"Against all the evil that Hell can conjure, all the wickedness that mankind can produce, we will send unto them… only you. Rip and tear, until it is done."

-King Novik of the Night Sentinels

The landscapes of Hell are as intense as its inhabitants, from the poor souls who are left to wander aimlessly with no purpose to the enforcers of Hell: no place is safe from the clutches of the Dark Realm. The blood-red landscapes camouflaged the remains left behind, giant skeletal corpses jutting from the ground providing the foundation of Hell's structures. The ground is littered with the skulls of their victims, using the rib cages of large beasts as a support for the caves they traverse is testament to the ruthless nature of the demons.

There is only one lifeform preventing the spreading of Hell's territories: the Doom Slayer. A vessel of uncontrollable, vengeful rage: he remains as the dominant force in his personal conquest to vanquish Hell. The mere mention of his name induces fear into the creatures traversing the burning plains of Hell.

A group of miniscule imps run towards the action because going alone is suicide. However, going with a pack is less suicidal. That is the only way to survive against him. Once arriving towards the edge of the cliff: the imps bore witness to the carnage of their brethren being slaughtered by the warrior clad in green armor.

Wielding a double-barreled shotgun, the Slayer advanced forward within the center of the arena. He grabbed the throat of a nearby imp and twirled above the creature before flinging it towards an incoming group of demon. Now that they're in one place: the Slayer unloaded his weapon, decimating the horde before him. His heightened reflexes allowed him to evade an incoming fireball from behind, twisting around to meet the gaze of a fearful imp. With his new target in sight: the Slayer sprinted towards the pitiful creature while reloading his weapon which he dubbed the Super Shotgun.

Large, spherical demons with a singular eye and a mouth large enough to engulf a small vehicle in one bite descended from the sky. They unleashed large blasts of energy from their mouths, directing their firepower towards the Slayer. The warrior dodged the attacks before pointing his weapon towards the flying devils and shot out the meat-hook attached to his Super Shotgun. The hook stabbed into the eye of the creature and latched onto its skin, giving the warrior enough leverage to fling himself towards the creature

With his arm blade sticking out: the Doom Slayer forced the weapon into the creature several times. However, he wasn't alone in the sky as the Cacodemon's comrades came in to help but found themselves within the Slayer's attack range. A small projectile shooter presented itself from behind the man's shoulder, pointing towards one of the Cacodemons and shooting a grenade into its mouth. The demon gladly swallowed it in a misguided attempt to scare the slayer but this worked to the Slayer's advantage as the device exploded from within the creature's body. With a secondary demon approaching: the warrior shot his meathook into the target and retracted the chain. Instead of going towards it: he used the retracting of the meathook as an opportunity to swing around the body. After building up a short burst of momentum: the Slayer launches himself away from the Cacodemon and crashes into a nearby Hellknight waiting for its opportunity to strike.

The tall, muscular creature fell onto its back with the slayer on top. The Slayer caved in the demon's head with his foot. Unfortunately, there was no rest for the harbinger of death as two unidentified demons attempted to get the drop on the Slayer. Left with no other choice: the Slayer used thrusters built into his suit to zoom back and distance himself away from his new targets. A pair of Barons had dropped down: humongous demons that dwarf in the Slayer in size. With their pale-red skin and horns jutting from their head: They were an accurate depiction of what people would imagine a demon to look like.

One of them took the lead while the other stayed back to toss green fireballs towards the Slayer. The slayer waited for his chance to strike as he rolled past the incoming target and was in front of the secondary Baron. The demon attempted to swing a punch towards the slayer and the warrior countered. The colliding of their fists caused the Baron's arm to explode with no remains left behind. The creature screamed in pain, falling to its knees leaving itself exposed to the Slayer. The other Baron unleashed several projectiles to hit the Slayer but they missed.

The warrior climbed up the weakened Baron, grabbing its horns and with one movement: twisted its head in-place like a pretzel. The sound of its neck snapping echoed in everyone's eardrums. Enraged by the loss of its comrade, the remaining Baron charged with little hesitation towards the Slayer. The warrior proceeded to leap off the corpse of his enemy, his projectile unleashing a ball of ice which exploded on impact, freezing the demon in place. He unloaded his Super Shotgun into the Demon's torso, shattering the ice as the creature burst into a bloody mist where it used to be.

The man quickly surveyed the area and found something that caught his eye: from the opposite side, opened up a large red portal that was devoid of light in the center. Emerging from this portal was an enemy the Slayer was all-too familiar with. The Marauder, a demon with the same build as the Slayer but slightly taller, wearing a darker medieval-style armor along with chainmail. His pale, white skin was unlike the rest of the fodder as he was more of a human than the rest. He has a pair of horns that curls up on his head and glowing red eyes. Lastly, he wields a large battle-axe with its blades generated from a crimson-red energy.

He was not alone, the demon was accompanied by a blue, translucent spirit that is slender and tall. The spirit hovered around the former human before transferring itself into the Hellish Marauder. With this transfer came a physical change for the demon. The demon grew in size with its muscles bulging and strains on the biceps forming. It's glowing red eyes were replaced with that of a bright blue and a misty-like aura enveloped the Marauder with a similar color.

