Not much has been said about how the duo met or what happened after the cartoon, but Lydia Deetz was about to make some choices that would haunt her for the rest of her life. Life is hard for those who don't fit in, and harder still for those who don't have a life. But, in the end, things like wanting to be loved & accepted is a universal desire for all beings, right?

Beetlejuice and Lydia... before the memory loss and all it's inherent problems. Rules... you know I hate 'em. My full story has taken longer than it should have. I couldn't seem to figure out how to piece my story bits together. I realized it was because some of the bits didn't belong in the main story. So I'm making a prologue for them. Some scenes are new perspectives.

Bureaucracy has made Lydia forget her best childhood friend. Time isn't as perfectly measurable as we like to think it is when split between worlds. And Beetlejuice must overcome some monumental mistakes so that he can save the day... for once. There will be some clearly marked time skipping as the two's history is slowly revealed and their future is brought to light.

Requested by Mitchell Movie Productions: Going against his better half's judgement, Beetlejuice tried to convert his "New You Cologne" into a drink. Lydia, unfortunately, drinks it splitting her into 14 different Lydias, with each shirt color representing a personality trait. And now, Beetlejuice has to find a way to get her back to being one Lydia. Can he manage?

Lydia was already confused, and now pissed off. Not to mention intoxicated. It was easier to let the feelings flow when your rational thinking had been compromised. To hell with his warning, she wanted to go down this road if it meant finding out what exactly was going on between them.

She should be wary but something scary ventures into her nonetheless. A ghostly haunting will turn loose and she will scream his name but not three times. A simple short story with humor of dark and light, love and lust, and a tale of what lengths one will take to get happiness. Takes place in cartoon verse but the more adult things BJ does are taken from his movie persona.

I hope the first chap reads like a one shot cause idk if the second's getting written. Rated T for language and minorly suggestive themes in future chapters probably, idk i havent written them yet.

Lydia has to put up with Beetlejuice as a human. Will it work? Will she fall for him? And the big question is will she merry him over aging? You just have to read and find out.
