In this sequel to "Whatever Happened to Captain Rex?", the Republic is morphing into a changed place. Rex and Cody are both locked up and there are whispers of clone rebellion. What starts as a simple mission quickly spirals out of control. The commandos of Bad Batch, while highly skilled, are still new to the war and have never worked with a Jedi. Quinlan Vos is used to working alone. But the Sith are on the move. Ancient, unknown evils shift restlessly in the shadows of Malachor, and Palpatine is not the only one who worships the dark.

Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka and Rex do weird things, but hey, what else is new?
