Chapter 495.
"The Bullies of the Bus."
(The Loud House.)
It's the 2nd of March and after the outcome of the dreaded return of Poppa Wheelie alongside Dennis and Patrick, the louds all get ready to get to school. Lincoln then heads out and he sees the text from Jordan.
Jordan – We have dodge ball training to do, and afterwards we can make a beeline to Ketcham Park and continue some eagle-eyed training. Also, Jenny informed me about some three new kids, they seem to be a year older than us and we don't even know much about 'em. See you in school, Linc.
Lincoln then goes over to get into Luna's car, but then he sees the school bus drive by. 'Dang. Sure has been a long while since I rode in the school bus. Oh well, I'm sure the others are doing fine in there.' He gets into Luna's car and they all drive off to school.
And yet, Lincoln ad this bad feeling that something was gonna happen, something terrible.
(Royal Woods Middle School.)
Lincoln gets out of Luna's car as the vehicle makes it to the Middle School and he waves goodbye as she drives off with Luan in the backseat. Lincoln then walks towards the school and he sees Jordan.
"Hi, Jordan. Everything is set and ready and we got ourselves one heck of a month ahead of us."
Jordan giggles. "You know it, Linc. Now all we need to do is wait for the others, and I know Leni is gonna do great at the Mayor's Hall."
"Dang right" replied Lincoln. "Still kinda concerned about this new lady in town who wants to run for mayor, we didn't get any dirt or Intel on who she is though, anything from Jenny?"
Jordan then sees something. "Well, here she comes now." They both turn around and see Jenny Mulligan, and Flat Tire arrive on their bikes. "Hey guys, glad you two showed up."
"Guys, I got a scoop from my Auntie about the lady who's running for mayor, her name is Selena Williams and word is, she's from the state of Pittsburg and has moved to many towns more than once and this is her third town to come and attempt to run for mayor."
Lincoln and Jordan are confused by what she had just said. "Attempt?"
Flat Tire nods. "Even I overheard it from my uncle, he said that this lady is some kind of activist or supporter for some dummy who failed to run for President of the country, and that she thinks her words goes and the words of whoever this dummy is. She's here and she's trying to take over our town."
Jenny uses her table to go through some things. "She's been to Detroit and then she went to Lansing, and Saginaw is her mark. This is her third time to do this and the last times she's done this, no one voted for her and no one wanted any business with her. But she's notorious for trying to win the votes."
Lincoln thinks about this. "Then I need to warn Leni, now." Lincoln sends Leni the text message to be wary for anyone who might steal something from the Mayor's halls. This could be bad.
Jordan then asks Jenny and Flat Tire. "What else should we know about this Selena Williams?"
Jenny uses her tablet to see what she found out. "Well, she's racist, rude, mean, and strict and thinks folks should do as she says and obey the laws she thinks is law. She was seen doing so many dumb things which has irritated the many townsfolk and the local police in the other places she went to."
"She once accused an African-American for stealing, when clearly he was bird watching in the park. Then she scolded some kids who were walking their dog and they were responsible to do that thing. Then she got angry at some girl scouts who were selling cookies and lemonade."
"She told this guy to leave the house he lives in, but he lives there and that was his pool. She told some French locals to leave the restaurant and go back to their country. She accused the teen from the High School that he was a thief, when he's the class president who was just helping the school fund raiser."
"She began making fliers and posting them all over the town without the permission of the local businesses and thus blocking all the windows of the shops. She said that the local arcades have to be closed down for unruly things and then she scolded a pregnant woman and told her to go on a diet."
Lincoln had finished sending the text and with Jordan, they're surprised, jaws dropped and wide eyed. "Wow! Just… Dang, this lady has a heck ton of personal issues, and her presence in town is gonna make things worse" replied Jordan.
"Chances she won't win, and she won't even make the cut. At least I warned Leni, and I think Mayor Davis is aware of this issue. When is the elections again?" asked Lincoln.
"On the 5th of March" replied Flat Tire. "The big time to see the votes, and from what Intel Jenny got. The Allied base and FutureTech will be overlooking the whole thing, almost like they went into overdrive when they heard the name "Selena Williams."
To Lincoln and Jordan, they know something is up.
"At least things can't get any worse" replied Jenny. The bus arrives and they see some of their friends come ou…. what the heck happened to them?
The four preteens are shocked to see their pals beaten, bruised and a mess. Then they see three preteens a year older than them race off and chuckle as they get into the school.
