Alright, so "Indoraptorman101" gave me the idea, though the concept didn't seem to fit the bill and so I came up with this, a crossover with a movie some of you have seen and known and perhaps loved and enjoyed. So, I hope you all enjoy this, and it takes place after the events of the whole film.

Spells and Louds.

Chapter 615: Stitchpunks and the Lifeless world.

(Royal Fortress.)

The whole team has gathered and all of them are so confused by what they see strapped onto the metal table and inside of a powerful glass cage.

"So, anything about whatever this is that Boomer caught last night?" asked Linka. "It kinda looks like a… Well, very old-fashioned airship toy, or something for reconnaissance missions."

Leon begs to differ. "With World War 1 style stuff? Not possible, I mean sure the German's made the Goliath remote controlled land mine, but this thing seems way too complex for the folks of the early and late 1930's to even comprehend."

They all look towards Martin. "Anything on this thing?" asked Sergei.

Martin finishes scanning the living mechanical thing. "It's called a Seeker and whatever made it gave it the sole purpose to find any living being, or human and also scavenge, the many components in this thing is as pure as World War 1 aftermath, and also from another world."

"We should get Gyro to figure this one out" replied Luna. "The dude might have something he might know of the world this contraption came from."

"Not gonna happen" replied Victor. "Tried calling him and nothing, the message was left out that he's at Runeterra doing some important business there with whatever's going on."

"Then I guess we'll have to deal with this thing ourselves…" said Lincoln, but then they see the Seeker starting to malfunction. "What the heck is happening?" Then the Seeker stops struggling and shuts down.

Martin scans the automaton. "Seems like this guy burnt out his own energy source, otherwise known as the flame keeping it pumping and going, it's not just to keep it airborne, but to keep it alive and I guess it ran out of fuel to feed the fire."

"Then how the heck are we going to figure out where this thing came from?" asked Sam.

"I already did that." They all look to Jack Cyber. "I managed to enter it's rusted up mind and saw that this thing has a directive to report any signs of human life or anything living for whatever else is advised to wipe them out, and this thing may have gone astray when its home base was obliterated by something."

"I have the coordinates from the world kit came from, and the rest of the memories of this thing are gone… The time it died out, is the same time its internal memory core shows signs of static and fade to black, so I don't know what we might be up against, but I do know that the one who made this thing is known as the Fabrication Machine."

They all think about this new information. "Well, certainly sounds scientific in name and to the fact this thing has the directive to destroy life sounds like a Terminator thing" said Lincoln. "Well, we should get going and see what this world is all about and figure out what the heck happened to it with this Fabrication Machine."

They all make their way to the Great Gate, but Jack Cyber takes the remains of the Seeker and has it incinerated. "Damn waste of stuff, and whatever this thing that made it was, I wonder why it would have the choice to kill life."

They all leave the lab and head to the top deck of the Royal Fortress and Jack Cyber plants in the coordinates through the Chronosphere trans-dimensional network and the portal is made. "Alright folks, let's go and knock on their doorstep."

The whole team locks and loads their weapons and readies their powers and they all pass on through, Martin has an MCV on stand by and some troops and vehicles to get ready to pass through once the coast is clear on the other side.

(In another world.)

Welcome to earth, well another earth, but this one seems devoid of life, almost devoid of all life. The whole world has no human life left, but it is raining so life will come back soon. This timeline is someplace in the late 1930's.

A portal from the other world opens and coming out are the rest of the Royal Defenders and they look around to this desolate wasteland and are shocked at what has happened.

"What the hell? Are we in the right world?" Boomer uses his binoculars to scan the area and look for anything, while Martin goes through his tablet.

"Folks, this is the right world and as of right now, this is where that Seeker came from, we're in Luxemburg Germany, or what's left of it and I am sensing no signs of human life within our vicinity, but some life is growing and all thanks to this rain."

They all walk around and look to the devastated city and then Leni sees something shocking. "Guys! Look!" They all gather to her and see that there is a pit with tons of human remains and metallic robot parts.

"What in the name of all things hell happened here?" Neil then slides down the ravine and he makes it to the location of the remains and he sees what may have transpired. "This looks like a battle, or a war and I don't think World War 2 was about the Nazi's against the world."

Neil then picks up the severed remains of the machine and he splits it open. "This was a World War against machines, machines that have the purpose to destroy all known life, let it be man, woman or child…. Or Sauna and Flora."

This surprises them all, then Boomer speaks. "So, this is like the Terminator, but old-fashioned."

Leon is surprised by all of this. "This is madness, this is insane and I could only guess that Adolf fucking Hitler is responsible for this treachery!" He then looks to the ruined city ahead. "We must know more, now!"

Leon walks towards the place, and the others follow, they can tell he's pissed off by this.

They all make their way into the ruined city, and they see the small algae and moss growing through the light drizzle of rain. "At least life will grow here, once more and the planet won't be a barren wasteland" said Linka. She then sees this destroyed Teddy Bear, and some bodies inside of a car.

