Here's the next chapter. In this Chapter we get to see how a decent chunk of the cast reacted to Cody going missing in the initial storyline. Most importantly Trent, Gwen, Duncan, Courtney, and even Alejandro makes an appearance in this chapter so without further ado. Let's do this

Chapter 10: A Shocking Past

Dream Field of Flowers

I felt myself entering the dream field of flowers, unlike before this time I was both used to it and ready for what was in store, and there stood Kyle looking the same, blonde hair and all. I walked up to the figure and saw Kyle smile.

"Hello Cody, it's been a minute since the last time and I've been observing what you have done," Kyle told me.

"And how have I done?" I asked Kyle. Things have been so chaotic lately I don't even know.

"Good Cody" Kyle told me but then he turned around looked at the sky "But now there is more to show you about the past, so come with me" just like that Kyle took my hand and we were off travelling through time and dimensions.

Downtown New York City

Kyle and I walked in a huge city street that was busy with cars. All of a sudden I saw a yellow taxi come right at me.

"Aahh!" I screamed out as the taxi came speeding at me, and then all of a sudden the car just went through me yet I didn't move at all, no pain anywhere in my body as I heard Kyle chuckle.

"It really has been a while, have you forgotten Cody, I am the only one who can see you when you are like this, you are essentially a ghost right now, besides me no one can hear you or see you" Kyle explained to me.

"Sorry, it's been a while Kyle" I told him as I laughed a bit, "So can I ask why are we here, and where are we?" I asked Kyle.

"Well Cody, look around where do you think we are?" Kyle said.

"Wait.. we're in New York City, there's the Statue of Liberty where I nearly died" I exclaimed, remembering what happened during the New York Challenge in Season 3 when I nearly fell into the Statue of Liberty.

"Okay well why are we here?" I asked Kyle, getting back on topic.

"Well we are back in the original timeline, as you know we saw how your disappearance affected Noah, but I want to show you a certain event that happened as it happened 5 years after World Tour ended. but a year before Noah and Emma broke up" Kyle told me.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Well the 5 year reunion for Total Drama of course" Kyle told me, "However, without you there the reunion was a bit of a disaster. Actually it was a huge disaster on many levels"

"How so?" I said sounding shocked.

"Well let's watch" Kyle told me and as if on cue I saw Trent walk out of a taxi, Trent's hair was all messy as if he didn't sleep well at all he was wearing a gold suit, with a white undershirt, black tie, with blue dress pants, afterwards walking out was Katie who was in a strapless pink dress as the dress had a red floral arrangement.

"So Trent and Katie were always meant to be together?" I asked as I saw Kyle nod. We returned focus on the couple, Katie looked at Trent sorrowfully while Trent was looking depressed.

"Sweetie. What's wrong?" Katie asked Trent, I noticed she had an engagement ring on her hand.

"It's just, ugh it's been two years since anyone has heard from Cody, as much as I want to enjoy this reunion, I just hope he shows up." Trent told Katie. "That's all I want!"

"I know, even though I never talked to Cody that much, I miss him too, do you know how Gwen's holding up?" Katie asked Trent.

"No clue sweetie" Trent said kissing Katie sadly on the lips looking at her sadly before pulling away. "Duncan is trying to force Gwen to not talk to anyone from Total Drama, as they have had a low profile for a while now but at least they did not disappear off the face of the earth, Gwen did tell me last night in a Facebook DM that she should be here later today at least".

"That'll be nice. I am glad you guys are still friends and I am glad I have someone to talk to" Katie told Trent.

"Right ever since things fell through with Sadie, I can't believe she didn't show up to our wedding last week" Trent said and my mouth fell open. That was when Kyle stopped what was happening to talk to me.

"What happened with Katie and Sadie? They were inseparable for the longest time" I asked Kyle.

"Well once World Tour ended Trent began dating Katie and chose her over Sadie as you know" Kyle began explaining to me. "Well a couple weeks after you left for the Yukon, Trent proposed to Katie and the jealousy in Sadie hit an all time high, calling Katie a whore for getting engaged that quickly at the engagement party in front of everyone, and as you may or may not remember you were supposed to be their to help Trent with the engagement that day" Kyle told me and I nodded my head.

"I'm just curious Kyle, is there any way to go in the future of the new timeline?" Kyle shook his head.

