"I said, I'm fine." Mao Mao insisted. "Dude, you can't walk on that." Badgerclops pushed. He honestly didn't understand why he didn't just pick the cat up, already. Maybe, because he was tired. Or, maybe because he knew how much Mao Mao would struggle against him, and, in turn, just make everything worse.

The residents of Pure Heart Valley live their daily lives, even if it includes the occasional monster. Mao Mao, Badgerclops, and Adorabat have even started to get used to this lifestyle. But just as things started to become peaceful, something unpredictable happens. Mao Mao’s sisters take some time to visit! Why now? And how will this affect Mao Mao?

Set between "Before the Cave" and "Innocence Lost": While on the way to finding their first treasure together, Mao Mao asks his little brother about the peculiarity of his name and where it came from. Bao Bao doesn't hesitate to open up about it, as he felt he should have been long ago.

The Pure Heart Valley is in danger and a determined cat believes that he can put a stop to their crimes. The Sky pirates have stolen a piece of the Ruby Pure Heart and the King has sent for help from the legendary Mao family. Mao Mao is ready to get out and make a name for himself and hopefully prove his father wrong.

Prequel to "Before the Cave": Mao Mao and Bao Bao decide to take a trip down the mountain to a nearby town, figuring they could go together since they're a little older now. But even with how young they still were, trouble always seemed to find them. For Bao Bao, he would've had it bad if it wasn't for Mao Mao showing him what sort of hero he was to his own brother.

Late in the evening at the Sheriff's Headquarters, a tired Mao Mao asks Badgerclops a question the deputy may not know the answer to. Originally published in the BadgerMao fanzine, 'A Sheriff's Tale' in 2020.

Interquel - set between "First Bite" and "Lonely No Longer": When little Mao Mao loses something in the garden, he set out to look for it. He was determined to not give up on finding the thing he valued most, as heroes would do. What he didn't count on was the unlikely assistance from an equally unlikely source who had just recently come into his life...

It's Snowfest, and the Sheriff's Department has been asked (well, ordered) by the king of Pure Heart Valley to organize a holiday trip for some of the Sweetypie children. Just an angsty, short, Mao Mao one-shot.

it's the sheriff department's first monster bash night out ever since they arrived to pure heart valley! a special holiday dedicated to scares, wearing costumes and eating candy. however, mao mao can't help feeling like there's something off about the way the kingdom chooses to celebrate.

[-Sequel to "Momo: Mages of Pure Heart"-] Months after an attempted ghost invasion on Pure Heart Valley was thwarted, thanks to Mao Mao and Momo, the Sweetypies prepare to celebrate the Harvest Moon Festival. Everyone is eager to celebrate...except that one ghostly outsider struggles to find their place in the warmth of community. (Based on Google's 2017 short "Jinx's Night Out")

Badgerclops feels that it's about time he leaves the team to do bigger and better things with his life. Upon hearing this a certain cat is determined to do everything in his power to keep his best friend from leaving.

Mao Mao and Adorabat get into a fight, which results in Mao Mao saying the wrong thing, causing Adorabat to run away. When the Sheriff goes to apologise, only to find her missing, it makes him even more desperate to apologise, so with the help of Badgerclops, he goes on a hunt to find the bat. Meanwhile Adorabat will come across the consequences of running away.

What if Mao Maos mother came after he and Bao Bao were punished by the villagers at the end of the flashback to "Lonely Kid"? Read and find out!

Happens directly after "Second Son": After getting the first glimpse of his new brother the night before, little Mao Mao gets to properly meet him the next day during his lunch hour. Will he be able to hit it off?

Sequel to "Bark from the Past": Badgerclops and Adorabat had their own share of worries since Mao Mao's first reunion with the brother he passionately hated & whom the two deputies only just met for the first time. When they run into him again while out on the town, all three of them take the opportunity to formally introduce themselves - their way, without Mao Mao's interference.

Mao Mao's paw gently, yet firmly, grabbed Badgerclops's hand. (Drabble. Sensory prompt 32- soft cat feet.)

Mao Mao is invited as a guest visitor to Pure Heart Valley's school for up-and-learning magic users. There, he meets Momo, a fresh young student with whom he finds a lot in common. When ghosts suddenly appear and take over the school, it's up to both of them teaming up to put a stop to this threat before it escapes into Pure Heart Valley.
