
"Get outt of the way!" Cndice called out. It was too alte, because Grotle has landed a hit onto Sneasel, earning a knockout.
"Sneasel is unable to battle! Grotle wins!" The referee announced. Lucas calls Grotle back as back her Sneasel. "Your Kiyah is strong, Lucas. Okay, Medicham, show us your Kiyah!" Medicham came on out to battle. Lucas took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Staraptor!" Lucas called out.
"Now, Lucas is using Staraptor against Medicham," Ventus said.
"Yeah, but don't forget that Medicham knows Ice Punch," Meowth said.
"How is he going to manage?" Naminé asked.
"Staraptor! use Quick Attack!" Lucas ordered. Staraptor comes at Medicham with Quick Attack.
"Medicham! Use Psychic!" Candice ordered. Medicham slams Staraptor with Psychic.
"Aerial Ace!" Lucas ordered. Staraptor dashed to land a hit onto Medicham.
"Stop it, Medicham!" Candice ordered. Medicham uses Psychic to stop Staraptor.
"Use Close Combat!" Lucas ordered. Staraptor gave Medicham some pecks and kicks from Close Combat.
"Use Ice Punch!" Candice ordered. Medicham uses Ice Punch onto Staraptor. Both Pokémon took a heavy blow.
"Staraptor! use Brave Bird!" Lucas ordered. Staraptor came at Medicham with Brave Bird and landed a hit onto the meditate Pokémon, earning a knockout.
"Medicham is unable to battle! Staraptor wins!" The referee announced. Both trainers calls their Pokémon back for a rest.
"How was that, Candice?" Lucas asked.
"That was impressive, Lucas. And now, it's time for my third Pokémon! Go! Snover!" Candice called out, letting out her Snover. Lucas thought about who to use next and then, he made his decision.
"Go! Gliscor!" Lucas called out. Gliscor came on out to battle.
"Ready or not, here I come! Razor Leaf!" Candice ordered. Snover fires Razor Leaf at the fang scorpion Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Fire Fang!" Lucas ordered. Gliscor dodges and lands a feiry bite with Fire Fang. Gliscor lands ahit with his tail.
"Use Ice Beam!" Candice ordered. Snover fires Ice Beam at Gliscor. "Use Bullet Seed!" Snover fires Bullet Seed at Gliscor. And now, she was going to finish Gliscor off. "Use Icy Wind!" Snover unleashes Icy Wind and sends Gliscor flying against a wall. Gliscor had been knocked out.
"Gliscor is unable to battle! Snover wins!" The referee announced. Lucas calls Gliscor back and took out his next Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Arcanine!" Lucas called out.
"Wow, Lucas's Grolwithe evolved!" Ventus said.
"Sure looks like it to me," Sora said.
"Arcanine! Flame Charge!" Lucas ordered. Arcanine cahrges at Snover with Flame Charge.
"Icy Wind!" Candice ordered. Snover fires Icy Wind right at Arcanine, but it bounces right off. Arcanine lands a direct hit onto Snover, earning a knockout.
"Snover is unable to battle! Arcanine wins!" The referee announced.
"That's showing them!" Agumon said.
"Now, it's Abomasnow left," Gabumon said. Candice calls back her Snover and took out her last Pokéball.
"That was amazing, Lucas. Your Kiyah is just as strong. But let's see how you handle my last one," Candice said, throwing her Pokéball. "Go! Abomasnow!" Her Pokéball opens up and Abomasnow came on out. Lucas calls back Arcanine to rest up.
"I don't wanna risk losing you when I need you," Lucas said, taking out his next Pokéball and threw it. "Your turn again, Staraptor!" His Staraptor came back out to battle. "Use Aerial Ace!" Staraptor dashed right at Abomasnow with Aerial Ace, hoping to land a hit.
"Ha! Not going to work. Ice Punch!" Candice ordered. Abomasnow lands an Ice Punch and took the predator Pokémon down with one hit.
"Staraptor is unable to battle! Abomasnow wins!" The referee announced.
"Down with one hit," Sora said. Lucas calls Staraptor back and takes out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go right in, Grotle!" Lucas called out. Grotle came on out to battle. "Rock Climb!" Grotle charges right in towards Abomasnow.
