41: Obsession

"What the hell," Shigaraki yelled in frustration as he continuously tried to disintegrate the man before him. "How are you doing this?!"

However, Springtrap was so dumbfounded that he couldn't speak.

"No way," William said. "This isn't possible! No one in your class can phase! And, this isn't normal phasing! It-It's like...It's almost like we're glitching!"

William's eyes widened in horror and he paled.

"It can't be," the raven haired man whispered. "Please, it can't be!"

"Ah, Willy," a familiar voice purred. "Are you glad to see me? I did just save your life after all.~"

Will's body froze in horror as his mind screamed "no" over and over again.

It was him!

How the hell was he still around?!

How did he find him?!

Izuku studied the new intruder while William had a mental break down.

Sprawled across the couch—acting like he belonged there—was a tall humanoid looking bunny. He was a bright golden color and he had long golden hair that got brighter closer to the ends. He had dark purple bangs—that he must have copied from William—that framed his face and hypnotic fuchsia eyes with purple spirals. He wore a gold and maroon stripped shirt, a purple night guard's hat with yellow embroidered decals, a purple night guard's jacket with two golden stripes near the cuffs, dark purple leather pants, purple tennis shoes, and a purple scarf. On his face he was wear a pair of purple post-quirk VR headsets—the lenses being fuchsia.

Honestly, if it wasn't for his creepy smile and the way William was reacting to him, Izuku wouldn't have suspected him to be a psychotic murderer.

"You never answered my question, Willy," the bunny purred as he looked at William like he was the only water in the middle of a desert.

It made his skin crawl.

"No," William said firmly as he finally got a hold of himself, and the bunny frowned. "How did you get here?!"

"You called~," the yellow rabbit said, eyes lighting up and his smirk returned. "I could feel it...how desperately you were calling for me."

Glitchtrap—for it could only be him—then glitched off the couch and in front of William; his hand holding the raven haired man's chin. William's eyes were firmly closed, and tremors were racing down his spine.

"Now, now, that's no way to repay the one who saved you," the man said with a smirk.

"You're Glitchtrap, aren't you," Izuku asked, trying to get the mentally unstable virus away from his past-self.

"I am," Glitchtrap said as he glitched in front of the dual haired teen—floating upside down in the air. "Who are you?"

"Leave him alone," William screamed at the glitch bunny.

"Midoriya Izuku," Izuku said as he stared down the virus. "I'm William's reincarnation."

"There more than one of him," the yellow bunny said eyes lighting up as he draped himself over Izuku. "Marvelous!"

"Get off him," William hissed, and Glitchtrap switched to draping himself off of William.

"Jealous~," the rabbit purred in the blue eyed man's ears.

"As if," William hissed as he threw the yellow rabbit off of him.

"Glitch—is it okay if I call you Glitch," Izuku said carefully, getting the homicidal rabbit's attention; and the rabbit nodded with a wide smile as he glitched over to Izuku and, once again, draped himself over him. "As...nice...as it is to meet you, we're still in the middle of an attack. And, our friend is critically injured. We need to get back out there."

Glitchtrap hummed as he studied the green haired teen. The boy was interesting. He could see William in him, but the boy was still so...innocent. A part of him wanted to completely ruin it..., but William would never talk to him again if he did.

"I'll make you a deal," the virus purred, eyes calculating.

"Hell. No," William shot down firmly.

"I'm not talking to you at the moment, Willy," Glitchtrap said, voice tight with restrained anger.

"You're not going to make a deal with him," William said as he stalked toward the computer virus. "You're not going to control him! I was stupid and suicidal when I made my deal with you! But, he has a full life ahead of him! You are not going to ruin that! He's going to be a hero!"

William got right in the yellow glitch's face, eyes alight with dark, righteous fury.

"Fine," Glitchtrap said, and William froze, stunned. "I didn't want to control him anyways."

"You...don't," William asked, completely thrown to a loop.

"Nope~," Glitchtrap purred, amused at his favorite human's confusion. "That's boring."

"Then, what do you want," Izuku asked cautiously.

"Access to William," Glitchtrap said simply with a shrug. "I missed him."

William's jaw dropped as he stared at the insane virus.

"What," he asked, voice hoarse, not sure if he heard that right.

"You heard me, Willy~," Glitchtrap purred with an amused, manic smile. "I want to be able to visit you whenever. I. Want. I know you'd never let me near you otherwise."

His grin was sharp as he watched the two closely. They'd take his deal. They needed him.

Izuku looked at Will with searching eyes. He wasn't sure what to do in this situation.

What could they do in this situation.

William himself was struggling with what to do. He had to make a decision soon. They needed to get back to reality, and Spring would be panicking at the moment—no matter how slow time was in the mindscape.

"Well, Willy," the virus said with a smug grin—the jerk. "What do you say?"

"You won't try to control Izuku," William asked they psychotic rabbit with a dark growl.

"Come on, Willy~," Glitchtrap said with a honeyed purr. "You can trust me!~"

"Like hell I can," William hissed as his eyes darkened.

The yellow rabbit chuckled at this response.

"I promised I wouldn't, William," Glitchtrap said, and this time he was serious. "I won't control him. You'd find a way to delete me if I did, wouldn't you?"

William's answering smirk was all the glitch needed.

"See," he said. "Plus, why would I risk my fun by getting you angry with me? Aren't we friends?~"

"No," William said.

"Aww, Willy," the rabbit said pouting. "What about all our time together?!"

William just gave the virus a blank look, and Glitchtrap huffed.

"So, our deal," the yellow bunny asked, now disgruntled.

"What do we get in return," William asked, still not sold.

"Oh, Willy," the virus said with a sharp grin. "I thought that was obvious! You get my assistance!"

"What if I think we don't need it," the raven haired man asked.

Glitchtrap snorted and said, "Can you really survive if I left right now? You called me for a reason!"

"We didn't call you," William said with a dark glare.

The virus just gave William a look that clearly said he thought the normally bright man was being an idiot.

"Will, I felt your soul calling out for me," the humanoid rabbit said seriously."You may not have meant to, but you did call me."

This shut William up.

"Alright, how about this," Glitchtrap said. "I'll give you my permanent assistance, give little Zuku my ability to glitch places, and link your mind with the friend you're so desperate to save?"

William blinked in surprise, and Izuku gasped.

"You'd do all of that just so you can come bother me," William asked in disbelief.

"You're fun, Willy," Glitchtrap said with a honeyed voice and he hung off the raven haired man. "And now I know you didn't just leave me by choice. I want to continue to play with you, William.~"

William bit the inside of his cheek.

Surprisingly, the idiot rabbit was being more than fair. He just wasn't sure if he should trust him.

William looked at Izuku as he debated his options.

"Fine," William said. "We'll take the deal."

"Wonderful," Glitchtrap purred as he glitched in front of William and kissed his forehead.

A purple glow surrounded them, and the deal was made.
