This is my interpretation of Odette's backstory, incorporating the relationships between Marie Taglioni, Emma Livry (Odette), and Louis Merante. I will include Odette's past with Regine and Rosita, Louis, as well as scenes not in the movie, and post-movie scenes.

A long time ago in 19th Century France, a young girl named Moineau is an orphan who loves to dance in her most private moments. But when her friend Kaalos leaves their home for Paris, she will partake in a journey of self-discovery and character. From the right of Mahou Shoujo Gintama Magica, comes a Leap! rewrite of grand magnitude.

Odette and Louis are now happily married with their newly adopted daughter Fèlice. And a new chapter to each of their lives has now begun as they go through the many adventures of life together as a family.

Before the fire, Odette had a goal. Before being the Maître Ballet in Paris, Louis Mérante had a life. They dreamed and then they met. The story before each became everything to the other.

After the events of the movie, Louis and Odette are together and have found stability in their lives. How will they react to something upsetting that status quo?

Teaser...Odette tried not to shiver in the cold. Through the winter months the Operas attics were frigid cold at night. She could always hear Felice shivering at night and it made Odette wish the beds were big enough for her to hold the girl. Louis had offered multiple times to help pay for a small apartment somewhere but even with him being her copain there was no way Odette...

It had been only been a couple of weeks after Fèlice’s big debut and she was filled with beaming fiery passion as she continued through her journey as a ballerina, presently she was staying in a given attic room by Mèrante with her mentor Odette, for some time now but after a little while, things had begun to change.

This is a Modern AU of Ballerina/Leap. Merante is the instructor at Felicies studio, Odette works as a pointe shoes fitter and cleaner, and Felice is 14, living under Odette. This is after her Nutcracker Performance and is set in modern day France.

The story of how Odette was injured, how Merante came into her life, and all the behind the scenes stuff you wish was in the movie. Complete for now - may start working on it in the future.

"Why do you dance?" That question was easy to answer. It was the only thing that gave her life purpose. It was the only thing that made her life worth living. "What should I live for, if I cannot dance?" That question was harder. She still had no answer.

Odettes life has never been easy, but when she gets the chance to dance at the Opera everything changes. She meets a kind handsome man and a young girl who is determined to prove she earned everything. Swan Lake come to Paris and Odette knows what she needs to do to prove that she can dance then tragedy hits and Odette loses everything. 10 years later her life takes another turn.

Felicie thinks that Odette and Merantes relationship was always one of no complications and ease. But when Odette decides to share her past with Felicie the girl finds out that not everything was as it seems.

How I imagine the night following Felicie's failed audition went.

1- She's dancing, and then she's not. 2- He's happy to finally get to see her, it's her big moment, he owes her. Then she slips away from him like water.

Odette and Mérante have been dating for weeks, suddenly Mérante has asked Odette and Félicie to move in with him as a family. Odette and Mérante’s love just can’t wait. Will it result into a new addition to the family?

Odettes Past is a long story, sometimes Beautiful but sometimes a harsh one...

While Felicie lives her dream, Odette feels sick and she has lost her remaining power. But she does not want to burden anyone but Merante cannot look on idle. He has to follow her...

In dieser FF geht es hauptsächlich um Mérandette, ihre jeweiligen Vorgeschichten, Gefühlswelten und Perspektiven und wie ihre Zukunft zusammen nach dem Film aussieht. Im Laufe der Geschichte werden Szenen aus dem Film, aus den Perspektiven von Odette und Mérante beschrieben. Viel Spaß.

A compilation of alternate universes. Odette and Merante met through the same responsibilities they were assigned together - they were subject coordinators. Or, they met because he was the resident-in-charge of her post-grad course and she was scared of the air he carried around him. They met and fell in love. They met and it didn't work out.
