Spring has come, and with it Kaori has returned to the lives of those around her to begin a new odyssey. All actions have consequences, however, and Kaori and Kousei find that their happy ending was not as easily won as they thought it would be. Post-canon, spoilers for the ending, fix fic. The sequel to Eurydice; reading it is mandatory to understanding this fic.

A few months after Kaori Miyazono passed away, Kousei Arima still feels her loss in his new college. Following him around as she promised, Tsubaki fights the urge to tell Kousei her true feelings. With emotions high and secrets dying to be released, a single lie is told. One more lie. Just one more. And everything will change.

Shortly after Kaori's death her parents find her last will and testament under her violin with an important directive and a note to Kosei with two requests.

The high school year starts off with the whole gang together. What happens if we add a violist? Not just a violist, but a clarinetist, vocalist, organist, pianist, and so on? Kousei is the inevitable accompanist with the skills enough to help this person. Warning: lots of viola jokes ahead :)

I got really hung up on YLIA. Don't get me wrong the ending was perfect and right, but I just couldn't help myself. Also, I rewrote the first two chapters if you want to check it out.

My take on if Kaori didn't die at the end of the series - maybe over done with the Fan-fiction but this one is a bit more of a one shot