"Unfortunately no, you control your own future timeline. I can only take you to the past. All I can say in regards to Trent, Katie, and Sadie in the new timeline is that Sadie's jealousy and anger is already building" Kyle explained to me. "Now I wanna take you to later that day".

Hotel Lobby

We were now in a hotel that was very nice looking. We were on the last floor, as I could tell we were in the lobby. The desk was dark wood and looked fancy almost out of a 5 star resort. There were many chandeliers in the lobby with the walls being very colorful to boot as well. All of a sudden in the spinning doors came Gwen and Duncan. Gwen looked the same outside of a dark long sleeve black dress that covered a lot of her body. While for Duncan he was in a black suit, black tie, and the green mohawk was gone as his hair was now completely black. Both of them were in all black and wearing sunglasses to hide their appearance.

"After you pasty, let's just get the reunion over with! I really don't want to see Courtney, she's still with that asshole Scott" Duncan explained however he looked annoyed.

"I wonder if Cody will be here" Gwen asked, which further annoyed Duncan who also looked worried now.

"Look Gwen the dude's been missing for 2 years, I know you miss him but he is unlikely to show up at this point," Duncan explained.

"Yeah but Cody has been the only one that has been a true friend to me the whole time, and so many in the cast misses him, I can only hope he shows up" Gwen said in a sorrowful face.

"Just Gwen, please don't leave me!" Duncan said looking down. "You know I love you!"

"I know Duncan," Gwen said looking sad.

I then asked "What happened with Gwen?"

Kyle then began to explain. "After Duncan served his 1 year prison sentence for blowing up Chris' cottage, he and Gwen reunited as she thought they were meant to be together as she felt guilty for the breakup and how she handled the whole thing." Kyle began to tell me.

"But she was another person who was looking for you at every turn. However. Duncan wanted Gwen to not look for you out of fear she was falling for you, which well she wasn't. But Duncan always felt ashamed for how he ruined things with Gwen and didn't want to lose her a second time. But in doing so she made Gwen lose the love for Duncan she briefly had again. but due to how desperate Duncan was this time to keep Gwen, she didn't break up with him out of fear of how Duncan would spiral." Kyle explained. I was once again stunned by this.

"Now it's time to take you to why without you there, the reunion fell apart so much." Kyle told me and just like that we were in another part of the city and time.

Fancy Restaurant (warning this scene gets tense quickly lots of foul language)

"Where are we now?" I asked, we were in a building with many tables, painted artwork across the building that looked like murals. Then I saw most of my whole Total Drama cast together at this huge table. Owen was sitting next to Noah and Emma, with Noah looking slightly sad while Owen looked excited for the food. Izzy was next to Owen trying to impress the big guy acting like her crazy self. Gwen and Duncan were sitting next to each other with Courtney staring daggers at Duncan with Scott, and Courtney had a look of anger on her face with Gwen, Leshawna and Harold were looking at each other lovingly but there was no passion in their eyes and I could tell their was tension, DJ had a very sad look as he just looked down, Lindsay and Tyler were talking with Beth and Justin about makeup and fashion. Katie was comforting a sad looking Trent, Eva had a snarl on her face looking around as only Izzy would talk to her when she wasn't impressing Owen. Everyone was dressed fancy as can be as it looked like they were ready for a huge dinner.

"So you may have noticed that everyone is not there yet" Kyle told me.

"Yeah where is Heather, Bridgette, heck even Alejandro" I asked Kyle.

"Well some of those reasons will be revealed at a later date because someone you mentioned is walking in as we speak" Kyle told me and then told me "This is gonna get ugly so be warned!"

As if on cue Alejandro walked in looking angry and livid as I noticed Heather wasn't with him.

"I guess Cody's not showing up" Beth said sighing quietly to herself.

"What are you all looking at?" he yelled at everyone who was staring at him, and that was when Duncan rose up from his chair.

"You! Dipshit!" Duncan yelled back "What's got you all hostile?"

"Nothing Duncan, or do you want to reveal why you're in all black looking like you are about to enter a funeral since you told me why last night!" Alejandro snarked back.

"What's going on?" I asked Kyle.

"Just watch" Kyle told me as I shut up.