"Yeah, but life won't be here for the next 2 million years or more, humans won't even evolve yet" said Victor. "This cycle will need to start from the top and I mean the very top where microbes will need to evolve over time and learn to become something through a genetic code."

Martin does another scan around the place. "There was toxic levels here once, but it seems the rain may have extinguished the toxic air and made the world breathable again. We're gonna need to setup some relay stations and get eyes in the sky on the world and what it went through."

Boomer sniffs the air. "Yeah, he's not wrong. Gas was deployed here, but the toxicity levels are gone and the air is breathable again, chances those machine swiped out all life using has warfare, and the gas seems like the very same one that were used in death camps, but 10 times worse."

Leon is angered by this. "Wretched heathens using the weaponry of the bastard bitch Nazi's, and now everything is damned of all life. By shit, I would relish the day I would one day choke Hitler and watch him beg for mercy."

Leon and Sergei then go to what is left of a Panzer I and they see the vehicle has been destroyed by a bomb and the crew have been scorched and so they get the bodies out of there to bury for later.

Jack Cyber analyzes the drops of rain. "These raindrops, they're unique and not like any other."

They all look towards him. "What do you mean?" asked Lori.

Jack Cyber then looks around at the light drizzle of rain. "This rain… Has the composition of H2O, but the other composition is made up of a form of life, a soul perhaps and whatever transpired here recently, is trying to revive the life of everything that was lost. Well, trying."

Jack Cyber then looks around. "And whoever was responsible for ending the nightmare that almost went out of control… Are still here." He then points to the old book store not too far from them and they all get ready to engage whatever this might be.

They all slowly go near the book store and see some broken glass and then they hear some books fall over. Lincoln uses his mask and they can all hear some whispering. "Excuse me, we're not here to harm you. Are you friendly?"

They get no response and so Leon talks to whoever is in there. "If there are anything left of life, please… We only wish to know what caused this world to be devoid of nearly all forms of life. We just need to know what happened and perhaps we can help resolve this dark and tragic timeline."

Then they hear a voice. "Are you friendly?"

They then respond back. "We are, we just wanna know what the heck happened to this world and what we can do to help restore life, even if it will take a really long time" said Jordan.

At first silence, then some whispering and then someone responds. "Alright… We're coming out."

Some books are moved aside and the remains of a clock and what reveals itself shocks them. "What the heck are we looking at?" asked Boomer They see 4 doll-like living things called, Stitchpunks.

Stitchpunks.
They are a race of small robots with a metal skeleton, protective padding and a skin of burlap or fabric to hold it all together. They have camera shutters for eyes and their upper arms and things are covered with fabric, but they're forearms and legs are not.

They're hands are made out of carved wood and molded copper. A Stitchpunk cannot come to life until a creator gives part of, or all their soul to the Stitchpunk.

They are made of both science and magic and transmitted via the Talisman which can transfer or take a soul, the one who made the 9 Stitchpunks used an ancient alchemy book to make them.

There were 9 of them, and each one represents a bit of the personality to which the 1st seemed to be the most flawed and the 9th is the closest to perfection and there is no such thing as true perfection. They are the size of a coffee mug or an acrylic paint bottle, or perhaps a glue bottle.

The 4 individuals then introduce themselves, though one of them seems doubtful about the people.

9.
To save us…
The last creation of the scientist, a Stitchpunk made up of burlap sack and seems to be the closest to perfection out of the others, though he seems a bit dark in color and his number is painted to his back, he didn't have a voice, not until
2 gave him one.

7.
To defend us…
The only female in the group who is brave and a self-sufficient warrior and adventurous, rebellious, hot tempered, independent and shunning the cowardice and authoritarian advice from 1. She is very protective over 3 and 4, having a maternal role over them.

Made of a smaller weave of fabric, not from burlap or hessian like many of the other Stitchpunks. It may be vinyl or corduroy. Her color has been bleached from her skin from long amounts of exposure to the sun, due to her constant exploring. Her fastening is a single toggle button in a vertical button hole.

She used to wear a bird skull as a helmet and the ear or quadrate bones of the animal hang down like earrings. She is also taller and thinner than most of the other Stitchpunks.

3 and 4.
To define us… To teach us…
Twins, and are made from gardening gloves. A dark blue hoodie and light blue bodies, with dark brown and beige stripes. Their numbers are inked onto their chests rather than their backs. They're both mute and communicate via their flickering eyes, which they do frequently to exchange information between each other.

They're eyes also have the ability to act as projectors in order to display information to the others which they cannot relay with their flickering alone. They are also the youngest in the group, in terms of mentality.

Seeing these little guys truly shocks them. Linka goes closer to their level which startles 3 and 4, but not 9 and 7. "Hi, we're not from this world and we're not here to hurt you guys. We literally mean you guys no harm."

9 and 7 look to the group and then to each other, and then they see 3 and 4 go towards Linka and they hold her fingers and they're eyes flicker as they look towards her fingers. This only means they trust her.

9 then walks towards Lincoln. "You think you can help this world?"

Lincoln thinks about this. "Well, I'm not the ace of the brains around here, that rile belongs to them." They look to the guys of FutureTech, then Clover comes down from the church tower.

