This a rewrite and restructuring of my Amendments story. It is a slow-burn with some angst and Vergil trying to find his place in the human world. Lady and Vergil haven't spoken since New Year's Day and Dante has no idea why. The day before Valentine's Day, Trish finally tells him the reason, and the two then work together to try and resolve the silent feud. (Basically a fairly fluffy story mostly told from Dante's point of view, while he tries to accept the recent changes in his life).

After his fiancee died, she left Dante with their year old daughter. Now, still in the process of pulling himself back together, Dante, with the help of his brother and his friends, is recentering his life around his child as he tries to process his grief. One-shot.

Necessary backstory information would be that I have an au for V where he was homeless for a while, sort of following the idea from his original story. This scene is just an idea that I had gotten while listening to music, an idea that circulates around "what if he suddenly was pulled from that life and given a steady life?"
