In 1899, Scotts and the Manhattan newsies find themselves going on strike when theres an increase in price. But Scotts tries to enlist Brooklyn's King into the strike, she finds that running from the past is harder than it looks and it'll either make or break the strike. REWRITE

Living on the streets, Ezra Brookens gets into a tussle with a few of Spot Conlon's men after luring them in to steal their belongings. Instead of throwing her back out on her own, Brooklyn's finest decides to utilize her within his crew. A few months later, Ezra and the Brooklyn newsies find themselves aiding the strike against Joseph Pulitzer.

The world is cold cruel. NYC are no place for Annie Kelly, but what can you do? With the bulls after her brother, and the Delanceys after both of them, things are just crazy-and they get crazier with the strike. Jack's looking for freedom, she for independence. With Jack as a sibling, there's not much she can do about that-right? Summary sucks, but the story is bettah. R&R!

In which Jack hears the Delancey's are out looking for revenge.

Sometimes she could almost pretend that Jack was still the boy she loved. The boy she thought she had married. Mama had warned her not to marry a boy who wasn't Jewish, didn't she? She had warned her, but Sarah didn't listen. Sarah didn't care. And now Sarah was trapped.

She knew he was dying, but she would never leave him. A morbid Skittery romance.

New York's sun hit him in the face, but Skittery didn't bother to shield himself from it. He was alone at last; alone with the horrible, sudden realization that sometime in the last three years he had inexplicably fallen for Sarah Jacobs.
