Elena finds Héctor's discarded letters to Imelda and Coco. And her mind immidiately starts racing. She has questions, but she can't just ask them. If anyone found out about the notes, Elena would be in big trouble

Héctor can't resist giving special nicknames to his friends. Some people love it; some people relly can't stand it.

There's a chapter in my story "Illnes" (precisely chapter 8) where Héctor tells Victoria about one of his dates with Imelda. You could argue that he left a few things out. This story dives deeper into the moment of the memory. And, yes, there were some things Héctor didn't give much detail about.

Elena likes being reunited with her family in the Land of the Dead. But she finds it hard to get over her anger toward Héctor. Years of hating him for leaving their familia isn't hard to let go of. But as she learns about the kind, compssionate person Héctor really is, it becomes hard to blame him for his past mistakes.

Imelda was happy for her daughter on the day of her wedding… but seeing her with Julio stirs up some old, painful memories.

Imelda and Hector shared many kisses throughout life, though none were quite as special as their first(s)

Six years after Héctor Rivera's memory has been preserved in the Land of the Living, a new tragedy strikes with Miguel.

What has Héctor had been doing all that time in the Land of the Dead? Not much is known, but things turn ugly when a magazine begins publishing personal things… old friendships, questionable stories, and secrets that could tear apart all that he has been working for.

After being stuck in the bell, an unwitting conversation with a member of the Rivera family, leads to an unexpected heart to heart talk, and later an offer of redemption by the very family who brought his downfall. But maybe making shoes is better than being stuck in a bell for the remainder of his days.