"Wood Hammer!" Candice ordered. Abomasnow lands a hit onto Grotle and lands a hit. Grotle was taken down with ine hit.
"Grotle is unable to battle! Abomasnow wins!" The referee announced. Lucas calls Grotle back. He took out Arcanine's Pokéball and threw it.
"Go for it, Arcanine!" Lucas called out. "Flame Charge!" Lucas called out. Arcanine charges right at Abomasnow with flames surrounding his body.
"Wood Hammer!" Candice ordered. Abomasnow swings Wood Hammer at the legendary Pokémon.
"Extreme Speed!" Lucas ordered. Arcanine dodges and landed a hit with Extreme Speed. "Now, use Flamethrower! Full power!" Arcanine fires Flamethrower right at the frost tree Pokémon.
"Blizzard!" Candice ordered. Abomasnow fires Blizzard right at Arcanine to stop it.
"Turn up the heat!" Lucas called out. Arcanine increases the flames and lands a hit onto Abomasnow. It was a super effective hit.
"Way to go, Lucas!" Dawn cheered for her crush.
"Flame Charge!" Lucas ordered. Arcanine charges at Abomasnow with Flame Charge.
"Blizzard!" Candice ordered. Abomasnow attempted to stop Arcanine, but she gets struck by Arcanine's Flame Wheel and earned a knockout.
"Abomasnow is unable to battle! Arcanine wins! Lucas of Twinleaf Town is the winner!" The referee announced.
Candice approached Lucas with a smile on her face.
"That was some excellent battling, Lucas. You and Pokémon has such a perfect Kiyah! And here's how the world will know it! The Icicle Badge is yours!" Candice said. Lucas accepts his Gym Badge for his win.
"Thanks," Lucas said.
With that done, the group all stepped out to head for the Pokémon Center. Driving by is Reggie in his van.
"Well, look who it is! Sora and his friends!" Reggie said.
"Haven't seen you seen Veilstone City," Sora said. "And since we last spoke."
"Who's he?" Zoey asked.
"He's Paul's older brother, Reggie. He's a Pokémon Breeder in Veilstone City," Aqua said.
"He's completely different from Paul," Zoey said.
"That was a shocker with us at first," Terra said. Reggie notices Riku and Lucas with them.
"Let me guess, you must be Riku. You were Sora's partner during the Hearthome Tag Battle Tournament. And you're also Lucas," Reggie said.
"You're Paul's brother?" Lucas asked.
"Sure am," Reggie said.
"What brings you here, Reggie?" Ventus asked.
"I was just dropping off a Pokémon for a trainer. You challenging the Snowpoint Gym Leader?" Reggie asked.
"Already done," Sora said.
"I just won mine," Lucas said.
"Awesome work," Reggie said.
Just then, a rumbling start going on.
"What's going on?" Agumon asked. A shadow looms over them as a pyramid flies over them. This grabs Paul's attention since he was training for his Gym battle with Candice.
"What's that?" Sora asked.
"It's the Battle Pyramid," Reggie said.
"Battle Pyramid?" Ventus asked.
"It's one of the Battle Frontier from the Hoenn region. Brandon is the Frontier Brain of the Battle Pyramid, known as the Pyramid King," Reggie explained.
"Brandon? The one Frontier Brain we didn't meet," Sora said.
"You met the other Frontier Brains?" Reggie asked.
"It was during the Flute Cup in Hoenn. Brandon was the only one who didn't show up because he was wrapped up in his research on legendary Pokémon," Sora said.
"You were in that one?" Lucas asked.
"Yeah. I won those flutes for Kairi for a prize," Sora said.
"And it was a sweet gesture," Kairi siad.
In the Battle Pyramid, Samuel was retrieving a transmission from the Pokémon Center.
"Brandon, we're getting transmission from the Snowpoint Pokémon Center," Samuel said.
"Send it through," Brandon instructed. Smuel sends it through as Reggie made contact.
"Hello, Brandon. It's been a long time," Reggie greeted.
"Reggie. It's been so long," Brandon said. Reggie took the group to the Battle Pyramid where it was making a landing. Gabumon, Wormmon, Gaomon, Lalamon, Renamon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Hawkmon, Patamon, and Wormmon had Digivolved to fly faster and carry the rest over to the Battle Pyramid. Speaking of which, the Battle Pyramid made a landing as Brandon and Samuel stepped out to greet the group. "Hello again, Reggie. I trust you've been well."
