Chapter 493.
"Leni's 18th Birthday."
(February 28, the Loud House.)
A party has been setup and it seems like a lot of folks from the loud family, to some of their friends have all arrived to be part of the 18th birthday of Leni Loud, and the girl is stoked and totes happy about this day, that she even wore a new look to show that she is growing up.
Leni's new attire: Leni still has her shades which she loves, and her pink hooped earrings, but she now has eye shadow in the color of blue and she's wearing a teal crop-top with a pink shirt inside, light blue jeans and a brown belt and white pearl bracelets. Teal slip-on shoes and her hair is now tied into a ponytail.
Yup, this is definitely the new Leni Loud, and she is looking fabulous for her friends and they all go over to talk to her as the others enjoy this amazing birthday party.
"Wow Leni, the outfit is totes you and we so dig the ponytail" replied Mandee. "Really does make you look like a changed girl with a whole new look in life."
"Thanks girls" chuckled Leni. "But, I changed months ago and for the better too, and this look is something I wanna keep wearing, until the next time I grow a year older. I wanna make it a thing for me."
"Now that is the same fashion-loving girl we know and love" replied Jackie. The duo then speak in unison. "Happy Birthday Leni." They embrace each other and then go over to speak to the others.
Lynn Sr has made tons of food and with the help from Jesse Rosato and of course, Chloe and Clyde and the African-American kid is speaking with Lincoln about…. Something they both have found out.
"So, let me get this straight, you're nana Gale is also wants to be part of Sunset Canyon?" asked Lincoln.
Clyde nods. "Sorry about not telling you, Linc. But, I really want her to go and stay there, so she can be close to home with me and my dad's. Now the hot issue is seeing who gets the room, Myrtle, or Nana Gale."
"That issue has been dealt with" replied Myrtle. They see her with Gale and both of them walk towards their grandsons. "We spoke it out and we're rooming together."
"Wait what?!" Lincoln, Clyde and the rest of the louds and the two McBride men are surprised.
"IT's all true" replied Gale. "We can both be good friends and learn to share the same room together, we may have some things not in common, but sure as heck we can get along and learn to be such good friends."
"Hang on, I thought there was only one space in the retirement home, what gives?" asked Lynn.
"That would be me kiddo." They all look to Albert. "As it turns out, Scoots has been hogging a big room that could be for two folks, and she's been making it look like one small room for herself. It all went down known when Seymour and Bernie went to talk with her, and then Scoots lost control of her scooter and broke down the fake wall, now Myrtle and Gale can be roommates, and Scoots can bunk in the other room with her scooter and this guy… We don't really know who he is or where the heck did he come from."
Now this is a surprise that no one saw coming. Leni goes over and hugs Myrtle. "Congrats on the new room stay you two and I know that you two are gonna be the best of roomies, just like Lori and me back then."
Lori chuckles. "She's not wrong, and I know that you're both gonna literally have a fun time at Sunset Canyon."
"And we can come and visit Gran-gran when we go and check on Pop-pop!" said Lola and Lana and they go over and hug Myrtle, Clyde sheds some tears and he goes over to hug his Nana Gale.
This turned from one epic and awesome birthday for Leni, to one of the biggest surprises for both the Louds and the McBride's.
Hope Pertland seems excited about something else. 'I really hope Leni likes the gift I got for her. I have to keep it together and not show that i have this crush on Leni, sure she knows, but I don't know if she told anyone else. I don't wanna make things awkward as Clyde did once with Lori, and he got over it.'
Christina Éclair is also there, and she too is excited for what she has for the now 18 year old girl. 'This gift will help solve Leni and her college ordeals and I promise her this will be a balance between work, education and her family. Lincoln is my friend and that means Leni is my friend too.'
They all go over and congratulate the two new roomies at Sunset Canyon and then they go back to enjoying the rest of this awesome birthday party.
(Later.)
The party guests and families and friends come over and they sing a happy birthday to Leni, and she blows out the candles and she slices the chocolate cake and serves it to everyone, as always even though she is a changed smart teen, she still has the kind heart to let others first before herself.
Leni then sees her parents go over and she hugs them both. They depart from the hug and the loud parents look onto their daughter.
"Happy 18th birthday Leni, we're so proud of how far you've come with your change" replied Rita.
"Thanks mom, and I look forward to whatever happens next for me when I graduate and…" Leni then looks to her dad. "Dad, come on."
Lynn Sr has some tears and is trying to retain a solid and strong composure. "W-What do you mean s-sweetie? I just… And i…." Then he starts to weep into his hands. "My little girl is growing up!"
The others take notice of this, which makes Luna, Luan and Lynn feel super awkward for when this happens to them soon, Luna knows it'll happen next year when she graduates. 'Wow. This isn't awkward at all.' It actually is.
Lori goes over to calm down her father. "Dad, we don't have to be worried about Leni and where she'll go, she has her own choice in life and whatever she chooses, we gotta be there to support her. But, she's changed from the old Leni and has become someone who can do things on her own, and we'll always be family, no matter how far away we may be."
Hearing this makes Leni smile and hug Lori, but then Lynn Sr cries once again. Rita needs to calm him down, this is getting too overwhelming for the 43 year old man.
Leni then departs from the hug and she begins to make an announcement. "Family and everyone, I have this plan for when I do make it to a college or university and after I graduate High School."
They all gather around and hear what she has to say. "I spoke with a very familiar couple that we know, well a newly married couple…" This makes Lincoln and Jordan realize who she means. … And they said, that there is a home available for me at Huntington Oaks, and so I Leni Loud, am gonna move there, soon."
