Please ignore this story. My literature teacher made me do it for a grade.

Wherein a bunch of frat boys who are very insecure about their sexualities break a guy's arm and get sued by his mom. Or maybe that's just Beowulf.

Beowulf, a name that reverberates to this very day. Echoes of his deeds fall on the ears of those willing to just listen. But what became of him, and who is left to carry on his legacy?

Beowulf and Grendel dare to break the mold of hero and foe.

This is actually an English project that I wrote and completed before realising that it was, technically, a fanfiction. In short, it is a rewrite of the lead up to and the dragon battle set in a futuristic setting and written in the form of a play. Warning for character death.

An ole' tale of a hero aiding a Germanic tribe from certain death by the hands of a beast far greater than what they can deal with. With winter on the approach they call for a renown Geat to come to their aid!

This past semester I had to do a creative journal for my English. For all four of my journals I decided to do an adaptation of the literary works that we had to read. The first one of four is an adaptation of Beowulf. Synopsis: Follow a brave woman named Elizabeth as she attempts to to purge a galaxy from a terrible darkness.

Everybody has heard of Beowulf, right? And everybody remembers the demon Grendel, right? Well, how do you think the story would've gone, if he had a sister? Follow this new side of Beowulf's story, told by the perspectives of the monster, Grendel, and his Danish sister, Genevra, as they share adventures beyond their wildest dreams.(Storebror,big brother) (Lillesøster,little sister)

Grendel's side of the story was never mentioned. Neither was his family. A one-shot concerning Grendel's family and what they thought during everything.

Aeschefe/Hrothgar. No, this has no smut sadly. It started out as a crack parody of the utter seriousness with which the author of Beowulf treated heroism and drama. Then I just, you know, had this wonderful feeling welling inside of me...and thus I birthed and ejaculated this lovely artsy scene.

Wealhtheow is a Valkyrie Narrative Story for my LA class

My rather lackluster attempt at a modernized version of Beowulf for an English assignment. Beowulf, a well-known detective, and his trusty assistant Wiglaf are called to Denmark City to solve a bloody mystery.

Beowulf has a mysterious secret admirer.

Who was the person who stole the cup from the dragon? And why are they so bitter? Was Beowulf to blame and he didn't even know it? No one knows, since all people involved have died and the ocean does not kill and tell, but it is willing to make this exception. Rated T for implied suicide.

This is the part when Beowulf fights Grendle. It's the part when the monster comes into the castle and kills the sleeping men and Beowulf wakes up to him. This is from Grendle's point of view.

Wishing for redemption with piling regrets

An additional battle for Beowulf to undergo: Beowulf must fight his shadow, Beoweoan, after starting a pride fight with the lesser son of Hygelac, Eantheow.

For my English class we were assigned to take the battle between Beowulf and Grendel and write it in Grendel's point of view. This probably the best thing I've ever written. Criticism welcomed!

For a Creative English Assignment I was to write a modernized version of Beowulf. I thought it would be interesting to post it here and see what you guys thought. She said we had a lot of creative freedom so although I wanted to make it all parallel to the story at first, I knew it just wasn't possible if I wanted to use my time wisely. Please critique!
