When Yato develops heat sickness after working in the summer heat all day long. His friends worry for him, and try to comfort him in his time of need. But when a stubborn Yato refuses to lay down and relax, his friends and family have to deal with the stubborn god.

Bishamon has already lost Ebisu to the heavens, and she refuses to lose Yato to the underworld. She doesn't know why Yato went into Yomi in the first place, but she thinks it's a bit hypocritical of him to scold her for following him down to the underworld when he would defy the very heavens for those he cares about.

During a ritual cleansing of a school, the regalia start going berserk, leading to the gods disappearing. Desperate to find her friends, Hiyori encounters many battles, and does things she never thought she would, such as descending into the underworld.

After Kazuma ultimately cursed her with the cold, hard truth, Hiyori cannot hold her emotions in anymore. She soon faces Yato on his way back home from his journey. From then on, their string of fate decides their future for them. Will everything crumble, or can they stray from tragedy?