"Well, this got worse" replied Flat Tire. They go over to help them out of their own mess.
Rusty, Zach and Liam have their underwear's tied together. Lance, Artie and Trent have bruises and black eyes. Joy, Kat and Cookie are bruised and banged up all over, Clyde and Chloe look like they got ito a fight and didn't make it through and then they see Chad and he got wedgied way over his head.
Then they see this girl who was part of Lynn's soccer team, and still is and she looks hurt. She has a bruised lip and some more bruises on her arms and a cut on her lip. Who is this girl on the bus?
Jill Talley – light tan skin, and short black hair with pink tips, which obscure her ears and a small portion of her face. Her casual attire is a lavender turtleneck sweater, along with a gray skirt, purple leggings and dark purple boots. She seems Goth, or she's just a nervous emo.
Then Simon and Stella arrive on their bikes. "Hey guys, we're glad we…. What in the heck?!"
They go over and help them out of the mess, and they even help Jill and she has some tears on her. "We just… And then they, I just wanted to h-help." Jordan hands her a tissue and she wipes away her tears.
Lincoln is confused by all of this. "Guys, guys. Tell us, what in the heck just happened? Why are you all such messes? Who did this?"
"I could only guess it was those eight graders, right?" asked Jenny.
Lance sighs. "Yeah, them. They did this to us, and we weren't even doing anything to them."
"Okay, guys one at a time and from the top" said Jordan. She grabs some bandages and she helps tend to Joy and Kat.
Clyde speaks up first. "Okay, so we were all seated and went by with our business and we were talking about the things that were gonna happen for this month, such as the dodge ball game and the Bald Eagle Festival on Spring Break, did seem usual and normal for us on the bus."
Chloe speaks next. "We then spoke about the cooking class and what we needed to do for later for homeroom, and then we began to talk about the month of May, and about the incoming video game contest."
Trent is next to speak. "Which we are going up against Hazeltucky and so we started to talk and think strategy. So, we all have been talking about the incoming games we could win for our school and town."
"Which we're all going up against Hazeltucky, heck even the local baseball and soccer team is gonna be part of is" replied Joy. "Right Jill?"
Jill is nervous and barely says anything. "I am…. In that team and…. I didn't even say anything and… I don't even know anymore." She wipes away some tears and Stella goes over to comfort her.
"And then came the trouble" replied Artie. "Three kids, new kids to Royal Woods and a year above the rest of us and they come to the bus and they didn't like us talking and they told us to shut up and stay quiet, but they were not the bosses to us and were just talking about the incoming games."
"Then they got angry and didn't want us to talk about that either, almost like the games makes them angry for some reason" replied Liam. "Then they found out that I was part of the Royal Woods Kangaroos Baseball team, and Jill here is in the Royal Woods girls' soccer team, and then things got bad at that point."
"They began picking on us and annoying us through the whole ride" replied Zach. "Then they started to pick on the others who came into the bus and even Cristina." They all look to Cristina who remains silent with a bruises on her right arm and her hair a mess.
"We began to tell them to stop and leave us alone." Rusty then gulps. "Then it got even worse and they began to push us, shove us, punch us and then do a lot of mean and hurtful things to all of us, and then it got intense and a lot of the other students got into te tussle and well, here we are now."
We now switch to the principal's office and Principal Ramirez is shocked at what she heard, and her office is filled with everyone who was on the bus and even the driver, Ernie. "They started to pick on me too, and even if I did try to be responsible, they just kept shoving me around and so I stayed driving to make sure we wouldn't crash or anything."
The Principal is baffled by this. "Whoa. What? Are you…. Oh wait, well that makes sense now."
They're all confused by what she had just said. "What makes sense?" asked Simon.
Principal Ramirez grabs the files of the three new kids. "Now, these three kids, Taylor T.J Lancer, Anderson R. Carlsonman and Pablo D. Escobar are from Hazeltucky and throughout the season, Royal Woods is up against Hazeltucky."
"Hearing their hometown, well former hometown get into a game against them may have triggered some outbursts in their heads, but that does not mean they can do what they want! We have rules here and one of them is the anti-bullying policy."
Lincoln knows this is bad. "Then we need to do something, you need to do something."
"Indeed I will, and I intend to do it after classes. Because if those three wanna be hard on the others, then we'll be hard on them and have the rest of the staff be the eyes and go around and keep an eye on them and I know just the man for the job" replied Principal Ramirez.
They all know who she's taking about. "Mr. Bolhofner!"
(After classes.)
