Chapter 590: 25 Years of this franchise.
(Royal Woods.)
The date is now February 27, which means it is now the 25th Anniversary of the best franchise everyone has come to know and love ever since it first showed itself to Nintendo: Pokémon.
We now go to Ketcham Park and we see everyone there are all enjoying this epic moment, as the Mayor made the announcement and so welcome to the first annual Pokémon festival!
There are so many fun things to do there, especially with the local Pokémon who everyone have come to know and love, and the fun is just getting started.
There are tons of food vendors and there are even some from Great Lakes City, such as Rosa Casagrande and her famous Tamales and excellent cooking, especially when the food she makes is spicy.
Of course Lynn and her Pokémon buddy, Tyrogue get in on this action and try the spiciness along with her soccer and roller derby team! But a Charmander shows them he can eat this and can take it.
And as usual, Lynn Sr with the food he made shows everyone and Pokémon that his food tastes amazing and Lynn Sr even shares the spot of the vending site with his old boss from Aloha-Comrade.
There are tons of games and each one is as fun as the last and the next one after that. From knocking bottles all the way to testing thy strength and a Machamp goes over and shows his strength, but not enough and so Conkeldurr shows him how it's done, then a Hariyama and then Sawk.
But in the end… Happiny showed them she was stronger and there goes the bell!
But with so many new Pokémon popping up, it becomes even fun when they interact and learn so much about these new species and all of them straight out of the Galar Region.
New sighted: Nickit, Thievul, Chewtle, Drednaw, Falinks, Wooloo, Dubwool, Blipbug, Dottler, Orbeetle, Sobble, Drizzile, Inteleon, Scorbunny, Raboot, Cinderace, Gossifleur, Eldegoss, Applin, Flapple, Appletun, Rolycoly, Carkul, Coalossal, Silicobra, Sandaconda, Obstagoon, Cursola, Perrserker, Mr. Rime, Runerigus, Milcery, Alcremie, Snorm, Frosmoth and Stonjourner.
Galar formed: Slowpoke, Slowbro, Slowking, Darumaka, Darmanitan, Zigzagoon, Linoone, Ponyta, Rapidash, Corsola, Meowth, Weezing and Mr. Mime.
But the real fun seems to be coming from the arena that has been made at the large open field of the park and this is where folks, from Faunus to humans with their Pokémon buddies all come together and watch the epic and awesome Pokémon battles take hold!
Recently there was a clash between Fiona with her Aipom against Stella and her Heracross! The battle was intense and epic with both sides trying to outdo the other and combine their moves to beat each other, but the fight ends with Heracross being the victor!
At this moment, there is another battle going on and who the heck are clashing? We got Neil with Garchomp and he is armed with the Mega stone for the Megavolution mode!
His opponent is…. his brother Sergei? Wait just a god damn minute people, when did this dude get an Abomasnow and a god damn Megastone! This is about to get intense and epic! Looks like he found a new buddy after he let go of Braviary last year.
Both sides going at it with their Pokémon trying to beat the other, ice vs dragon and then the megavolution begins and it turns to a major deadly battle and thankfully this makeshift arena has special barriers to keep the spectators safe from the battle.
Judging this fight and also wanting to join the fight soon, is Sienna Khan, the leader of the Faunus in Royal Woods and why does she wanna be part of this later? She has her own Pokémon companion: Torracat.
As the fun keeps going, some songs are being played and many of them are far too familiar, especially the five songs that were made and released from February 1, but the Spellman's and local resident, Stella.
Songs: Unbeatable, Stand up (Battle cry), Gotta Catch 'em All, Alola! And One, Two, Three!
With Luna, Sam and some of their band mates and Sunset Shimmer and the Dazzles on stage, and of course Stella joins in for the song she made, and with Simon taking Neil's' place in the song.
But right now, we see Lincoln with his Absol, Linka with her Arcanine and Jordan with her Lopunny and Indoraptor, Dominic walking around and checking out the amazing festival and they see the rest of their family and friends all enjoying this event and what it has to offer.
"Dang, this place is looking dang lively and awesome!" said Lincoln. He then ducks down as a Peliper flies by. "Yup, everyone here is just enjoying the festival and I can't blame 'em."
"This place is so full of life and with so many new things, well mostly the Pokémon and I can't even get my eyes off of the ones who look so fascinating." Jordan looks at the form coming from Slowpoke and is confused. "You know, the Galar Slowpoke kinda looks like a common Slowpoke with butter on his head."