"Same to you, Reggie said. Brandon looked at the group with him.
"And I see you have brought quite a gathering," Brandon said.
"Sure have," Reggie said.
"You're Brandon of the Battle Pyramid. We heard about you from Anabel from the Battle Frontier," Sora said.
"You must be Sora. Spenser has told me about you when we met again," Brandon said. "He said you're quite a trainer. He mentioned that you're a Pokémon League Champion. But I was expecting you to be a little bit more older."
"I got that a few times," Sora said. Paul shows up. Brandon sees Paul approaching him.
"I know you. You're Reggie's younger brother," Brandon said.
"You do remember me. I came to challenge you to a Pokémon battle, right here and now," Paul stated. Everyone were confused by the challenge Paul had just made.
"Battle?" Sora asked.
"Hasn't he learned from his past mistake challenging Cynthia?" Aqua asked. Candice came riding in on a Dodrio.
"Incredible! It's the real Battle Pyramid!" Candice said.
"Miss Senior!" Zoey said.
"And it's so huge!" Candice said.
"Sorry to cause such a fuss, I'm Brandon, the Pyramid King of the Battle Frontier," Brandon introduced himself.
"I'm honored to meet you. I'm Candice, the Snowpoint City Gym Leader," Candice said. Another jeep came driving in. A temple maiden stepped out.
"Oh, it's you, Maria," Brandon said.
"We've been waiting for you, Pyramid King," Maria greeted, bowing her head.
"Everyone, say hello to Temple Maiden Maria," Brandon said.
"It is an honor," Maria said.
"Zoey, isn't there a temple here?" Dawn asked.
"Oh yeah. There's a temple not too far from here. It has a rich history," Zoey said.
"Awesome," Dawn said.
"You see the purpose me being in Sinnoh is to investigate the Snowpoint Temple," Brandon said.
"You do research many ancient civilizations," Kairi pointed out.
"That's correct, young lady," Brandon answered.
"I never imagined that you were going to travel here in your amazing Battle Pyramid," Maria said.
It appears we have caused a bit of a scene," Brandon said. He turned to Samuel. "Now, Sam."
"Sir!" Samuel replied.
"Please go on ahead with Maria in the temple," Brandon told Samuel.
"What about you?" Samuel asked. Brandon looked right at Paul.
"Take a look. Take a look into his eyes. How can I refuse the battle this young man requests?" Brandon asked. "I'll catch up with you later."
"Thank you, sir," Maria said.
"Paul, why now?" Reggie asked.
"Because I have to do what you couldn't do,. And that's that," Paul said.
"Would it okay, if we watch the battle, Brandon?" Sora asked. Brandon looked at Paul again.
"Young man?" Brandon asked.
Paul scoffed, "I don't care." Everyone entered the Battle Pyramid and right into the battlefield. "Let's make this a full six-on-six battle! Pokémon exchanges allowed. The battle will be over when all six of either one of our Pokémon are unable to battle!"
"Very well," Brandon accepted the terms. Paul makes the first choice.
"Magmar! Stand by for battle!" Paul called out. Magmar came out to battle. Brendon took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Regirock! I need your assistance!" Brandon called out.
"What kind of Pokémon is that?" Guilmon asked.
"It's a Regirock," Riku said.
"So, Brandon starts off with Regirock like he did with my brother," Paul said.
"Brandon used that Pokémon when I was collecting Gym Badges. I was defeated by Brandon. Paul was watching the battle. Paul had just gotten his Turtwig and came with me to Hoenn when I challenged Brandon into a battle. Brandon defeated me without losing a single one," Reggie said.
"Is that why Paul is so obsessed with power?" Sora asked.
"So, he's going to do what his brother couldn't; beat Brandon," Riku said.
"I can handle anything you can bring. That is my battling style," Brandon said. Paul calls his Magmar back, confusing Brandon.
"What's he doing?" Agunimon asked.
"Paul made a smart move, because he knows Magmar is at a disadvantage against Regirock," Terra said. Paul took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Hariyama! Stand by for battle!" Paul called out. His Hariyama came out to battle against Regirock.