"Shut your fucking mouth" Duncan yelled back. "At least my girlfriend has enough of a heart to show up for this stupid reunion unlike your no good slutty hag in Heather!" Duncan said, very pissed off.

"Oh, I am sorry that my girlfriend gives a shit about the person that none of us has seen in 2 fucking years, and because of that little twerp, my relationship with Heather is strained to hell and back, and that's just when I can see her as I haven't seen her in 3 weeks!" Alejandro revealed as everyone gasped at what he just said.

"Al what, what, what do you mean?" Owen asked Alejandro who even though Owen called his name wrong didn't even flinch like before.

"Heather just left me a few weeks ago without a trace and I haven't seen her since" Alejando explained looking sad. "I miss her so much!"

"I won't miss the bitch" Leshawna said, interrupting Alejandro.

"Leshawna stop it!" Harold said. "Heather has done nothing wrong I know it"

I looked and saw Harold and Leshawna argue about Harold being nice to Heather post show which put a strain on their relationship for a while now as Leshawna hated Heather greatly even after Season 3.

"That bitch deserved to get slapped, and if it was up to me all those years ago I would have thrown her into the sharks myself." Leshawna said.

"Leshawna you are being way too mean" DJ butted in.

"Stay out of this DJ, this doesn't concern you" Leshawna yelled back.

"No it does! You and Harold have been at each other's throats since Cody went missing and I am damn sick of it!" DJ yelled stunning everyone even more.

"Excuse me, I love Harold with all my heart." Leshawna sniped back.

"If you really loved Harold you would be willing to let Harold talk to Heather" DJ said. "Because otherwise you come across as jealous and insecure", there was a brief silence as you could hear a pin drop.

"You know what DJ, fuck you! Fuck you! I hate you!" Leshawna yelled at DJ stunning everyone. She then stormed out of the building flipping DJ off the whole way.

Courtney then butted in "Since when do we care so much about Heather who was a total bitch, and Cody who is a total loser!"

That was when Noah stood up and started yelling "Shut the fuck up! Cody is not a loser! He is my best friend and he has been gone for 2 years and it is my own damn fault!" everyone was silent again. "I was the last one to see him before he left, if I never went on that damn race show I could have got him to stay. I just wonder what he's up to now or if he is even still alive". Noah said crying at the last part.

"What?!" Emma said yelling at her fiance. "What did you say?" Emma looked like she was ready to strangle her fiance. Emma then stormed out and Noah realized he fucked up and ran out after her.

"Emma wait! I still love you!" Noah said, shouting out.

"Has anyone here even heard from Cody in the past two years?!" Tyler asked "I just want closure on how the dude ended up". Awkward silence as no one could even look at each other that was until Courtney spoke up and lit the match metaphorically.

"Once again why should we care about Cody, he was rude to me during the third season" Courtney bellowed out.

"Oh my gosh can it Courtney! He's a better man than your trashy redneck of a boyfriend" this time Gwen yelled at Courtney .

"Shut up Gwen. You ruined my life by taking my man back after All Stars" Courtney yelled back and at this point Gwen had enough and leaped across the table to fight her and all hell broke loose.

At this point so many people were yelling and fighting with each other, Courtney and Gwen were in an all out fight, DJ and Tyler got in a fight as Tyler took Leshawna's side with Harold trying to pull DJ away. Scott, Duncan and Alejandro were first fighting and then going at it like wrestlers or boxers. Katie, Trent, Beth, Lindsay and Owen all looked on in horror or were trying to pull people away, just in disbelief at what happened while Noah and Emma had a huge argument in the other room.

Chris and Chef walked in and just as soon as they walked in they ran right back into the kitchen as Alejandro threw a chair at the wall in anger aiming for Duncan and missing it, smashing the chair in pieces and from there the fighting just intensified.

"I think that's all you need to see for now in regards to this" Kyle told me. Just like that we were heading back to the campground.

Boys Gopher Cabin (Kyle Dream/Vision)

"Time is going on" I asked Kyle as I saw Trent and Noah asleep and moving around.

"Well that is due to you sleeping overnight" Kyle told me. "We have a couple of hours til you wake up, so you can ask me whatever you want!" Kyle told me.

"Okay, let me start at the beginning! What happened with Heather." I asked.

"That will be revealed at a later date, Cody" Kyle said.

