This story represents the beginning of what I am calling the Maelstrom Universe. A universe full of superheroes and supervillains, Kaiju monsters, wizards, and massive faction conflicts to boot. A world that has more recently than ever become very, very familiar with the paranormal. A melting pot world full of characters and stories, all intertwined in one strange world.