Now that was an unexpected surprise for everyone. "Whoa, what?!" they all feel proud for her and so is Lynn Sr, who shows it by crying, even harder… Someone calm this man down.
Leni then goes over to Luan, her current roommate. "Luan, I just…"
"No, it's okay Leni. We can sort out the whole roommate thing later, or when the time is needed for one big sibling meeting. For now, we should enjoy this birthday and whether I get a roommate or not, it's fine with me." Luan then embraces Leni and she does the same to her little sister.
They all shed some tears from this and clap at this touching sight and amazing news. Leni's change has truly made her into a whole new different person, with a whole new look for what is to come.
(Moments Later.)
The time has come for Leni to check out what the gifts she got from her friends and family, and she starts off with Albert and Myrtle and she loves the vintage clothing, she could try to make them look more stylish and possibly a new fashion line.
She then makes it to the gifts her siblings have gotten her, and they too seem like they're all fashionable items, even clothing she has been trying to get her hands on, but she's more surprised that Jordan and her parents got her some one of a kind silk fabrics for her to use.
She does appreciate the cute drawing that Lily made, and it's something she would want to frame, because it's the rest of the family hugging Leni.
Then she goes to the gifts from her friends and they got her some clothing and other fashionable items and even some stuff she may need in the future, like a brand new sowing machine and some books on anything else fashion related from histories ago.
Then comes someone who has made things a bit awkward between them, Hope Pertland and she hands Leni the gift she has for her. "I…. I do hope you like it. Leni."
Leni smiles and she opens the gift and is amazed. "What in the what?"
She reaches into the box and she sees some shades, but these shades are pure pearl-white colored and have small sequences and the shades themselves can be changed to suit her vision such as reading or when things get too bright or too dark.
"My dad asked a friend of his, who makes these awesome and cool tech stuff and also seems to work for FutureTech here in town…" Hope is interrupted when she's hugged by the teen she has a crush on.
"I love it, thank you so much Hope!"
Hope smiles and turns bright red and she hugs Leni as well. "N-No problem…" She feels like fainting. They depart from the hug and Gretchen helps her find a seat, then someone else goes to Leni.
It was Christina Éclair and she hands her this pamphlet. "Here, and read it."
Leni opens it up and sees what it says and her eyes are surprised. "What the heck?! A scholarship to Reiningers fashion and education university?!"
The others, even Jackie and Mandee are also surprised and they go over and see it. "What?!" They all see what it has to say and all of them are blown out of their minds, this is a college for fashion and business learning.
Christina smiles. "My mom helped make this place possible and she is the lady in charge of it. The college is done with construction and isn't too far from Royal Woods, you can go there and…" She's interrupted when Leni hugs her, really tightly.
"Oh-M-Gosh! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you so, so much Christina! And to your mom too!"
Christina chuckles. "You're…. Welcome and I'll… Tell m-my mom too, Leni…. Please let me go."
Leni does so. "Sorry and thanks again Christina." They then go back and see what this college is all about, also Lynn Sr has fainted, he did not expect Leni to find a college this quickly. "We so have to tell Carlota about this, even though she has her own college to go to."
Lincoln and Jordan help Christina to her feet. "Smart move there Éclair, looks like someone gave Leni the best gift ever" replied Jordan, she fist bumps with Christina. "Nice one, indeed."
"This means so much to Leni, thank you Christina" said Lincoln.
Christina nods. "My pleasure and I know how much family means to you, plus you're my friend along with Rosato. I wouldn't want to see the family you know and love become too distant with each other, but growing up means taking steps ahead into whatever marks the future for everyone, and like Leni said earlier, no matter how far the rest of you will be, the loud family will always be close."
Luna stands with them too. "Always and always." she pulls Lincoln and Jordan close to her, knowing their future seems to be bound to each other along with Sam for the ride.
They go over and rejoin the group to continue celebrating the 18th birthday of Leni Loud.
Then Leni yells out at what she reads. "They have a spa, a personal mall and field trips to Pairs, France?!"
This shocks everyone mostly to Jackie, Mandee, Fiona, Miguel, Lola and Ms. Carmichael. "What?!"
Yeah, looks like Leni has truly found her dream college and chances Lola will wanna be part of that too, one day.
(At a juvie somewhere near Huron.)
This seems too familiar, and right now a riot has broken loose and three preteens race out of the place and they manage to evade the dogs who chase after them and who are the trio who got out?
Wallace Herman (Poppa Wheelie), Dennis Stellars and Patrick Aldrich. The former leader of the bicycle gang of Royal Woods and the goons of Chandler McCann, looks like they met at the same place and are now a team.
"Alright, so we lost the dogs and we busted out, now all we gotta do is find some way back to Royal Woods and we can get our revenge on Loud and Rosato!" said Patrick.
"Dang right man" replied Dennis. "And with Chandler badly beaten up and all that mess in jail, we're gonna have to do this without him."
"You guys do what you want, just as long as I get my hands on what I want! And I want that robot car!" said Poppa Wheelie.
The trio make their way out of the woods and they arrive to a private hangar and they spot this private plane and they hijack it, not knowing who this plane belongs to and its name is on the side: Houseman.

A/N: Happy 18th birthday Leni Loud, and we know she'll be having the time of her life being part of college and a big thanks to Christina and her mom for making it possible for her dream college, and yes trouble is coming again from the works of "Avenger44."