The Slayer directed his attention to the Marauder, it was the most dangerous demon and needed to be dealt with swiftly. The Marauder is similar to the Slayer; Having come from the same cloth: they fought alongside each other as brothers at one point in time. Now, they face off as enemies in combat, so their bond no longer mattered. The Marauder steps forward, reaching his hand outwards and raises its deep, synthetic voice. "Back away, I will handle the Slayer myself."

The surrounding demons halted their advance and remained stationary. They stood anxiously, itching for their chance to attack and awaited their moment. The Marauder leapt towards the Slayer, axe drawn back to build up strength. The Doom Slayer saw an opening and shot his weapon towards the incoming Marauder. As the demon descended and was met with the Super Shotgun, he raised his other arm and a large, red energy shield formed in front of him which absorbed the blast. The Marauder swung with his axe, forcing the Slayer to jump back.

The warrior couldn't mindlessly attack the Marauder, his shield is indestructible so the only way to attack the Marauder is whenever he's attacking. It's easier said than done due to the accuracy and speed of his attacks. The Slayer remained steadfast, unwilling to back down and choosing to power on through as he has always done. The Marauder charged towards the Slayer, going for a wide swing across. His attacks were obvious, and he knows it. The Marauder was purposely telegraphing his attacks to bait the Slayer into attacking. Fortunately for the Slayer: He doesn't like to play along.

The Slayer hops into the air above the Marauder, pointing his barrels of death towards the Marauder and unloading once more. As expected, the creature absorbed the damage with his shield and followed through with his swing. Landing behind the Marauder: the Doom Slayer got low and swept the demon off its feet with a low kick. The Warrior attempted to bring his fist down upon the Marauder but the demon's reflexes were also quick, jumping onto his feet and whipping around axe-first. Doom Slayer blocked with his arm blade and stopped the axe. The blade of the axe was mere centimeters away from the Slayer's helmet. The Marauder commented, "What's wrong, Slayer? Having trouble?"

Their blades continued to grind against one another as it was a steady power struggle to maintain control. In a silent agreement: they both back off as their positions were mutually disadvantageous. In that same instant, the Marauder continued his assault by swinging his axe left and right. The Doom Slayer would shoot in those moments as well but his attacks were blocked. It was a repetitive cycle until the Slayer finally ran out of shells for his Super Shotgun and he was left without a weapon. Tossing his prized weapon aside, the Slayer brought his fists up as he was going to have to handle the demons without a weapon for the time being. The Marauder saw this opportunity and snapped its fingers as a command. With no hesitation from the spectating demons: they all swarmed at once, charging towards the Slayer with the intent to end his life. The Slayer looked around to analyze the situation and calculate his best strategy.

The imps all jumped in first, being swatted aside like flies by the Slayer's strength. A few Hell Knights rushed in while some others leapt from above to pound the human. The Slayer did a backwards jump, decapitating one of the knights and shoving the body into its brothers. Another Hell Knight attempted to surprise him from behind but had it's torso caved in by the Slayer's elbow. Shooting grenades left and right from his projectile launcher: the Doom Slayer was holding back the swarms of Hell Spawn despite being without a weapon. However, the Slayer made one crucial mistake: he dismissed the Marauder.

The Marauder came in for a surprise attack while he wasn't looking, hacking off the projectile launcher along with cracking his visor. This knocked the Warrior back, but he remained standing. He was getting annoyed, almost to the point he started growling out of rage. The Marauder took no chances, coming in close in an attempt to finish off the Slayer. Without fear: the Doom Slayer ran towards the Marauder as he swung his axe, dashing forward at the right moment to slam his fist into the demon's jaw and blowing it several meters back.

In that moment, the Slayer was engulfed in a purple electricity which hindered his movements. He looked down to realize he had stepped upon a demonic trap, how did he not notice? The Marauder chuckled, using its axe to get back on its feet as it massaged its jaw. "You impress me, Slayer, but your time is over." A Hell Portal opened behind the Slayer which caught his attention. However, nothing came out. The Marauder walked up to its nemesis before shoving him into the portal with a powerful kick. The gateway closed as the Slayer entered, leaving no trace of the Hellwalker left behind besides his infamous Super Shotgun.

"Is it done?" Echoed a voice from behind the Marauder, the demon turned around and got on its knee before the individual. "It is, my lord." Standing before the Marauder is a Human with short, brown hair and blood red eyes. His body is covered in red, symmetrical markings that cover his skin. He wears similar armor to that of the Marauder, but more grandiose. "Good, I want you to inform Muzan that he's going to have a surprise visitor coming his way."

The Marauder stood up, nodding its head in acknowledgement and answering, "Right away, my lord." Leaving the presence of the Dark Lord. The man viewed the carnage left behind by the Slayer, inspecting the Super Shotgun on the floor. "Now, let us see if Muzan is up to the test. If he's the perfect demon like he claims to be, this should be no problem for him… For now, only time will tell."

The Slayer rolled onto his back, quickly springing to his feet right as he couldn't leave his guard down for a moment. However, everything was different. He dropped his arms in surprise as he observed the scenery around him. Everything was so green, it was the complete opposite of the hellscape he had just been in. Why did the Demon send him here? There was only one way to find out, however, it was annoying that he lost some of his trusty equipment. With no way to return to his hideout to retrieve his gear: he's left with nothing but his wits and his strength. So, he must continue as he has always has, and find the answers by himself in this strange location he was sent to by the Demons…
