In this Battle Royale Fanfic, it is a version of the US years into the future, where after covid-19 and the Jan 6 insurrection, politics got more and more extreme, leading to a world where Glory Week would be implemented to unite people. Glory Week is where one person from each state is selected to kill off the ones from the other states, and this story is based on the 20th time.
