In the face of danger, does Buttercup really need Westley? As lovers make their way through the Fire Swamp, Buttercup falls into Snow Sand and is transported to an alternate universe. While reading William Goldman's The Princess Bride for her class, a modern day female student is somewhat-literally sucked into that same universe. When the two meets, what will happen?

After the Man in Black defeats Buttercup's kidnappers (two of which really aren't what one could call 'bad'), Fezzik finds himself alone and friendless all over again. A local 'witch' stops a group of village children who are taunting Fezzik in his cave, and helps him find the confidence to face the world again. I love the movie, but this is based on the book. OC, no pairing.

"Reaching into her corset, Buttercup retrieved her Florinese dagger, which she kept close in case of emergency, and throwing it, caused a gaping wound in the nearest R.O.U.S." My mother's take on what would've happened had Westley been a bit less brave in the face of danger.

A small though not short story dedicated to the gentle giant Fezzik and his gift for rhyme. Book verse, mainly.

Buttercup hated Humperdinck more than anyone else. Humperdinck only knew the hunger for revenge. But when circumstances bring them together, can they find love in what seems an impossible partnership?

Handsome is probably the exact right word for it. Handsome. Worth a ransom. ... His face would be even more beautiful in the glory of superiority, of triumph over adversaries. - Fezzik and Inigo were both fairly drunk when they met. Which explained a lot.

A potential excerpt of a future story that features the backstory of the Dread Pirate Roberts and how his legacy began, along with the tale of another one of the most beautiful women who ever lived.

Humperdinck wanted nothing more than revenge on Westley...even if he never loved Buttercup. He cares nothing for her, or anyone. But when he finds himself beaten, alone, and lost, can a simple farm girl - from, of all places, Guilder - teach him to love again? Humperdinck/OC. Rated T to be safe (drunkenness). I own Requiem, the other characters are William Goldman's.

Finally back on board the Revenge and Inigo is fading fast, Fezzik is at a constant vigil by his side. Buttercup and Westley don't know how to help. And then some cute adventures with my favourite giant and Spaniard.

After Westley and Buttercup had Waverly they moved into the Forgotten Forest where they have so far lived in peace until Humperdink kidnaps Waverly. Who is going to save her when Buttercup and Westley are not around?

Events leading to the six fingered man's death and the bride he left behind.

In the Novel the Princess Bride, Buttercup, after finally having realized after years that the poor farm boy she had always mocked was her true love, mustered up the courage to go to his hovel in the middle of the night and confess it. And he slammed the door in her face not admitting his feeling until the next morning. Here is if he had responded different.A very different night.