"Hariyama has the advantage since being a Fighting Type," Agumon said.
"Let's begin! Stone Edge!" Brandon ordered. Regirock forms Stone Edge and hurled the stones at the arm thrust Pokémon.
"Quick, block it!" Paul ordered. Hariyama holds its hands out. "You know Rock Type moves won't have that much effect on Hariyama! Is this a test?"
"You'll have to see!" Brandon said.
"Arm Thrust!" Paul ordered. Hariyama gave Regirock a series of Arm Thrusts.
"Hold it down!" Brandon called out. Regirock grabs Hariyama in its grip. "Use Shock Wave!" Hariyama is damaged greatly by Regirock's Shock Wave.
"Hariyama defiently felt that," Naminé said.
"Azurill," Azurill chirped.
"Force Palm!" Paul ordered.
"Use Power-Up Punch!" Brandon ordered. Regirock have Hariyama a Power-Up Punch before Hariyama could land a hit. Hariyama had been taken down. Paul calls back Hariyama. Paul took out his next Pokéball and then he threw it.
"Electabuzz! Stand by for battle!" Paul called out.
"And here is Electabuzz," Gomamon said.
"What is he planning?" Patamon asked.
"Brick Break!" Paul ordered. Electabuzz lands a Brick Break onto Regirock.
"I knew he was going to do that," Sora said.
"Brandon's Regirock is a high level Pokémon and Paul knows it. So of course, he got to use an attack that has a huge effect on it," Reggie said.
"Stone Edge!" Brandon ordered. Regirock fires Stone Edge at the electrc Pokémon.
"Protect!" Paul ordered. Electabuzz uses Protect, but it backfired since it wasn't stong enough to block Stone Edge. Paul growled in anger.
"Now, Hyper Beam!" Brandon ordered. Regirock fires Hyper Beam right at Electabuzz, resulting in another knockout. Paul calls his Elextabuzz back and took out another. Brandon does the same thing for Regirock.
"Why did he call Regirock back?" Kumamon asked.
"After using Hyper Beam, Regirock won't be able to attack right away," Terra said. Brandon took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Registeel! I need your assistance!" Brandon called out. Registeel came out to battle. Paul threw his Pokéball.
"Magmar! Stand by for battle!" Paul called out. Magmar came back out to battle.
"Fire Types should have the advantage over Steel Types," Zoey said.
"Use Flamethrower!" Paul ordered. Magmar fires Flamethrower right at Registeel.
"A direct hit!" Meowth said. Registeel has come out unharmed by the flames.
"Registeel isn't even bothered by that fire," Palmon said.
"How?" Veemon asked.
"It must have had an effect, but it's hanging in!" Reggie said.
"Use Iron Head!" Brandon ordered. Registeel comes at Magmar with Iron Head and landed a hit.
"Block it and then, Will-O-Wisp!" Paul ordered. Magmar took a bad hit from Iron Head and then flinched. "Magmar's scared?"
"Where's Will-O-Wisp?" Meowth aasked.
"Iron Head can cause an opponent to flinch," Riku said. Paul calls back his Magmar and took out his other Pokéball and threw it.
"Nidoking! Stand by for battle!" Paul called out and Nidoking came on out to battle.
"Nidoking a Poison Type Pokémon. I thought Poison Type moves don't have effect on Steel Type Pokémon," Dawn said.
"That's true, Dawn, but Nidoking is also a Ground Type, so Nidoking has to know one or two moves that are effective," Lucas said.
"Use Flash Cannon!" Brandon ordered. Registeel fires Flash Cannon and it struck Nidoking on the mark.
"Earth Power, now!" Paul ordered. Nidoking's outline flashes yellow and he slams his fist into the ground, creating glowing gold cracks that travel at Registeel and go under it, hurting it.
"That's impressive strength," Brandon said.
"Double Kick!" Paul ordered. Nidoking lands a couple of kicks onto Registeel. The iron Pokémon still stood on its feet, despite taking heavy damage.
"Registeel's still standing after taking those hits," Sora said.
"Now, use Thunderbolt!" Paul ordered. Nidoking unleashed Thunderbolt at Registeel.
"Iron Head, let's go!" Brandon ordered. Registeel plows through Thunderbolt and lands a hit onto Nidoking, resulting in a knockout.
