So many years after she went to the war, Diana needs to commemorate Steve Trevor as best she can. Not only for herself, but for everyone. The Amazons don't fight against Ares, but rather they fight with their brethren.

Steve drops by to visit Diana's family - especially Hades and Persephone - on a regular basis. He had gotten used to the situation by now, and it was fairly routine.

Diana is the only child of Themyscira. She has hundreds of aunts. Diana is also only in her fourth year, and not quite up to the task of pronouncing names as she should for effective communication.

The pain of losing a child was unbearable, and this was not the first time that Howard and Helena Trevor had experienced it. But then Diana Prince comes to visit. These three people - their hearts broken by the loss of the same man - find solace in each other's presence and begin the long, slow process of healing.

This story follows the 2017 movie up to the moment of Wonder Woman's final battle with Ares. However, what happens from there on turns out somewhat differently. Steve is dead (sorry, no miraculous savings here), and Ares too, but Diana is captured by the Germans before the signing of the armistice. She faces court-martial as a British secret agent, but the Amazons get wind of it...

As exasperated as Steve was, he never expected to find Sameer is such compromising positions, well actually scratch that, he did expect it, but never quite like this. He couldn't move when he sees them. There he was, his friend, one of his best friends, laying with another man in a rumpled hotel bed. His friend, still inside this stranger. "Do you hate me?"
