Gabi Montez is overweight. Ever since her dad died, she's been in a deep depression. Not only that, but she is bullied by Troy Bolton and his crew. This summer, she takes a vow to 'break through' her depression and lose weight.

It was only a talent show, I never thought it would change my whole world. I never thought it would bring buried feelings to light. And especially not feelings for my best friend, Troy. One-shot.

He was my best friend, my everything. And then he met her, Gabriella. It was love at first sight or so they said. So I never pushed the subject, I never told him how I really felt inside - how I still felt. And with prom coming up, it made me wonder - was it too late? Two-shot.

Gabriella loved big cities. Moving from San Francisco to New York for work was a once in a lifetime experience she was determined to enjoy. Too bad the best coffee in her area was in a little bagel shop and she hated bagels. Who knew, out of all places, that is where she would run into someone she never dreamed of seeing again in the middle of New York City.

Set way after HSM3. During Troy's college years. He breaks up with Gabriella due to lack of communication. When his new girlfriend gets pregnant and delivers the baby, she doesn't want it and tells Troy to take it or put it for adoption.

This is a take on a post HSM3 storyline based off of song lyrics. I am taking each chapter and facing them off of a song. Each chapter will be based off of a different song, so I don’t know the full story line as of now. Sorry that this wasn’t that great of a summary.