"What do you think cousin?" Lincoln then looks to Linka. "Linka?"
Linka snaps out of it. "Huh, what? Sorry, kinda occupied by them." Lincoln points to a large group of Eevee in one place and each one is shown to have learned a move that would match their next evolution. There are also some cute pet-like Pokémon.
Sighted: Yamper, Rockruff, Furfrou, Liepard, Wooloo, Glameow, Skitty, Growlithe, Togedemaru, Emolga, Pichu, Iggly Buff, Cleffa, Morpeko, Buneary, Plusle, Minun and Bounsweet.
"They're just so cute! Be right back!" Linka and Arcanine go over to where the cute Pokémon are and they even meet up with: Mollie, Sadie, Joy, Kat, Cookie, Jenny, Hope, Christina, Allison and Shope.
Lincoln and Jordan chuckle seeing this. "I can't blame her for trying to do that, she likes cute things and even myself, but I can be able to handle holding back on the cuteness and such. I did went through that with Lopunny, back when she was a Buneary of course." Jordan hugs Lopunny and she hugs her back.
Lincoln smirks. "Yeah, sure seems nice with no troubles and no other stuff to worry about, and with no other missions to deal with."
Absol then speaks up. "I do recall that the Guardian is not here, where is he again?"
Lincoln recalls. "I believe that he went off to check on the other dimension parallel from ours, since spring is up and that means some Pokémon are coming to that world and possibly about to make things a bit more interesting for them."
"We're gonna have to visit them again soon to check on how they're day went with the whole thing, but we know that they're beginning of spring day has been one moment they would never ever forget, ever."
"Speaking of moments and days that we won't forget ever, what about Leni's Birthday?" asked Jordan.
Lincoln chuckles. "Calm down, darling. We got the party settled and sure as heck, Leni is always gonna enjoy her birthday with her family, and she said she has a big announcement to make, which might have something to do with when she… Well, graduates from High School soon."
Jordan nods. "Yeah, even I look forward to that one and…" They then hear this grand announcement, from Sienna Khan and Mayor Davis. "What the heck is going on?" everyone looks to the speakers and listen to the voice of their mayor and the leader of the Faunus and White Fang.
Mayor Davis: Ladies and gentlemen, Faunus, Protoss, Great Lakes folks and al Pokémon, a grand battle is about to commence and it is about to get intense all over the place!
Sienna Khan: Come for yourself and see this amazing spectacle as two FutureTech folks clash it out with their own Pokémon, in a new combat style straight from the well-known, Galar Region!
Hearing this was confusing to Lincoln, Linka and Jordan. "Wait what? But I thought the guys at FutureTech didn't have any Pokémon, what the heck?" said Jordan.
"Well, only one way to find out!" Lincoln, Jordan and Linka head to the arena and they're met with the rest of the family and their friends and they see that FutureTech nanotech has made the arena even bigger. "Whoa! What the heck is this?"
With the arena set, the barrier is up and everyone cheers at this amazing spectacle.
With the arena being large, they watch as the arena seats are packed with folks from the festival and they all wanna see what this is all about and then they see Sienna Khan standing in the middle of the arena.
"Thank you all for coming here, after an epic battle between Neil Spellman and Sergei Spellman, and then the battle I had against Simon Sharp and his Grapploct, it is time for the next and possibly the first new battle style we have seen here in Royal Woods! So… Are you all ready for this?"
Everyone cheers and Sienna Khan smiles. "Then, let the battle commence!" She steps back and makes it out of the arena and they see the two opponents.
On one side is the moronic ad yet deadly tactical air commander of Russia: Boomer.
On the other side is the CEO of FutureTech: Martin McKenzie.
The two opposing sides look to each other from across the field. "You sure this is a good idea man?" asked Boomer.
Martin smirks. "We won't know until we god damn try it out! So, let's do this shit!"
Boomer unleashed a Pokémon no one even know he has, a Garbodor!
Garbodor: the Trash Heap Pokémon: A poison type and the next evolution of Trubbish.
Consuming garbage makes new kinds of poison gases and liquids inside their bodies.
"Whoa. When did he get that one?" asked Lincoln. "Wait, what the heck is this?" Then he notices the wrist bands from Martin and Boomer. 'What the heck are those?'
