Friday finally came and you still couldn't wipe the smile off your face. Lucifer asked you to be his girlfriend and of course, you said yes. Your stomach felt like it was swarming with butterflies as you drove that morning. In about an hour you would be meeting Lucifer face to face for the first time. You had imagined the moment so many times. You told your brothers you would be helping a friend with some chores so you couldn't make lunch. You pulled up to the prison ten minutes early. You just stared at it. In there was the love of your life and as weird as it sounded you were about to meet for the first time. You took a deep, calming breath and stepped out of your car, and headed inside.

Lucifer sat in the little waiting room they used for couples and families for private visits. His nerves were on end. Given how he grew up he learned to ignore his nerves most of the time But today he couldn't. He was meeting you for the time. "God I hope she still wants me," he thought to himself. He was a bit afraid of you changing your mind once you actually met. Without a doubt, you were out of his league. You're sweet, smart, beautiful. Basically in his eyes perfect. Suddenly the door to the room opened and an officer walked. "Your visitor is here Shurley," he said as you shyly walked in. He noticed the shy look on your face as you smiled and instantly looked down at your hands. He smiled finding the action adorable. "You have an hour and a half," the cop said and walked out.

He walked over to you. "You look even more beautiful in person," you blushed. He gently put his arms around you. You instantly hugged back as tears formed in your eyes. When he heard you sniffle he softly pulled you away and cupped your face in his hands. They felt rough but soft at the same time. "Why the tears?" he asked.

"Just happy," you answered as your smile grew bigger. He chuckled and planted a soft kiss on your forehead. You two just stood there for a moment. Neither of you wanting to let go of the other. When you did let go Lucifer noticed a bag in your hand.

"Did you bring me something?" he asked. You smiled.

"In fact I did," you said as you both set on the same side of the table. You placed the bag on the table, "they checked everything of course but they didn't seem to have a problem with it,". You pulled out two thick puzzle books and held them up. "You mentioned you liked puzzles so one is a big word search book and the other is a mix of different types of puzzles,".

"Beats reading the same books over again," he said.

"I also got you a pack of mechanical pencils," you said pulling them out. He nodded.

"And the last thing," you said pulling out a pouch, "I put together a small snack pack,".

"Alright," he said taking and unzipping it to find, small cookies, brownies, and candy.

"I wanted to run something by you," you admitted. Lucifer looked at curiously.

"Ok, shoot," he said.

"I wanted to add money on your books," you told him.

"You don't have to do that," he told you. He didn't wanna make it seem like he was using you in any way.

"I want to," you said as you gently reached up and ever so softly brushed your fingers under his bruised eye, "it'll make me feel in a way like I'm taking care of you,". Lucifer couldn't help but smile more. You were too sweet.

"Tell you what," he said grabbing the word search book, "we'll pick a puzzle. If you find more words than me then you can add money to my books,".

"Deal," you said ripping open the pack of puzzles and you each grabbed one. As you looked for words you put a heart by the ones you found and Lucifer would draw a little pitchfork by his. Mainly to make you giggle. And thats how you spent almost the whole time. Battling each other in a word search. "I found the last one!" you playfully claimed marking it off with a heart.

"Let's see who won," Lucifer started to count, "I found nine words and you found 11 words,". You happily clapped and he just rolled his eyes. Thats when a reminder played over the speakers reminding them they only had five minutes left. You frowned.

"So how should we spend our last five minutes?" you asked. A sly little smirk played on Lucifer's face.

"I do have one idea," he said as he leaned over and softly kissed you. You blushed but smiled as you gently caressed his cheek and happily kissed back. The kissing didn't end until the last five minutes were up. When a knock on the door came.

"Times up Shurley," an officer informed.

"So same place next week?" he asked as you got up and hugged him.

"It's a date," you told him. The whole walk to your car your heart ached. You wanted so much for Lucifer to leave with you. You never told him but you cried all the way home. Soon you had a routine going. Calls every night and you would go see him every Friday. You two would just talk or do puzzles together. Every week you would put money on his books. And every Friday the last five minutes were always spent getting in as many kisses you two could. One Friday as soon as you walked in the room and the door closed Lucifer lifted you up in a hug and spun you around a little. You giggled. "Someone's in a good mood," you said as he put you down, "what's going on?". He couldn't help the smile that grew on his face.

"I might finally be getting out," he said.