With classes done for the day, the three bullies come out of the school and they look angry. Who are they and where the heck did they even come from?
Taylor T.J Lancer – a teenage girl with tanned skin and long wavy brown hair. She wears a black t-shirt, white vest, red jean short pants, brown stockings and black shoes.
Anderson R. Carlsonman – a tall teenage boy with light skin, short black hair stylized on match. He wears a grey t-shirt, red shorts with vertical white stripes on each side and black and white training shoes.
Pablo D. Escobar – A tall teenage boy with tanned skin and short dark brown hair. He wears black round glasses, white short-sleeved shirt with collar, grey jeans, white socks and brown shoes.
All three of them are from Hazeltucky. They're parents moved here to Royal Woods, because they got some new and better jobs and they wanna try something new and help change their kids.
They all seem ticked off because of their first day, they're first class was with MR. Bolhofner after a change of schedule and then as they go through the rest of school, that man has been watching over them and they can't go over and pick on the other preteens there.
Mr. Bolhofner was everywhere, he was like a hawk, or an eagle and what's worse, some eagles were also in the school and watching them from every direction and they even spotted tons of robot dragonflies all over the place and following their every movement.
Anderson growls at what's been happening. "Dude, what the heck is going on with this place? We can't do anything we want here and this is our first day too! What gives?"
"I swear, those eagles and that teacher are getting on my nerves, and just when I was gonna get some lunch money too" replied Taylor, she seems really annoyed and she chews her gum angrily.
"Those birds were looking into my soul, so creepy and what's with the robot bugs anyway? They look like the same ones from the bus!" said Pablo.
Taylor then realizes. "The kids on the bus! Those little snitches ratted us out and now this is happening!"
Anderson is now angry. "When I get my hands on one of them, I am going to…"
"Do nothing!" The trio look to the school bus and coming out are all the kids on the bus and then Lincoln, Jordan and everyone else, Mr. Bolhofner and then Principal Ramirez. "You three are in so much trouble, and I can see two months of detention and extra school work as well for what you three did!"
Anderson, Tayler and Pablo back up, but the eagles land behind them and so does Apollo and Raptor and they too are not pleased with what they did, then a car arrives and Luna comes out and then Vanzilla with Rita also arrives.
"What the heck is this? What the heck is going on?!" said Pablo.
"Looks like some kids didn't know about the whole anti-bullying law" said Jenny.
Taylor growls hearing that rule, the same rule she saw on the bulletin board. "Oh yeah? Well, screw off with that law, who cares? Lower-rank kids should learn their place and we know what's the best way for everyone in this school and that is with us above them and the others doing what we say!"
Stella scoffs. "Someone's a wickedly demented Karen."
"My names not Karen!" yelled Taylor. "We don't give a ding dang nothing about that rule, were from Hazeltucky and we don't need that rule. Because the rule of school is that we are on top and that's final!"
Pablo and Anderson nod. "Yeah, what she said."
Principal Ramirez sighs at this. "Very well then. Looks like I'll have no choice but to call your parents, to pay the fine for you three breaking the law and bullying everyone on the bus, followed by two months of detention and extra school work, and that's my word and it is final."
"What?!" Mr. Bolhofner goes to them and drags them away. "Let's go you three."
Taylor looks to Lincoln and Jordan and she recalls who they are and what they can do. "This isn't over! You hear me! You're dead to me and when I come back… when we come back, then you'll all pay for ratting us out! Do you hear me, Loud?!" Even her friends yell at them as well.
Lincoln and Jordan can tell, that they have made another enemy, or three more enemies.
Rita also follows to discuss this and then some other cars arrive with the parents of the other kids who got picked on, and some parents who were also part of the anti-bullying agreement act for the school and then the cars of the parents of the three bullies.
The parents of the bullies are nervous, they just got their jobs there and now their family names are tarnished and soiled from what their kids did and everyone looks to them sternly for not stopping what their kids would've done.
They know that they are in deep trouble, and will get a lot of words from the other parents.
Lincoln sighs from this situation fixed. "Come on guys, let's go and practice some flying." He walks away from the school with the eagles, Jordan, Ryan, Gretchen and Hope. The others also follow to watch them train with the eagles.
"Can I come too?" they turn around and see Jill nervously ask them. "I could use some company."
Jordan smiles. "Sure come along." They all head to the bus and their bikes and they head off to Ketcham Park, with a new friends in tow. Heck, even the bus driver wants to watch this, he could use some relaxing time with his injuries and the park is just the place.
