Beetlejuice and Lydia... before the memory loss and all it's inherent problems. Rules... you know I hate 'em. My full story has taken longer than it should have. I couldn't seem to figure out how to piece my story bits together. I realized it was because some of the bits didn't belong in the main story. So I'm making a prologue for them. Some scenes are new perspectives.

Bureaucracy has made Lydia forget her best childhood friend. Time isn't as perfectly measurable as we like to think it is when split between worlds. And Beetlejuice must overcome some monumental mistakes so that he can save the day... for once. There will be some clearly marked time skipping as the two's history is slowly revealed and their future is brought to light.

Lydia was already confused, and now pissed off. Not to mention intoxicated. It was easier to let the feelings flow when your rational thinking had been compromised. To hell with his warning, she wanted to go down this road if it meant finding out what exactly was going on between them.

Requested by JBlaser: BJ and Lydia don't listen when JB warns them not to go snoopy through her old trunks in the basement. After using the wrong spell on Claire Brewster, things go from bad to worse. And Lydia is the one who must pay the price!

I hope the first chap reads like a one shot cause idk if the second's getting written. Rated T for language and minorly suggestive themes in future chapters probably, idk i havent written them yet.

Ok, so this is not really a Beetlejuice fanfic. It's more of an original story, but it's just a draft. I won't be posting anymore chapters, this is just a trial run so I could get some feedback.
