Chapter 21 The Power of Darkness Part 2
Eraqus' POV
The Next Day
My classmates and I were standing in the rain...in front of a grave.
Urd's grave.
Later that Day
I walked into the classroom and saw Master Odin and all of my classmates there.
All of them...except Xehanort.
"Where's Xehanort", I asked.
"This discussion is about him", Master Odin replied.
"About him", I asked. "What do you mean? What's going on?"
"Please sit down Eraqus", Master Odin asked before I did just that. "Now Eraqus, is it true that Xehanort defeated the Darkside...using the power of darkness."
When I was asked this, I felt a hitch in my breath.
"He did", Hermod answered for me.
"I see", Master Odin replied before looking up at us students. "If I am being honest, from the moment I first met Xehanort, I suspected that he might have gotten here using the power of darkness."
"What", we all yelled out in shock.
"You've always suspected that Xehanort may have used the power of darkness to get here", Hermod asked angrily. "Then why didn't you say anything master?!"
"Up until recently, it has only been a suspicion", Master Odin replied. "It wouldn't have been right to have said anything until I had known for sure."
"What makes you think that Xehanort used the power of darkness to get here anyway", Bragi asked. "How would even use the power of darkness to get here anyway?"
"I suspect that he may of used a Corridor of Darkness to get here", Master Odin replied.
"Corridor of Darkness", Vor asked in confusion. "What's that?"
"It's the interlinking pathways that the Heartless use to traverse worlds", Master Odin replied.
"And you think that Xehanort used this too", I asked angrily. "What makes you think that?"
"At the time, it was the only logical answer", Master Odin replied. "And now that we have seen Xehanort using the power of darkness, it appears that my theory is correct."
"So", Baldr started. "What do we do now master?"
"I want the five of you to go back to the Destiny Islands", Master Odin revealed.
"Why do you want us to go back to that place", I asked angrily.
"I want you to find out more about Xehanort", Master Odin replied.
"Speaking of Xehanort", Bragi started changing the subject. "What are you going to do about him?"
"At the moment, Xehanort doesn't appear to have any intentions of leaving his room", Master Odin replied. "I doubt that he'll even notice that you all are gone."
Five Minutes Later
We were all walking through the halls of the school.
"Hey Eraqus", Bragi started.
"What's up", I asked.
"Are you going to go and tell Xehanort about what Master Odin thinks and wants us to do", Bragi asked.
"Why would I do that", I asked.
"Because he's your friend", Bragi replied.
After he did, I thought about what I had told Xehanort a little while ago.
"Darkness is bad and always has been."