Boomer smirks. "You're turn, nerd."
"With pleasure!" Martin throws the Pokéball and coming out is none other than, Orbeetle!
Orbeetle: the Seven Spot-Pokémon: A Bug and Psychic-type, and the next evolved form from Dottler.
It's famous for its high level of intelligence and large side of its brain is proof that it also possesses immense psychic power, it emits psychic energy to observe and study what's around it – and whatever is around it can be over six miles away.
Now everyone is amazed. When did he get this Pokémon? How long has he had this one? Does Becky know?! Truth: Becky does not know and she wants to have a talk with Martin later, but not now.
The crowd watches in awe as the fight commences and the two people in the arena give commands for their Pokémon who clash in an epic battle.
Garbodor sending mud shot after mud shot and uses poison body to keep Orbeetle clear from getting too close to him, but Orbeetle is bug and psychic and so he uses focus beam and then uses his telekinesis to make Garbodor float and slam down.
So, Garbodor tries to grab Orbeetle, but only to miss and the weird-alien bug Pokémon uses double team which means, which one is the real Orbeetle?!
So, Garbodor unleashes his sludge bomb all over the place and he lands a hit onto Orbeetle and grabs the floating beetle and his poison body is in effect. So, Orbeetle uses hyper beam and knocks away Garbodor but the damage has been done and Orbeetle is not looking too good.
Martin knows, it's time. "You ready for this Orbeetle?" The alien-looking bug nods and gets ready.
Boomer sees this. "Garbodor, looks like they're gonna do it. You ready big guy?" The walking trash heap roars and gives him the thumbs up. Boomer smiles. "Well, alright, let's do this thing then!"
So, Boomer and Martin recall their Pokémon back into their Pokéballs, and this has everyone confused, especially the heroes and the mayor and Sienna Khan. "What the heck are they doing?"
With the Pokéball in their hand again, they're wrist bands begin to glow like an amazing light has transpired from within, almost similar to that of Megavolution and Z-Move! But this is different and much worse than what everyone has come to know about Pokémon.
Then the Pokéball in their hands begin to grow, like literally grow in size and this surprises everyone with one word. "What?!"
Martin and Boomer look to the crowd and they smirk. "You ready for this man?" asked Martin.
Boomer chuckles and has a determined look. "Let's give them one hell of a show and one heck of a battle!"
Both men stand ready, they get ready to aim and then the duo toss they're large Pokéballs in front of them and the Pokémon come out, but something is so wrong and everyone slowly looks up at… What in god's name just happened?!
Garbodor…. And Orbeetle…. They're huge! No, enormous! No, Ginormous! Victor then has the microphone. "No, ladies and gentlemen, say hello to…. Gigantamax Pokémon!"
Now everyone is saying this word again. "What?!"
Gigantamax Garbodor! Due to the Gigantamax Energy, this Pokémon's toxic gas has become much thicker, congealing into masses shaped like discarded toys. It sprays toxic gas from its mouth and fingers. If the gas engulfs you, the toxins will seep in all the way down to your bones.
Gigantamax Orbeetle! Its brain has grown to a gargantuan size, as has the rest of its body. This Pokémon's intellect and psychic abilities are overpowering. If it were to utilize every last bit of its power, it could control the minds of every living being in the vicinity.
Thank goodness for the barrier to keep everyone safe from this ginormous situation! Holy shit! Nobody expected this kind of stuff to happen!
Gigantamax Garbodor roars at Orbeetle, but Gigantamax Orbeetle is unfazed by this roar and he stares down onto his foe.
"Let's show them what Gigantamax is all about! Show them some power with G-Max, Gravitas!"
"This is gonna be a fight, tonight baby and I am winning this! Lock it down with G-Max, Malodor!"
Everyone is still silenced and shocked, then they roar in a thunderous applause and cheer at this new spectacle look on Pokémon battle and this even amazes some of the Pokémon who has never seen this before, and now they wanna see if they have their own…. Gigantamax Form!
The heroes are still shocked and surprised and they even record this new combat prowess and Lisa has passed out from the unexpected surprise and almost all the louds.
Lincoln chuckles. "Well god damn!" He then uses his phone to record this. "Wait till my other world version hears about this!"
First ever Pokémon festival and it got a whole lot epic! So, who knows what could be next for the folks of Royal Woods and the creatures they call friends, buddies and allies: The Pokémon.
