Randall gets released from prison and he has yet to redeem himself, will he change his ways or will he remain the same evil jerk as always?

While cleaning the attic, Mike stumbles across his old university chest and discovers a couple items, bringing back happy memories of his time with Randall. When the lizard comes by for a visit, the two pals look back on their past and have a little emotional moment when Randall spots the two items in question, with one item in particular bringing tears to his eyes.

A pretty long planned out Fan Fic about RandallxSulley. With a retelling of the original movie where Randall isn't the bad guy. This also means that there will be other characters from the monster world to join them in this story. Also massive note this takes place before the events of MI (duh) which means it's around 2001. So technology won't be as modern.

Working on the Scream Extractor one night, Fungus appeals to Randall and discovers the pain and loss his partner has suffered over the years, while also showing some compassion and care towards the lizard, opening Randall's eyes back up and letting him know it's not too late to change things, while also letting him know that he does, in fact, have a friend.

Randall's back from his banishment and recovering in the hospital. Mike, feeling guilty over what happened, goes to visit Randall, as the two of them open up and Mike gives comfort and compassion to the now broken monster, mending the friendship between them.

Prior to Sully's release, Mike began recieving pieces of the door that was thought to be destroyed. Now Sully is given another chance to see Boo, but will things be the same?

Randy's always wondered why at the last second Mike told him to keep the glasses. He finally gets his answer and more when the two of them are studying and things get more affectionate as time goes on, blinking through his large, round glasses as they bask in the moment.

Mike's been captured by Randall, though as he appeals to his captor's mercy, he discovers all the sadness and pain his former best friend has kept within him all this time, finding out what happened to Randall after he and Sully were expelled and gaining sympathy upon seeing the monster buried beneath the bitter and cold shell.

Waken up by a storm, Mike discovers Randy's fears of thunderstorms and takes it upon himself to comfort his poor friend during the storm, even allowing him to cuddle with something very precious to the green monster, with both of them reveling in their comfort and sentimentality together.

As winter break looms, Mike raises Randy's spirits up by telling a story of the monster who inspired him to enroll and become a Scarer, along with showing his faith in his best chum and his abilities, letting the lizard monster know just how amazing of a monster he is and how happy he is to have him for a friend. Mike also gives Randall something special too. Pure fluff!
