Bud not Buddy except his name is Buddy and not Bud. It is a modern day version of the story and illustrates the life of Buddy and his orphan friends. No he does not stay in Michigan forever. He finds his grandpa but then his grandpa dies. He does do band but he does not play saxophone. I would honestly say that this takes place between late 90s-today because there are pay phones.

All characters are those of Elsie J. Oxenham, with some crossover appearances by contemporaneous characters of Arthur Ransome, and allusion to characters of Dorita Fairlie Bruce.

In a world full of magic a set of twins hold a strange power. Could this be the beginning of something grand for them or is it the beginning of a road of destruction as it has been pointed out I seem to have forgotten to mention that this story is an Au for many different book and playwrights.