"Okay what's going on right now, why is Sadie a lot more vindictive, angry and mean, previously she was depressed when Katie left not full of revenge?" I asked him, looking annoyed.

"Simple, Sadie was always jealous of every girl she ever met, as she always felt inferior to every girl due to her weight, it's what led to her and Katie having a falling out, eventually when Katie got her own identity with dating Trent! Also when she and Katie were instantly on the same team, a switch was flipped in Sadie in your timeline where she became a lot more competitive. When her and Katie were separated the few hours in the OG timeline she was depressed and when her and Katie got on the same team in that timeline, Sadie spent all her time and energy with Katie keeping her and herself happy out of fear of separation, and she did not focused on the game, so when Katie left initially she was depressed. But since Sadie was so focused on the game this time when Katie left this time, there was a fire lit in Sadie to take revenge on everyone in the game who in her eyes wronged Katie" Kyle explained and I was stunned.

"Wow!" was all I could mutter. "Um, moving on why are Leshawna and Bridgette on different teams?"

"Now is the time I can reveal this, but this is heavy and you need to be prepared for this Cody as it is a lot" Kyle told me.

"Shoot away I'm ready" I told Kyle.

"Well Bridgette was always meant to be a Gopher, and Leshawna was meant to be a Killer Bass, Chris misspoke the first day initially when saying who'd be on what team with both teams. Fate was always supposed to have Bridgette be on the Gophers and likewise with Leshawna for the Bass. That's why even despite the fact they were on separate teams Harold and Leshawna ended up together!" Kyle told me.

"Well then who is Bridgette supposed to end up, as it should still be Geoff, right?" I asked Kyle.

"Well, Cody that will be told at a later date if you don't figure it out yourself, as our time is coming to an end soon, it'll be a while before I see you again, but all I can say there is a lot more that you don't know about, that what went down in the past with Sierra, Geoff, Bridgette and ecven Heather. Farewell Cody!" just like that Kyle was gone and I was beginning to awake.

Screaming Gophers Boys Cabin (Cody Awake)

I sat in bed laying there I was left wondering about Bridgette and Heather in particular. Heather was one of the people looking for me like Alejandro said, and I was shocked. Even though her and I became friends in World Tour we fell out of touch when I went to the Yukon along with everyone else. I had no idea Heather cared that much about me, yeah she was a bitch now in this storyline, but going back in the past reminded me why I was friends with Heather all those years ago.

See, when Heather lost the money in Hawaii to Zeke when he was feral I was the lone person consoling her on the boat ride back to Canada. Provided it helped that Sierra was in the hospital dealing with her wounds in Drumheller, but I genuinely cared for Heather. We were the two people most affected by Alejandro's and Sierra's inclusion in the game during Season 3. Besides Noah, Heather was one of my closest friends in the couple of years after Season 3 but before I moved away, she was upset. She lost the money, she had no friends but me, in her hometown she was a social pariah, and after the season I was the only one who was associated with her in the cast. I didn't care. I always talked to her everyday just to make sure she was happy. I remember the day I packed everything up to move up North, there was a part of me that wanted to call Heather since I thought she might be on my side and ask her if I was making the right decision, but I decided against it since she was with Alejandro at that point after All Stars and I knew Alejandro still hated my guts.

As for Bridgette, I was stunned that she and Geoff weren't there at that Reunion in New York City, all I could wonder is if it was Geoff she was supposed to end up with or was it me. I only saw her as a friend and even then she didn't want to deal with me right now, yet I just wanted to talk to her, talking to her made me feel better, most of all it made me feel better about myself, but even if I did like her in a romantic sense she would never date a guy like me. But what was Bridgette's true fate? I don't know yet I want to know so badly and I don't know why.

By the time I came fully to my thoughts and was no longer in deep thought, it was 6:45 AM and I decided to get ready for the day.

So yeah a lot to digest there. A lot of people were looking or cared for Cody, but what happened in the OG timeline for Geoff, Bridgette, Sierra, and Heather? Those will come at a later date. Next chapter will be the day in between Phobia and Creek episodes, but don't expect too long of a chapter.

I will say this chapter does also kind of kick off the second arc of the story. Cody is obviously still the main character, but we are gonna start to see a lot more of the rest of the cast still in the game.