"Guys, we got something that I saw, some kind of big machine stuck and destroyed."

The Stitchpunks know what that is, and so 7 steps forward. "I think you should know what happened."

(Later.)

Somewhere far from the town, they look onto the husk of this large machine with a single eye, its offline and there's nothing left of it and this makes Jack Cyber walk towards it. "So, this is the damned contraption that sent the seeker to our world by accident, well this thing is dead now."

"You have no idea how hard it was for us to stop this thing" said 7. "We lost the others, but at least we'll live on for them and try to at least figure things out in bringing back the life to this world."

"I used this to stop it." 9 shows Victor the Talisman and he picks it up and looks at it.

"Hmm, this is forged from both science and alchemy, so magic and modern studies combined to make this." Victor then scans the Stitchpunks with his tablet. "Seems like this is the same talisman used to help make the rest of you, each one the piece of a soul."

Luna looks to the Stitchpunks. "9, 7, 3 and 4. What the heck caused this madness? What made this world into a nearly lifeless planet?"

They knew that they should tell them what happened. Jack Cyber places a small device onto the remnants of the Fabrication machine and this causes it to slowly spark and then turn on, and then shut down.

7 backs up and has her spear and the twins back up and hide behind her. 9 is confused. "What did you do?!"

"Permanently offline" replied Jack Cyber, he removes the device and looks to the now officially dead machine. "This device sent a single and deadly pulse, that caused the wiring and systems within to shatter and corrode within, therefore no matter what power source, nothing will work."

"So he pretty much killed it" replied Sam. She tries to send a spark with her powers, but nothing happens. "See? Permanently dead and unable to come back, no matter what source of power."

9 walks towards the machine, and then he looks to the others. "You all wanna know what happened to this world, right?"

(An apartment building in the town.)

The group and the Stitchpunks are inside and are all looking at the corpse of the man who made them, the man who died and gave his last piece of soul to the one known as 9.

Julius Bergeron.
Also referred to as The Scientist, he is a skinny old man with a long face, brown eyes and thinning gray hair. His attire consists of a white scientist jacket over a gentleman suit. He also wears glasses, due to the myopia resulting from his old age, and near loss of all his 9 souls.

The man is Competitive, Hopeful and always excited to share his work. He is a former toymaker, he is the inventor of the 9 Stitchpunks, the B.R.A.I.N and the Talisman.

They cover their mouths and they are horrified by this, then Clover sees the recording machine, which is old fashioned and he places it onto the table and so 9 turns it on and they see that it shows a message from the scientist who passed away.

They listen and watch as he tells them of the machine he made, but was never finished due to not having a soul and that machine was known as the Fabrication machine.

The Fabrication machine.
Also known as B.R.A.I.N (Binary Reactive Artificial Intelligent Neurocircuit.)
Was supposed to be a machine to help humanity, until the Chancellor of Germany confiscated it and wanted it to make more and more machines for a possible Second World War

But because of all the work it was doing, the machine snapped and the AI became far too complex to understand and it changed its directive to eradicate all life, and I mean all life. But the sole reason it snapped to the issues it was doing, was because it wasn't finished, it lacked a human soul to cope with stress.

It created multiple devastating and deadly machines, such as:
Automaton Sentries, the Cat Beast, the winged beast, the Seamstress, Seekers and Spider bots.

(Later.)

They're all at the outskirts of the town and are looking at the grave they setup, the grave of the man who made them and the rain continues to lightly drizzle at this moment.

9 then looks to the group. "So, can you guys help us bring life back here?"

Martin thinks about this. "Listen Stitchpunks, the whole idea of life coming back would come in two ways… We either wait for more than 2 or more million years for life to come back on its own, or we have some folks come and help repopulate this shattered world and restore everything to possibly a new era."

"We'd also need to see if the rest of the world has fallen through the same thing as this land has, and then we can establish some technology to help cleanse the world of the toxic wastes that have been casted onto this world and the dreaded machine factories and we also need to be sure that all creations of the Fabrication machine have been eradicated."

The Stitchpunks think about this, and they begin to discuss it through whispering which the others can't understand, but Jack Cyber and fully understand the flickering from 3 and 4.

They then look to the group. "We came to an agreement, I think life should repopulate here, even though it will take long for life to come here, we think this world should have people. People who won't make the same mistake" said 9.

7 nods. "Our friends would've agreed to the whole idea, we'll go with repopulation through other folks, from wherever they came from."

This makes them smile and nod. "Well, then. Let's get to work." Martin then turns on the portal and soon a large vehicle comes out, and they get ready to establish the plan to repair and repopulate this shattered world from the darkness it was cast upon.

To be continued in the next chapter.

A/N: A crossover from the 2009 film "9" and it would be nice for them to stay with the heroes, but this is their world and the best they can do is provide some help in fixing this world, the whole plan of the aftermath will be on the next chapter. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.

Thank you "Indoraptorman101" even though you didn't really provide much of a detailed or good concept, but it was nice to collaborate, I think.

Date made: 3/1/21 – 3/2/21.