"And that's three Paul had lost," Lucas said.
"Alright, what's wrong? And here I thought you wanted to defeat the man who defeated your brother," Brandon said. Paul calls back his fallen Nidoking.
"The truth is, it is because you defeated my brother that my victory over you will have meaning. The challenge you always presented to trainers to find their own strength, was something my brother wasn't able to do! I'm not like my brother! My will gives me strength! And now, you'll see it first hand! And I'll become more powerful than even Sora!" Paul shouted.
"NO!" Brandon bellowed. "All wrapped up in the past. Why then do you walk the Pokémon path in the first place! Tell me why do you battle?" Paul didn't respond and took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Lairon! Stand by for battle!" Paul called out, letting Lairon out to battle. Brandon calls back Registeel and and took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Regice, I need your assistance!" Brandon called out, letting out Regice.
"Iron Defense!" Paul ordered. Lairin increases its defense power with a metallic glow.
"So, Paul's going on the defense," Riku said.
"Paul wants to hang in their and look for a chance to counterstrike," Reggie said.
"Ice Beam!" Brandon ordered. Regice fires Ice Beam and freezes Lairon completely.
"What?!" Paul exclaimed.
"Zap Cannon!" Brandon ordered. Regice forms a ball of electricity and fires right at Lairon and took it down with one hit. Paul growled again.
"Lairon didn't get to attack once," Ventus said. Paul took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Ursaring! Stand by for battle!" Paul called out. Ursaring came out to battle. "Use Hammer Arm!"
"Use Power-Up Punch!" Brandon ordered. Regice and Ursaring come at each other to land a hit. Both had collided and felt pain to one another.
"Focus Blast!" Paul ordered.
"Zap Cannon!" Brandon ordered. Regice fires Zap Cannon right at Ursaring and landed a hit onto the hibernator Pokémon. Ursaring became paralyzed.
"What's up with Ursaring?" Tentomon asked.
"Ursaring's paralyzed from taking that Zap Cannon," Naminé said.
Paul just stood there and he didn't bother to call back his Ursaring. Brandon calls back his Regice.
"Regirock, I need your assistance!" Brandon called out and Regirock came back out.
"Regirock again?!" Paul exclaimed.
"Use Stone Edge!" Brandon ordered. Regirock fires Stone Edge at Ursaring, resulting in a knockout.
"That's five he lost," Aqua said.
"Paul had already given up on Ursaring. He just stopped giving him commands," Reggie said.
"Now, Magmar, stand by for battle!" Paul called out, letting Magmar out to battle Regirock.
"It's almost over. Paul never stood a chance against Brandon and his Pokémon," Riku said.
"Flamethrower!" Paul ordered. Magmar fires Flamethrower at Regirock. Regirock braced itself and blows back Flamethrower.
"Shock Wave, let's go now!" Brandon ordered. Regirock gave Magmar one last Shock Wave, much to Paul's dismay. Magmar had been taken down. Paul had lost the battle. He calls his Magmar back.
"Young man, this battle of yours, was that your true battle?" Brandon asked. "You've done an excellent job raising and training your Pokémon, but you allowed your emotions to betray you on the battlefield!" Paul glared right at him. "We will battle again one day, but only when you control them." Paul didn't say a thing and bowed his head.
Unknown to anyone, Myotismon was watching the battle from start to finish. He was very pleased by what he was seeing.
"He relied solely on strength brute alone and he lost. Paul never stood a chance against those three behemoths," Myotismon said.
Paul left the Battle Pyramid without saying a word. Sora could sense the whole time that Paul's aggression was getting the best of him. Brandon looked over to Sora.
"So, Sora, I hope you were impressed by the battle," Brandon said.
"Yeah, I was. Would it be okay if I could challenge you to battle. I know you just had one with Paul, but I would like to show you my strength," Sora said. Paul froze in place and he turned. Brandon smiled.
"An interesting idea. I have been wondering what strength you have after you battled Spenser. I accept your challenge. We shall have it tomorrow," Brandon said.
"Of course," Sora said.
And here it is. Sora and his friends has witnessed battle between Paul and Reggie, and now it's Sora's turn to show Brandon his strength. Will Sora win or will he lose? Just wait and see.
